Rate this book
Tharin and Lily find themselves back in Pathen in search of Julia and the key to Eirrell, but old foes and new ones are in close pursuit. Adding to their plight, all doorways to Velesi have been closed. Forced to discover a way back to their realm, the group finds help from new friends and those who once stood against them are now allies. To make matters worse, a betrayal causes the door to the UnderRealm to open, allowing demons and monsters once imprisoned to roam the realm freely. Time is of the essence as there are only two Ancients left while Ka grows weaker, struggling to hold the realm together. It is up to Tharin and Lily to find the doorway to Eirrell, call the Unnamed Sidhe and save Velesi. Journey back to Velesi and join Tharin, Lily, Tolan, Julia, Alorn, Mellis, Ziri and Cessa to save the realm and maybe have a wedding...or two, but then again, it is Velesi...so maybe not.

I had mixed emotions writing this final installment to The Velesi Trilogy, a very bittersweet journey. Although Tharin and Lily's story ends here, there are so many more from Velesi. Some of the characters will start their own journey and tell their own stories. There will be new characters from the Sidhe realm who will emerge and create their own adventures. And we may even find Tharin and Lily honoring us with a cameo. They will always be the closest to my heart. After all, it was their story that started it all.

I want to thank you all for the support by purchasing the Velesi books and making it a part of your world, even for a "blink of an eye" in your lifetime. I especially want to thank those who took the time to leave a review on Amazon and/or Goodreads. No matter the ranking, I am grateful for your time. Without your encouragement and constructive criticism I would not have had the courage to continue writing and complete the trilogy.

Tomorrow, when The Whispering is released (07-27-13), I wish you joy, laughter, sorrow, anger, despair and love. Whatever the emotion, I want you to feel as you read the final installment. And remember, no matter where you are and what time of day you read The Whispering, we all have shared a moment in Velesi and we all have loved the same cat.

Enjoy!

Until next time, good reading to all.

*Not a spoiler free review*
I was able to give this three stars for a few reasons:
1) "I don't want to die a virgin."
2) Tharin 'cause he's perfect.
3) Cessa. Pretty self-explanatory
4) Tolan because wow I love him too.

But... I guess this series overall was a letdown. I loved the first book A LOT, but I never suspected that I would grow to dislike Lily so much. She had her moments, but book two started my rapidly growing dislike for her character and she never quite recovered in book 3. She was too whiny, often times too self-centered, and yeah-- she just complained! About everything!

AND THERE WAS NO SEX SCENE WITH THARIN AND LILY :( !!!

But anyway back to the complaining--

Like ruining Tharin's wedding gift by whining about how her life has escaped her? Whining about having to marry him even though they're so obviously in love with each other? Whining about how she had dreams of living the cliche "normal life" and going to college and having a boyfriend and getting engaged? WHICH, by the way, was absolutely ridiculous considering not months ago she discovered this GORGEOUS brand-new world with magic and mystical creatures (and their own set of universities)? So... show of hands: Who would be whining about getting to escape the "human world" college system to be immersed in an exciting world like Velesi? GOODNESS LILY JUST STOP, ALREADY. Practically all the way through just WHINE WHINE WHINE. Whining about Thorin and Kalis. Whining about this. Whining about that. Whining about having to marry this guy she fell in love with THE HORROR OF IT ALL. I mean AT LEAST you weren't going to be stuck marrying someone you DID NOT love, right? Geez, Lily, seriously shut up. Quit being selfish. Her marriage to Tharin secured the lives of everyone in Velesi and she's ruining the wedding AND Tharin's wedding gift complaining about her life.

Yeah. If I liked Lily better, this series would have been better. But I couldn't STAND the heroine 95% of the time.

And I'm still bitter about not getting a Tharin / Lily sex scene that has been teased about ever since book 2. :c

I almost died (of great joy) when the author emailed me an advanced copy of "The Whispering." I dropped EVERYTHING on the to-do list and slipped into the Velesi Realm to drool over Tharin(and Lily)'s journey. Needless to say that as a result, I earned the worst-mother/wife-of-the-year title, all in one day!

"The Whispering" picks up where "The Drifting" left us hanging- with Lily gone and Tharin pissed! Lily is back in Pathen trying to locate Julia and Marilyn. Alorn finds and journeys with her and consequently, their friendship grows into one of mutual respect and love. The inexorable connection between Alorn and Lily is so endearing, that even Tharin gets a little uneasy.

