I, Aidan Stone, got the girl. My beautiful Eevie is sweet and sassy, and she owns my heart like no other. I promised her, I'd always protect her, and I meant it, but shit just got serious. Blackmail. Extortion. And Eevie is the target. Sometimes the past comes back to haunt us. Sometimes, no matter how hard you try to distance yourself from it, it comes back and bites you on the arse. And in walks Mr Hotshot Detective, Ryan Clark, thinkin' he can save the day and take my girl. Well, I've got news for him. *Spike is book two in the Spark series by Jennifer Ryder.

HOLY OVARIES BATMAN!
HAVE YOU SEEN THIS COVER MODELS JAW?!
 photo lickingponys_zps5145aa31.gif

SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHO IS SO I CAN GET MY STALKER ON.. I mean research him via the internet. for research purposes only.
In case I need to know in the future..
so.. yeah...

Ok so I actually liked this book more than the first!

It was part romance part thriller.

Aiden and Eevie were solid. There walls were down, they just kept building on the beautiful romance they had from the first.

Now throw in a stalker.
who blackmails Eevie, they threaten everything that she has.
She can't tell Aiden as it would crush him.

Now throw in sexy as sin detective Ryan.

We now have a scared Eevie trying to protect Aiden. A hot detective helping Eevie who is also interested.

Now tell Aiden what's going on and we not only have a very unhappy Aiden be we also have a possessive Aiden around Ryan.

Ok now throw in Jones. Another Moto cross guy. Also hot. Also Aiden's biggest competition.

Sounds good huh?

Well what if I told you that we get not only Aiden's POV, also Eevie's POV, but also Ryan's! and an epilogue written from Jones' POV

JR - gifts us with a beautiful HEA from A&E and one hell of an introduction to a "thing" with Jones and Ryan (Yep they like to have threesomes... together...) unsure if it's venturing into M/M territory or just they enjoy sharing. Either way I'm in for there book! I'll be there release day with bells on!

I was given an ARC for an honest review by Jennifer.

WOW I must say I really enjoyed this book much better then Spark. From the beginning to end I could not put this book down.

This is a true love story that I fell in love with and I have not read one quite like this since Wanted by Kelly Elliott. Aiden and Evie are not only lovers but are best friends and a love like what these two have is very hard to find.

I loved the way Jennifer ended this book, it was such a beautiful ending.

You will feel all emotions in this story line and I must say some freaking hot men!!! Jennifer definitely knows how to make your panties wet ;)

I cannot wait for the third book in this series!!!

Complimentary copy given by the author in exchange for an honest review

If you follow my reviews, you will know how much I loved the first book in the series, "Spark", and if that is not the case, you can find my review on my blog.

Whereas I feel that "Spark" was mostly about Eevie's personal journey to becoming her own woman, "Spike" takes it one step further and tells us the love story of Eevie and Aidan and about the hardships they have to go through together in order to find their happy-ever-after. Do not be alarmed, though: there are plenty of sweet, funny and sexy moments as there were in the first book. But let me start at the beginning:

It has been six months since Eevie and Aidan began their romantic relationship and they are still very much in love with each other. That special spark they have always shared is still there, and you can immediately feel their deep connection when you start reading the book. Aidan asks Eevie to move in with him, and she eagerly says yes. They are both ready to take their relationship further, and you would think that their future will be filled with nothing but happiness from now on.
That is not the case, however, and without giving you any spoilers (which I hate), I will just say that I was rather thrown when I found out who the culprit was. And that is all you will get from me on the matter.

I might as well lay the cards on the table right now and let you know that, once again, I loved Eevie and Aidan. Like I stated above, they just have that certain connection that most people long to find in their partners, and their love for one another is evident on every page. Their banter is loveable, sexy and funny, and their deep-seated need to protect each other from heartache and strife is palpable. They are truly soul mates, and Miss Ryder definitely knows how to convey this with her writing.

Eevie is still a feisty, adorable character. But what makes me love her even more now is the fact that she has become a stronger, self-confident woman, and her wanting to protect Aidan shows great character - even though she does go about doing it the wrong way. Nevertheless, I enjoyed seeing how much she has evolved, both on her own but also through her relationship with Aidan, and that is definitely part of the reasons for my high rating of this novel.

