A nice installment in this 4 book series. there is a nice bit of suspense thrown in. A bit of trouble for our MCs. It's good to see how they react when something is set off course. it's good to see that they have each others backs.

Okay
This book was better than the first 2 books. I did enjoy the tension a little more in this book. I wish we would've seen what happened with the professor as well as knowing Alyssa was reinstated in school. I would've also enjoyed knowing what Mace ended up doing with his life.

The reason I have a 4 rating is because of the ending. Do they get married or do they not get married? Other than that all 4 books where
great to read. I read all 4 of them in 1 night.

Adorable
A cheesy-cliché and predictable as it can be, I thoroughly enjoyed this series. I laughed, cried, cringed and grinned. All four books were a great weekend read.

This series is shaping up to be great...short but great, each book is just that much better then the last. there were times during this book that i thought i preferred the 2nd book because it was happier but then something great would happen and i'd drop the thought.
This book involves one particular sensitive topic for anyone really and i've been dreading seeing Alyssa in that situation...i practically foretold it but it still happened... my heart stopped at one point so i think in that moment Mace saved me as well as Alyssa.
I believe this entire series all about the relationship between Mace & Alyssa ... i might be wrong its just my personal observation.
Throughout the previous books we've seen their relationship pick up be knocked down and sky rocket back up again. This instalment brings the relationship into a new light... a much stronger one firstly but also from a much stronger Mace pov... be ready for some heart shattering realisation from Mace's side.... not so much from Alyssa but she's not been as guarded as Mace i guess.

4 pimp me stars! This series is unique and sexy. Two things that make a great book!!
In this third installment of the series Alyssa and Mace are still in their push and pull relationship. Mace still wants to continue with the auction, while Alyssa is still pursuing him. Then tragedy strikes, which can threaten everything they have.
I really kind of fell into this series and I’m glad!! I love this series and I love the characters!! I’m quite excited to see what happens next!!

With Alyssa and Mace back home, they are getting things ready for the auction. Morgan talks Alyssa into going to a party with her and Kelly to see what things are like before the trip to Vegas for her auction. She can’t believe that men are giving her money just for talking to her. Also one of her professors has offered her a chance at an internship in LA and a free ride at college. Yeah it sounded too good to be true to me too. When the professor asked her to join him for dinner to meet others in the program, she was a little skeptical and she knew she should have followed her gut instinct. When things turned bad and all hell breaks loose, will Mace find her in time? Will the auction still be going on? This series is getting better and better and will keep you guessing. I am enjoying and can’t wait to see how it ends.

Plans for the virgin auction are moving ahead in book 3. Alyssa desperately wants Mace to admit his feelings for her and call off the auction but he continues to believe that Alyssa is too good for him and that they have no future together (but it's okay for her to be an escort/whore?) I really just want to smack him upside the head! It's clear he loves her even if he refuses to admit it to himself. When she gets caught in a dangerous situation, Mace comes to her rescue. As much as I enjoy this series, I have to say these characters confuse me. On one hand Mace is saying no to a relationship but on the other, he hardly thinks twice about doing everything except taking her virginity, all in the name of training. Alyssa loves Mace but because he won't commit, she thinks she has to auction off her virginity? The thing is, I really love these characters and I can't wait to see how their story ends in book 4.

Other reviewers have gone over the story basics, so I will just get to the reasons you should read it.
Claire Donovan has done a great job of drawing the reader in and keeping their attention. She delivers a well written, engaging story with heart and love at the core. I will be looking for more of her work in future. I loved the chemistry between Mace and Alyssa.. One minute they are teasing each other, the next they are fighting their attraction to each other.
As a rule I do not care for serials for a multitude of reasons. Normally I prefer to wait for the boxed set. I realize some readers like serials and I highly respect the manner in which our author released them close together. I was very glad to have all 4 issues on my kindle so I did not have to wait. Thank you Claire.

Mace is trying to put aside his feelings because they don't matter. Obviously, Alyssa wants to go through with the auction or she would have pulled out.
Misunderstanding and lack of communication have these two circling each other. An opportunity arises which may give Alyssa an out, but will she take it?
I love following how this plays out. I hate the interrupted parts ugh! Bring on part 4!

Usually by book three I'm ready to move onto a new series but not with this one. Book three just made me more enamored with Alyssa and Mace. In book two the went to the old lake house which Mace bought (more for her). They connected and things were going perfect until they were back home. Alyssa doesn't understand why Mace won't call off the auction and Mace doesn't want to hold her back from her decisions. All of that gets put on hold when Alyssa gets attacked by someone she never suspected. Lots of heat, some action, and a little drama that makes this book so good!

Dr. Priestley has offered Alyssa an internship that would move her to California. Priestley has a dark side, and Mace will have to save Alyssa from him before she is hurt. Alyssa will soon find out that Priestley wants revenge, and he will destroy her future to get it. This is an exciting series with moments of suspense, and sizzling hot action between the steps. I loved it!

The third installment of this series does not disappoint. Alyssa continues her pursuit of Mace, and he continues to pull away. With the auction getting closer, you might think one of them will call it off. Then, circumstances get out of control and...yes, you guessed it, we need to wait until part 4. This series still holds my interest and is entertaining as heck.

Okay not only so we have the heat of two people trying to deny themselves now we have in a dash of danger!!! Yeah this story just got even hotter. Mace is the knight in not so shinning armor coming to save the day for her.
Alysa trusting and trying to move on to a be self sufficient and finding herself in a situation that Mace has to save her from. Yeah exciting stuff. Claire has sucked me into her world and I can't seem to want to get out!!!

An ARC was given for an honest review. This third part has some frightening aspects to it. Someone has found out what she is going to do for a living. He's one of Mace's client and he doesn't quite trust him. This story is getting exciting with a few dangerous moments.
On to the finale. This ends in a cliffhanger. Enjoy I did.

Four Great Stars! This is the third book in the series and Alyssa and Mace are still fighting their attraction. Tragedy strikes and this may threaten what they have. This is an amazing Series and I highly recommend it!

This is the third book of this series and again she does not disappoint. This story if full of twisted and I'm willing to know right now what will happed with those two. This pull and constant pushing away is get out of control. The author gift one copy to a honest review. Can't wait for more.

Alyssa has continued to try and get Mace ro see what is right in front of her. Morgan finds something that is disturbing about one of their hobbyist. When she tells Mace it is almost to late. But will Alyssa finally back out of the auction. Will Mace wake up and see her.

This series was ok I only purchased the other books to see what happened and how it ended. I they hadn't been free I might have considered reading them on my unlimited account but I would not have bought them. I can't really say what was wrong with the story line it just didn't do it for me.