Lily's character definitely got a kick-ass upgrade with her super-healing and demon-slaying abilities. She is even MORE stubborn (debatably dumber) and more independent. She is not afraid to take action without waiting for Tharin's approval and stays true to her "voice." I love that Lily doesn't throw the "L" word loosely (and you'll see Tharin's struggle as a result of this), and am pleased that the author placed "bumps on the road" to keep Tharin & Lily's relationship interesting.

Tharin on the other hand, I found a little annoying and very typically male (too stubborn to apologize, instead of proclaiming his love- he gives the cold shoulder, blah blah)! However, not so typical in the fact that he doesn't lose any of his "hotness" factor, and is uxorious at times.(Like that kind of man only exists in YA fiction;).

The story is engaging from the beginning till the end! There are so many twists and turns, and moments when you will fall off your seat out of laughter, or hold on to your seat in a dither! I admit, I was truly hoping for an epically disappointing ending where "girl & boy love each other (but too stubborn to admit) so they end up with someone else"-- however, the author's nice! That didn't happen. Instead, Filloon gave us a powerful (happy) ending and a reason to stalk her and beg her to write more books!

That was my reaction when I read an email from L.Fillon saying that I was going to get a gift of The Whispering. I mean let's face it you would have that reaction too if you spent months waiting for this book especially after the ending of the last book. Okay that little note aside THE WHISPERING WAS AMAZING!!!!!!
I wanted to laugh, cry, hit someone, hug someone, strangle someone and then feed them to coyotes, throw the book across the room and then run after it screaming... okay I should stop now you can all see that this book was a roller-coaster of emotions and events.
Picking up where The Drifting left off and ending at the very last pages there is nonstop action and drama. Things are revealed that will make your jaw drop. Lily was so much more kickass in this book I wanted to hug the girl. She does make some dumb decisions ** insert faceplam here** but her choices and actions can be argued as done out of love for her family. Other than that Lily was amazing.
Speaking of amazing, Tharin, who do I have to pay to get myself one of him? He was so protective and perfect and HOT I mean boy, keep a fan by yourself while reading this book this man will set your heart on fire!!!!! Granted he did have his " Me man you my woman, you do what me say!!!!" moments but he knew how much was at stake if Lily kept on taking risks like that. So all is forgiven for my beloved Tharin.
The supporting characters were so lovable and they will stay with me for a while especially Cessa( there is a little surprise with her too.) Julia and Tolan have one of the most confusing relationships ever but I do love them as a couple. Alorn and Mellis and Ka and literally everyone else in the book played their role perfectly and I have one thing left to say. WHY IS IT OVER!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I really liked the story, and I’d like to give it a 4.2 or 4.3 rating like the other reviewers. Unfortunately, once again, the tremendous number of errors brought the rating down to around a 3.5.

Plot:
The Whispering begins with Lily trying to find Julia, who has the key to Eirrel, in Australia. The group is soon reunited and together, they work together to return to Velesi and fulfill the prophecy. Their trip is not an easy one. Lily and Julia are at odds with Tharin and Tolan. Harlu and the Ange are in pursuit. Anyone they come across could actually be Kolinest in disguise. And, in addition to not knowing who to trust, the characters must face a number of new threats, including witches, trolls, demons and orcs.

Characters:
Filloon did a great job of allowing Lily to grow stronger and more powerful while maintaining the emotional aspects of the character that keep her human. She’s probably one of the better YA heroines I’ve read. To the contrary, Tharin, while maintaining his power, continues to soften. These changes, combined with the level of trust they have developed in each other, really make them a great couple.

Tolan and Julia finally discuss the causes of the tension in their relationship and come to a resolution. While Tolan almost fades into the background a little bit, Julia really begins to stand out in this book. She is strong, caring, funny, and vulnerable and would make just as good a heroine as she does a sidekick.

Mellis continues to provide the comic relief, even though he, Alorn and Ziri have to step up their games in Phoris’ absence. We do learn a secret about Alorn, and while it may upset some readers, I thought it humanized him and emphasized his dedication to Tharin.

The book introduces several new characters, some friend and some foe, and two traitors are revealed. We also find out the true intentions of Kolinest and his crew and once again, as the main antagonist, Harlu is shockingly, yet ironically entertainingly, creepy.

Writing:
The tenses switched around frequently, there were typos, missing punctuation, structural issues, and – perhaps worst of all – even the names of some of the main characters were misspelled. There were several glaring errors on just about every page.