Let me say one or two things about Aidan now. Oh my goodness, he is swoon-worthy: cute, alpha, and sexy. I love his naughty side, his sense of humour, and his ability to love unconditionally. I am thrilled that the author gives us his point of view this time because it allows the reader to fully connect with him. His passion for his sport is made clearer in "Spike", but it is also great learning how that it is not all he focuses on. No, he sees Eevie, and he has always known, purely by instinct, that she is the woman made for him. She is it for him, plain and simple, and he is not afraid to show the world that that is how he feels.

I am not trying to paint a picture of two perfect people: they are definitely not infallible. If they were portrayed as such, I would, in all honesty, not like their story. Both Eevie and Aidan make mistakes, but these mistakes are done in order to protect each other. This is why they seem so realistic, and why you can relate to and connect with them completely. They will have to learn to fully trust and depend on each other in order for them to get their happy ending which is also the way it is with real people in the real world.

As with the first installment in the Spark Series, I really like Miss Ryder’s way of telling a story. Her writing is very down-to-earth with just a touch of quirkiness (if that is even a word?), the pace of the story is perfect, with plenty of steamy, yet tasteful, scenes that left me blushing more than once. Last, there is no question about the fact that she feels very strongly for her characters. I also really love her introducing us to some new secondary characters: a very sexy police detective – Ryan – and a teammate of Aidan’s – Jones. These men…? Well, you just know that they hold many secrets and that what you see is not what you will get - at least not completely. I believe Miss Ryder will be releasing their stories later this year, and I just know that they will be very interesting and…how should I put it…? The only words coming to mind at the moment are naughty ones so I better watch my tongue. Suffice it to say, I am awaiting their stories with bated breath!

I do not feel that I can write that much more without giving too much of the story away. The suspense element works really well, in my opinion, and you are in for quite a wild ride when you read the book. The range of emotions is wide: funny, romantic, painful, passionate…I could go on and on, but I choose not to. All I will leave you with is this: if you loved “Spark”, you will adore “Spike”!

Evie may have found her perfect book boyfriend in real life, in the form of Aidan Stone but there was always something missing from their story. I wanted the happily ever after story for them, the whole nine yards with them. Spark was mainly Evie’s story about her past and her wanting to find the spark and going on the journey to find it. At the same time it was about them finding their way to be together despite all the obstacles in their way. However there was always something missing from Aiden’s story. Evie drove the story in the Spark and I wanted to know more about Aidan before he entered Evie’s life and more about his MX life. We got glimpses of it with Jones but I wanted to know more about the racing and the lifestyle that comes with it.

Well Strike is the answer to those questions that I had about Aidan and the future of this couple. After Spark I thought they had gone through it all but Strike opened up to whole new situation. Evie and Adian maybe in a happy place and about to enter the next step of their relationship until the past comes backs to haunt them. They already had been through so much with Evie , so this new development through me for a loop.

After all they been through I wasn’t sure what this new development would bring as , I understood their relationship and what they mean to each other. Aidan was willing to stand up and protect Evie at any cost as he truly loved her. However as I ponder over this , I realised where the author was going with this. We know how much Aidan was willing to go to protect her but you have to wonder with this new development. How much is Evie willing to go to protect Aidan and put herself out of the way to protect Aidan like he did for her.

It is a interesting premise and Spike as a result is a romance suspense novel that has all the romance from Spark take up a notch along with the relationship we have to come to love but the tables are turned. Now Evie it is turn to play the protector and do what every she needs to . It has come full circle, Evie has now the power to stand and take charge but she can’t handle it all on her own.

Evie knows she can trust her friends and we see the return of some old familiar faces who there as friends in the last book and willing once again to help. So when she turns to her old friend Cassie, she introduces her to Special Constable Ryan Clark who knows exactly what she up against. You don’t seem to care that he knows how to solve the blackmail and extortion attempt. You want him all for yourself long with Jones, as these guys seemed to intrigue you, especially when we get their POV’s. We are fortunate to get a peek into their minds and along with Evie and Aidan and I’m definitely excited where this series is going and the new characters that we can swoon over.