The Bottom Line:
Once again, the story is full of romance, heartbreak, tragedy, and humor. It’s hard to combine all of those things while maintaining the integrity of the plot, but Filloon is able to do that. The final book tied up everything quite nicely so that almost … ALMOST … everyone will be happy. What kind of strikes me as odd is that in most books, There are times that I almost felt that the conflicts that occurred didn’t last long enough. Ironically, More often than not, I was glad they didn’t I can’t stand waiting to find out what’s going to happen next. The book did end a little abruptly for my taste, but the last chapter, a sort of an epilogue, provides some closure for the readers.

All in all, this was a pretty good series. Yes, the writing could have been better … MUCH better. Some of the events got a little too fantastical and bizarre, but I assume that if you are reading the series at all, you are willing to suspend some level of disbelief. I’d recommend the Velesi Trilogy for anyone who’s looking for a fun, magical, romantic, suspenseful read.

Imagine my confusion after getting the email that this new book had been released and then finally finishing it to realise that I had not read the second one. In my defence, it has been awhile since I read "The Binding" and as I read so many books these days I just assumed I had read "The Drifting" but I could still follow the story though I was a bit confused in places as I thought I had forgotten some things. Now I will just have to go back and read it because I want to fill in the gaps lol. This seemed like a fitting end to the series, Lilly grew into her powers and seemed to be stronger in this book. She took a stand when she needed to and was slowly relaxing into her relationship with Tharin though it was not without its challenges. They complemented each other yet Lily did not always give in to his caveman attitude but she brought out a softer side of him which was engaging. I did empathise with Alorn and wished he could have gotten his heart's desire but I felt that the author dealt with this development in a way that showed the friendship and loyalty of those concerned. A great support cast of characters and although the battle scene was not as epic as I had hoped for, it was a fitting conclusion to a great series. Hopefully down the track we may get a peek into another story that will pursue Alorn's HEA and a follow up to Julia and Tolan's commitment to each other.

Very nice ending to this trilogy! Two thumbs up! However, I would have liked for Lily to have gotten more out of her union to Tharin, and a formal proposal before the actual ceremony, not afterwards, lol. Everything was wrapped very nicely, though I was still a bit confused at who was actually Lily & Harlu's bio dad. Loved that Cessa got a little present at the end. Some scenes def made me teary and others super mad, but I enjoyed every second of it! There were some minor grammatical errors and typos, but it didn't deter from the experience of the journey as a whole. I look forward to reading more from this author and about other characters. =)

3.5 stars; I rounded up. The ending was cute for the most part, but I felt bad for Alorn... The dude loved her...and she didn't even know it... I really liked Alorn! And Mellis, or course. But the twins had their happy ending and all. Overall, it was an okay series. Got better as it went.

I have mixed feelings about this trilogy. On one hand, I loved the storyline but I also feel a bit disappointed in the heroine. It was hard to truly love a series that made the heroine so impulsively idiotic in her decision making. She was strong when it came to her powers as a elf but so very stupid as a woman. I feel a bit like her strength as a character was sacrificed for the storyline. It's ok to highlight a woman's vulnerabilities for a more interesting story like with her trust issues and how she overcame them but to completely disregard his kissing Kalis and really that whole little love triangle. Or the fact that she had to let herself get hit in the face for her friend to feel empowered. Or the fact that she thought it was smart to shoot an bow she had no experience with in a battle and to argue with him during said battle was dangerous and idiotic. She was a healer and not a warrior and her poor decision-making skills cause a lot of the trouble which in turn created the storyline. It all just didn't really sit right with me. The Chronicles of Kaya series is a perfect example of walking that line of creating an imperfect heroine that is strong not because of her powers but an inner strength. A heroine that acknowledges her shortcomings and finds a way to overcome them. That's a character we can all see ourselves in but no one is entertained by a weak woman...only disappointed.

This drove me up the wall and made me so happy, and it's sad that it's done, but the ending was so good that it's more bittersweet for me.

Just like its other books, so much happens. You get a whole bunch of action and misunderstandings and drama. I loved the supporting characters, every single one of them. Lily and Tharin... what can I say. They're strong personalities who make it work. This time it was Tharin's side I was on when Lily just didn't get the hint.