Spike was a fitting conclusion to Evie and Aidan part of the series, whilst this is not saying goodbye to them. We do get the HEA from them that we have been hoping from and enjoyable story that takes it to a new level. Spark might been the sweet story about finding the spark you seek but Spike is a page turning a thriller .

5 couples.

The end of the first book in the series "Spark" ended with a big fat cliffhanger so when I got my hands on "Spike" there was no way I was going to wait around to get stuck in!

So Eevie and Aidan were in a good place, everything in their cute little life was going perfectly until Aidan's past came along to stir up trouble. Damn, I just knew it wouldn't last!

The majority of the story continued with a bucket load of drama and with twists and turns I never saw coming. Eevie and Aidan's future together was at risk and I found myself wandering a whole lot of why's and how's, my brain working overtime with all of the second guessing I was doing. Surprisingly it was Eevie who was paying the price of her boyfriends past, finding herself in the middle of a blackmail plot. What an earth would she do next?
When times get tough, you do anything to protect the ones you love, and I love Aidan with every piece of my heart.
I felt Eevie dealt with the blackmail completely the wrong way and I was certain she was just making everything ten time's worse. My gut was telling me something bad was about to happen so thank god for Detective Ryan Clarke who came to save the day. OK so that might have been his initial intention but it was quite clear that he wanted to do more than just help Eevie. I just love a strong alpha man that comes over all possessive and that's exactly what happened with Aiden. He wasn't about to let someone muscle in on his lady!!!
"We're gonna fight this thing to the end. It's you and me. I can't do this any other way. Not without you."

I didn't think Aidan had anything to worry about where Eevie's feelings were considered. She was well and truly head over heels in love with her man. This couple had been through so much together and thankfully once they worked together to face Aiden's past, they came out stronger.

I was very much relieved when things began to slow down for Eevie and Aiden. This pair really did love one another and I adored the tender moments that they shared. Although in this part of the story the pace began to slow down I was extremely happy with how everything turned out.
"I thought I needed a bike to be able to fly, but I've never flown higher than when I'm with you. With you is my favorite place to be. Im gonna spend the rest of my life making you laugh, making you smile, and no matter what comes our way, we'll take it on together."

I loved Eevie and Aiden as a couple and the ending of this book couldn't have been a more perfect for the couple.

In the story we also got to meet "Jones" who was Aiden's team mate. Jones was a bit of a player, their was an extremely sexy scene that he shared with Ryan and another girl that made me blush. The third book in the series is all about Jones so I am expecting a seriously hot book!

Spike gets 4 happy ever after hearts from me.

The wait and anticipation for this book was worth every minute!!! This book was awesome from start to finish and ticks every box.

Drama.

Tension.

Twists and Turns.

Tears.

Laughter.

Steamy H.O.T 'have to fan myself' Sex scenes

2 new delicious characters

and off course

AIDAN STONE!!!

Maybe even a H.E.A for Aidan and Eevie. But my lips are sealed on that score. You'll have to pick up a copy and find out for yourself just to be sure!!!

Spike picks up where Spark ended, so If you havent read it yet I highly recommend you do before reading any further!!!

Aidan and Eevie are going strong as ever!!
Eevie is back at university studying hard to finish her degree while juggling work.
Aidan is working and training hard for the Motocross Championship having finally secured a team and sponsors. In fact he's making quite a name for himself.
Aidan and Eevie finally move in together :D

Things are running smoothly for the two lovebirds till Aidan's father comes out of the woodwork, Aidan's past colliding with his present and using Eevie as the target.

Then boy does it heat up a notch. Brace yourself for Drama. Blackmail. Lies. Photo's and a tape!
Also be prepared to want to kick Aidan's ass at some stage!! Yes you read ladies Aidan has a douche bag moment!!!

Enter a new character.
Detective Ryan Clark. #DetectiveRyanClark
Cass's brother.
He sounds dreamy and all but he's no Aidan Stone!!!!
He thinks he can save the day and win Eevie over. What is he thinking lol. He couldn't have been more wrong. Eevie is devoted 110% to Aidan!!

Jennifer Ryder has done it again.
Made me fall in love with Aidan Stone all over again. In this book we're shown just how human he really is. He makes mistakes and does his utmost to fix them.
Actions speak louder then words!!!! and his certainly did.