Small things annoyed me, like reading that the bad guys' target is Lily, then Tharin, then really Talon. By the time Julia's demons from the past show up, I'm just like, "And this is where we find out that their target is really Julia, who in turn will get them Lily, who has been their target all along." I blew my own mind when that chapter came to pass. :P Another thing that kinda rubbed me the wrong way was the sudden information popping up after something major happens. If something happens to the characters, a back story comes up to explain it. If something major happens that is a huge part of the climax, a back story comes up- it really overwhelmed me. But I kinda liked it. o.o So either random popups occurred or it's just been a really long time since I read the other two books.

I recommend this series so much. It'll tempt you to throw it across the room, make you cry, and laugh at the silliest, most hilarious situations that come to pass. I mean, come on, that thing with Ziri? Really? Really? XD

Take precaution: have tissue nearby, drink lots of water, isolate yourself, and pad your Kindle- or use someone else's, both ways save your Kindle from bodily harm -and enjoy the read. :)

Damn! I love this series. I'm drawn to the characters, the story, the setting and yes, there were some parts that were confusing or could have been done better, but I still love the trilogy and found the 3rd book to be just as good as the first 2.

Lilly comes to her own in this book, discovers her inner strength and becomes adept at using the powers bestowed on her. Her relationship with Tharin has stabilized but there is still some misunderstandings that could have been avoided. I attribute it to young love and the fact that Lily has never been in a relationship before whereas Tharin has always had girls throwing themselves at his feet so he doesn't understand Lilly's need for independence and choices. He wants to be her protector at all times but although he has the best intentions, it's just not possible and he needs to let go a little. Lilly goes through a period of "is this what I want, I can't believe I wasn't asked!" and although I wanted to slap her for it, I understood why she was upset. I just wished she handled it a little better. Again, I attribute it to her inexperience around the opposite sex but she should have communicated her feelings to Tharin in a different way as she came off a bit immature. I still love her though so I don't mind a few flaws!

Barring all that, it was still an excellent end to the series, filled with adventure and twists and some humor. I'm not going to spoil the ending for anyone but I was happy and it left me fulfilled. In the end, the author alludes to a new adventure with Mellis and Allorn and seeing how they are my favorite characters, I'll be anxiously awaiting to see if their is a spin off series about the hot elf cousins!

Going back to this series for me I took too long I'm sure to get back to Velesi mainly because I know this is the last in this trilogy and I loved the characters so much that I wanted to stay with them longer. When we left our friends, cause let's face it by this point they remind me of friends in a weird magical way Lily had left to find Julia after having her heart broken by Tharin finding him in a compromising position. Tolan and Tharin went chasing after Lily to find out what happened and explain his situation to her.

Out in the world Lily is faced with some severe issues like the Ange after her. Threating to hurt anyone she cares about it. Lily gets to Julia just in time before "the bad guys" get her. Not long after that the group is reunited and they set out to get back to Velesi with some minor complications to work through.

Julia has her issues with things she has been told about Tolan which takes some working out between the two of them. Lily has more issues with Tharian's situation and has trouble with his reasoning. Meanwhile something is trying to keep the gang out of Velesi which makes them more determined to get into Velesi to see how bad it is there.

There is also the big battle to save Velesi in the end, good versus evil and of course who will come on top I was pleased with and I loved how it wrapped things up I just wish there was more to read about with this trilogy so it's bittersweet and I will miss all the characters from these books. Such a great story definitely worth reading again and again!

Great finale to the Velesi Trilogy!! All the loose ends were wrapped up, almost everyone got their HEA, and the land has been saved. There is love discovered, there are betrayals, new characters (loved Minuk the troll), and the loss of a few friends. I love the set up at the end to carry on with stories involving some of the other characters from the book; it left me excited for more.

If it's been a while since you read the last book in the series, you will want to go back and re-read it first. I tried to jump into this one after several months ago reading the last book and was way confused.

Filloon does a fantastic job with her world building and character development. The story begins back in Pathens (our world) with Lily trying to find Julia and the key. Immediately there is action as she and the Princes of Velesi dodge their enemies, find her friend, and make their way back to Velesi to save their world. The action was great and original. The relationship between LIly and Tharin continues to develop. He learns to shed some of his selfishness and arrogance as he realizes how much he loves Lily and she comes to realize that though her dreams of her future have been altered now that she knows who she is as the Queen of Velesi, there is hope and love here in this new unexpected twist in her life. Something she really had to work through to figure out.

Excellent trilogy. I would recommend it for all ages. The romance is clean and the action is not too graphic for younger readers.