Eevie has shown us exactly why she's the perfect woman for Aidan. She showed (even if she did withhold the truth in the beginning from her man, with a very valid reason) that she was willing to do anything for him, even if it meant paying off blackmailers to keep him safe and protect his reputation from scandal.

The two new characters, Ryan and Jones were funny from the get go. Both arrogant, cocky and full of themselves. Thinking that every female is immune to their charms. I'm surprised they could walk through the door with the size of their ego's!!! LOL
I'm looking forward to reading their stories. It's going to take someone very special to tame them and downsize their ego's that's for sure!!!

So go an get your hands on this awesome book and series if you haven't read Spark yet!! You wont be disappointed, I promise

5 out 0f 5 absolutely in love with this book hearts

Thanx Jennifer for an amazing book, counting down the time till the next one with hopefully some more Eevie and Aidan and all these awesome characters!!!

**ARC provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.**

I was introduced to the Spark series just a few months ago when I met Jennifer at Indie Author’s Down Under on the Gold Coast. She was absolutely lovely and I very much enjoyed talking to her and getting to know her; I just knew that I had to read her book once my flight touched back down in Melbourne that night. I instantly fell in love with her debut novel, Spark, to the point that my signed copy has pride of place in my Book Corner with all my other favourite books. I have been anticipating the release of Spike ever since and I was blown-away with the incredible story that Jennifer has published.

In the first novel, we watch the relationship between Eevie and Aidan flourish into this all-consuming love that has its fair share of hard-ships along the way. This time around, Jennifer has pulled out the big guns to give us a jam-packed story that is in-your-face awesome and impossible to put down. Spark ended on a cliff-hanger and I expected a completely different continuation than what was revealed in Spike. The direction that Jennifer took this story is beyond anything I could have hoped for and so much more.

This time we don’t just get motocross, Aidan and romance; the story also encompasses elements of a Thriller and we get to meet the illustrious Detective Ryan Clark. From Spark to Spike, we’ve watch these characters develop into the incredible people that they are today. It has been inspiring to witness the journey that Eevie has taken from this fragile and weak girl, and into a strong and independent woman. Can she be strong enough for herself and Aidan when a new threat comes to town? Will she do it alone or ask Aidan for help?

The best bit about reading an Australian novel, is actually being able to picture the places that the events in the book take place. From where I grew up just outside of Campbelltown to the hundreds of times I’ve stopped at the very same McDonalds at Yass on a Sydney-to-Melbourne drive, it just made me feel all-the-more connected and a part of this story. Australian authors in the Indie world are really starting to shine in the industry and I believe that Jennifer is just one of these fine examples.

I honestly think that this book has cemented the fact the Jennifer is doing exactly what she should be doing; not just in her career but in the way that she executes these amazing novels. I was left exhilarated and wanting more by the very last page. The story, the characters, the details, the emotions – it all leads to this intriguing and addictive book. I cannot wait to see what Jennifer does next with these characters and in her future endeavours. I will be sure to follow her career far into the future.

I had the absolute pleasure of beta reading for Jennifer Ryder, I get to see this world she's created and watch as it grows and develops, these characters that I'm so deeply invested in. In a Spark we see Eevie and Aidan overcome the walls they've built around themselves to be together, we've seen them go through heartache to find one another and they are strong, united.

In Spike we find Eevie and Aidan together, happy, continuing to carve out a life together but what happens when the past comes back to haunt you? What happens when secrets and lies force you to reexamine your relationship? All you can hope is that it's as strong as you thought it was.

Spike is part romance and part thriller, we get Aidan and Eevie's smoking hot chemistry, panty melting sex scenes and casual relaxed banter, but what stood out for me was that while Aidan was definitely the hero of Spark, Eevie is the hero of Spike, she is strong, she is determined, she is willing to do what it takes to be the protector. Eevie's transformation from the girl who felt weak in Spark to the woman she becomes in Spike was inspired. The Eevie we see is brave enough to ask for help when Aidan past comes back to hurt them and strong enough to hold them together to weather the storm that rages around them.

With the introduction of Detective Special Constable Ryan Clark (who may just be my newest bookboyfriend) and the return of old friends Cassie, Rob and Jones, Ryder rounds out Spike perfectly, leaving you wanting to know more, not just about where Eevie and Aidan's lives take them next, but where these old friends will lead you too. I'm left wanting, waiting to spend time with these characters all over again and I can't wait to see where she takes me next.

Writing a debut that draws you in and gets you hooked is an accomplishment but following up with something that holds you captive where you don't want it to end is spectacular - congratulations Jennifer on a stunning continuation of Eevie and Aidan's story, I can't wait to see what you do next.

I was so excited when I received my copy of Spike. I absolutely loved Aiden in Jennifer Ryder's first book, Spark, and was in desperate need of some more. I named Aiden my number one book boyfriend ever when I read Spark and let me tell you - Miss Ryder did not disappoint. In fact she gives us two more hotties in Spike. We meet super sexy Detective Ryan and another Mr Motocross, Jones. What we get of these two is a delicious taste and I am looking forward to reading more of these two and their antics.

Spike starts up pretty much from where Spark finishes and is every bit as fantabulous as Spark. Aiden and Eevie are such a well rounded couple and their love story is simply beautiful with some twists and turns along the way. In Spike there is some evil lurking that is threatening the foundation of this relationship and Eevie finds herself caught in a web with no apparent way out.

Jennifer Ryder is a talented author who has an ability to create a bit of drama and intrigue while building her characters and their relationship. She throws us a couple of little twists along the way and leaves you panting for more. Her secondary characters are just as good (as mentioned above) and I can't wait to see where she takes these guys next. She also does sexy very, very well. Be prepared for a lot more sexy times in this book.

It is easy to get immersed in her writing and feel as though these guys are you best mates. I sobbed some happy tears along the way and at one point decided I was no longer 'talking to' sexy detective Ryan. Yep crazy but that is how close you become to these characters. All in all I am excited for the next three books in this series and have no doubt you will fall in love with Aiden and Eevie and the rest of the crew.

Aidan and Eevie are living together as a temporary thing until she is better after her near rape. They are getting closer and Aidan really enjoys having her there. She likes it at Aidan's also but it can be difficult sometimes studying. Everything was going good until one day Eevie went back to her apartment to check in. There she found a note from Aidan's ex girlfriend. Eevie didn't think anything of it and never contacted her until she called Aidan's phone one day. Then things took a turn that almost was devastating.

Eevie started getting blackmail phone calls shortly there after. She never told Aidan or anybody else. That is until it got to be to much for her. She had to tell someone so she told the one person who she could trust, Cassie. Once she did that things almost started to looking up for her. She was finally going to be able to end the blackmail.

After the blackmailing was over everybody went back to being normal. Eevie was working and studying, Aidan was working and racing. He was getting better on the racing series. So his team signed up for a 12 hour relay charity deal. He was the first in the relay. He was going good on the track until he came upon a stalled rider. He ended up having an accident in which would change his racing status. But while he recovered he did a lot of thinking.

What did Aidan think about while recovering? Who was behind the blackmail? What happen to Aidan's racing status? What was in the future for Aidan and Eevie?

I would recommend this to my friends.

Spike by Jennifer Ryder. DID. NOT. DISAPPOINT. If I could run ramped around the world and recommend a series to fall in love with it would definitely be this one. Aidan Stone captured our hearts in Spark and diving into Spike, I was all sorts of excited. One thing, I love about Jennifer’s writing is the heart and emotion that steams from the inner narrative of the characters. Reading Eevie and Aidan from the very beginning was a treasure. The raw emotion, the flaws and the dynamic created ensures that readers will be all hot and bothered, emotional and down right happy to fall in love with Aidan Stone.

I love motorcycles riders now. (Yes, because of Jennifer.) The heartbreak, the emotion and the love of the narrative brings great joy when reading. It is absolutely a work of art with dealing with the past, living in the moment and looking forward to the future. I am a little bit jealous of Eevie (and hey she’s fictional) because we all need someone like Aidan Stone. The novel wasn’t without it’s challenges with the introduction of Detective Ryan, and he is all sorts of swoon worthy too. Aidan still owns the heart though. Spike was pure love and heart within the written extraordinary mind of Jennifer Ryder. In this series, the ability to grow, to love, to cherish and to heal is beautiful. I would recommend reading Spike to anyone. A piece full of heart, raw emotion and a world that when all else crumbles two people stand combined.

I really enjoyed Book 1 Spark so when I got the chance to get a copy of SPIKE to review I jumped at the chance.Jennifer Ryder did not disappoint and I can recommend the Series.

Eevie and Aidan are a couple, happy, and building a life together but things start to get a bit complicated, and Eevie now has to deal with Blackmail threats when she should be enjoying moving in with the love of her life. But she doesn't give in, she is willing to fight for her man. I liked how Eevie has grown and become stronger, shes not the Bookworm she used to be. Eevies best friend comes to the rescue in a way - her brother Ryan is a Detective and he finds out that the Blackmailer who is targeting Eevie and Aidan is a POI, (Person of Interest) to the police. Throw in some drama in the team that is sponsoring Aidan in the Motocross circuit and you have yourself a great entertaining read.

Ms Ryder has given Eevie and Aidan their HEA - they have to fight for it but they get there in the end, and then at the end she finishes the book off by teasing us with what will come next... and boy I reckon that is going to be a bit of a steamy read!

Detective Ryan is certainly a Book Boyfriend to keep an eye on - and Mmm Jones... I have my doubts about this cocky biker, but who knows where he will end up... I guess its in the hands of Jennifer Ryder, and I for one will be stalking her until she gives us book 3 in the series.

I was provided a copy of this book by the Author for an honest review.

WOW I just finish reading this book, and I love it, love the characters, and love how the book turn out to be, I read the first book and love it, but now I don't know which one I love more, this book have a little of Secrets, lies, suspense, I couldn't put the book down, I am gone keep this short since I don't want to give anything away.

The story begging with Eevie, she is waiting for Aiden to show up, after two weeks of not seen each other, cause Eevie was studying and Aiden busy with motor cross, they finally gone see each other, that's the day that Aiden ask her to move in with him, and she accepted, the next day after her and Aiden catching up she meets up with her friend Christal, meet up for coffee they get to talk, that's when she hand Eevie her mail, that's when she sees that she received another mail, from Aiden past, after that things start to happened and she start to have doubt about their relationship, would the love that they have for each other will be stronger than their past. would they survive what life would throw their way.

I really love and enjoy reading this book, I love how you could feel how much Aiden and Eevie love each other. And love it even more how they are always their for each other, Author Jennifer Ryder THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS AWESOME SERIES, love them.

Before I start let me just say Spike is a continuation from Spark which I highly recommend to read before reading Spike as Eevie and Aidan's journey began in Spark.

Aidan is a juicy mx boy and with fame now building on his doorstep he starts to find out that it brings out the worst in people. Woman and vultures are only the beginning of this amazing book.

With the love of his life by his side and finally being at the top of his game the only thing that can go wrong is the pile of carnage that is not far behind them. And boy do we get that in this book.

There was times when I was sitting on the edge of my seat not certain which way Jennifer was going to take the story. But by god did Jennifer do it justice.

There was drama, blackmail, jealousy, love, lies and even a bit of turmoil thrown into the mix and with the added bonus of a delicious new character.

What is not to love?

My heart melted for Aidan stone he is such a sweetheart. He knew Eevie was the one and he wasn't letting her go. No matter who got in his way.

But at the end of the day can Eeive and Aidan finally get their happily ever after or will desperate people get in their way.

Oh yep and as an added bonus we get a sneak peak at Strike the third book in the series and heck, it's hot as hell.... Yummy.

First of all, I loved the first book in the Spark series, Spark that I had to read it again before I started reading Spike. I also wondering before I started reading Spike how Jennifer Ryder was going to top Spark. Well, she did!
Spark is a very special book. I fell in love with Eevie and Aiden, even though I’m not a motorcross fan. I wondered how Spike was going to play out. When I finished Spark, Eevie and Aiden were finally a couple and very much in love. So I was wondering what was going to happen next in this contemporary romance.
We know that the past has a way of catching up with us even when we thought it was just that…..in the past. In this case, it was Aiden’s past, a past he had no control over. How both he and Eevie deal with his past made this book very hard for me to put down. Do I still love Eevie and Aiden? Yes! I think I love them even more now.
I gave Spike 5 out of 5 stars although I think Spark is my favourite book in the series. After reading a snippet of the next book in the Spark series, I’m looking forward to reading what happens in this one.

Eevie and Aidan are happy and in love as they move forward in their relationship. Eevie is studying hard to finish her degree and Aidan is working and doing extremely well at his racing events. Things seem to be going well until Eevie finds herself the victim of blackmail and extortion and the source turns out to be surprising and something that could cause a lot of tension between Aidan and Eevie as they try to keep each other safe from harm.

The chemistry between Eevie and Aidan is just as hot if not hotter than it was in Spark. The sources of danger in this story are complex, but it is good to see them finally handle things in the right way. The emotional connection between Aidan and Eevie continues to strengthen and it was rewarding to see them both getting what they deserve out of a relationship despite the challenges they face. We meet some interesting new characters in this book and I am looking forward to seeing where things go with them. 3.5 stars

But than out of the blue Aiden's ex grilfriend is trying to get in contact with her why does she want him back, Eive ignores the ex until one day she recieves an email what is it where did it come from and how do they seem to know all about her and Aiden.

Aidan and Eevie! I loved them in Spark. I couldn't get enough. I was so excited to get my hands on Spike. Ryder did not disappoint. Spike is every bit as good as Spark, if not better. Ryder stays true to her characters which I love. Yes there are twist and turns, but the characters never stray from who they are. I love it.

Ryder's secondary characters are equally as intriguing and good as her leads. I can not wait to see where this series takes us; and where these secondary characters step into the leading roles in future books. I was extremely happy with the ending of this book. It was a great ending for a couple you love. Aidan is still one of my top book boyfriends. I love that this book gives him a little competition in his eyes. Just a great read!

Spike ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I received an ARC by the Author for an honest review.
#2 in the Spark series was everything I was hoping for, I absolutely love Aidan Stone and Eevie. Aidan continues to kick butt at motor cross and Eevie is proud of his accomplishments and supports his career. Eevie is happy, her life is moving along and she has the most beautiful man to share it with. Then in walks Cassie's brother Detective Ryan Clark, yummy, Eevie finally reaches out for help that is very much needed. I am so excited about what happens in this instalment of the series, I don't do spoilers but their HEA and what is yet to come, is very exciting.

This is the second book of Eevie and Aidan.

I like how the author had both POV's in this book. Aidan's past comes in to play in this book. And there is a lot going on. There is his ex that comes into the story. His biological father comes into play as well. There is drama around every turn. You see how Aidan and Eevie stand by each other through it all. Eevie is such a strong character and what she goes through in this book show just that. You also meet some other characters in this book that will hopefully be in the following.
I found this book to be an easy read. Once I started I couldn't put it down. I love the way to ended also. I would recommend this book to anyone.

I was given this book for an honest review. I have to say I was completely impressed by this book. This is the second book I have reviewed for this author Spark being the first one. I enjoyed the first one but nowhere near as much as I enjoyed this book. With the first book I felt as though the story didn't really start until halfway through the story. This one blew my mind away. In this book I could feel as though the author had really improved in this second book
Once I picked this book I had a really hard time putting it down. I fell in love with the characters all over again. I love Aiden and Eevie you could just feel the love they have for each other pouring off the pages.

Wow!!! This book was so incredible. I didn't want to put it down. Seeing Aidan and Eevie go through so many heart wrenching things and it only cemented their love for each other. The continuation of their story was wonderful. I shed so many tears, I laughed, I fell in love with them both. I loved their HEA. What a romantic, caring person Aidan Stone is. This book will really tug at your emotions. I think this is my favourite book in this series. Am sure you will love it too. Add it to your TBR list!!! Aidan Stone will certainly be added high up in my BBF list!!!

Another success for Ms Ryder...Spike was even better than Spark as the action got hotter, both in and out of the sheets, or shower, or floor...you get the picture! Awesome new characters really helped, and really loved the wedding at the end - the under-the-table shenanigans, not the ceremony! Bring on Spark 3.