So far, everything that has occurred in books one and two has led up to preparing for the prophecy, the battle of Velesi at the doorway to Eirell. I found Lily to be extremely wishy-washy in this book, but if any one of us were in her position I believe we would all be just a little wishy-washy. Despite her gentleness and vulnerability, Lily is a very strong-willed character and the fact that she has had to learn about a new world, marry a guy she barely knows, and is the center of a prophecy....all without her consent deep down doesn't sit right with her. I definitely know being told what I could and couldn't do would not sit right with me, not by a longshot.

So, with that being said, this book though packed with twists and action, tends to deal with some more angsty feelings, especially between Tharin and Lily. Ultimately, I do enjoy them together, but I do wish we were able to dig a little deeper into their relationship and see some more development; however, the world as they know it may be ending and we don't have time for that.

I have to say, that despite me wanting more Tharing and Lily moments, I did enjoy this conclusion and the series as a whole. The author showed us the world she created and just how lovely it was. It was a great read, and still, my all time favorite line happens in book one, when Lily and Julia see the elves' ears and instantly think they are Vulcan. It's a fantastic line that has me dying everytime the elf ears are even mentioned.

This book was given to me as a gift from the author.
Thank you L! For giving me this amazing book!!

The cover is lovely and it reminds me of jungle. Lol!

This book started where The drifting (book 2) had left off with a cliff hanger. It is really action packed, never a dull moment (I hate books when nothing goes on) and here it was like every character had something to accomplish… and finally the part I was looking forward to Lily-and-Tharin-together!!
That too on speaking and flirting terms!! Yippee!.
Tharin was hot and with a short temper, bossing around and getting overprotecting for Lily whenever she defied him (which was often). I found Lily to be more independent and kickass in this book… always jumping into some trouble, but always coming back to Tharin… that was sweet!!

Julia as always was supportive of Lily and she too was bold and fighting her own battles, not hiding behind Tolan like a damsel in distress. Alorn was a bit surprising, I did not imagine this angle to be included but nonetheless it was good spice.

Am glad I had the opportunity to read this wonderful series, I wish it would continue…But am looking forward to many more books by L.Filloon.

If you are looking for a book with action, romance, fantasy, a hot lead then you need not look far cause this series is for you!
Go grab your copy!!

I really loved this series. I feel so bonded to all the characters. I think my favorite is Alorn. I have a feeling we will get to read more about him. He is so loyal and steadfast, and I just want him to have a story that is all his own. *small spoiler*I remember a post from the author about someone dying(how she cries when writing the death of her characters) and I was afraid that it was going to be him.
I cannot express how much I liked this story, not only was it a good story but it just matched what I like in novels. I don't think I know how to explain it. There are novels that I love, like Shatter Me and are five stars but I felt like this was my novel in a way. The writing was exceptional, the plot fascinating and the world that Filloon creates is beautiful and wondrous. I loved the details and the history.
Everything is brought full circle in the ending. The action was apparent and thriving and I love that about books. There was the right amount of joy and sadness, humor( I laughed out loud several times), and spirit. I love Julia's overcoming of her greatest fear. I love how it stated that if she doesn't face her certain fear that it will haunt her for the rest of her life, and I believe that would have been true.
Job Well Done Filloon.

While I've never been a fan of "elves" (Not even Orlando Bloom in "Lord Of The Rings" did it for me) however the Velesi Trilogy has won me over. I loved the "realness" of Tharin and Tolan along with their cousins, Alorn, Ziri and Mellis. Their diverse personalities and the way they cared for and protected Lily while she made her way to her destined place as Queen of the Velesi realm, was such a wonderful journey! The complexities and stories within stories (i.e.: Julia and her abusive stepfather as well as Alorn and his broken heart) kept me on edge and wondering who would be discovered as the next traitor or lose their life protecting what and who they love. While I felt L. Filloon did a wonderful job building each character and giving them such distinction, I felt a certain connection to Mellis. So when the trilogy ended, I was quite disappointed and actually felt like I was left hanging! I even went so far as to see if there was a planned series with Mellis as the feature character. Crossing fingers that this ISN'T the end and that there is more planned for the elves of Velesi while they explore the human realm of Pathen.

I kept waiting and waiting for Tharin to finaly develp as a character but he never does. He's always the same. He kept pushing Lily into a resigned acceptance to her own destiny in the VERY little time they are together and they save the whole realm. He never even took the time to know her better. She had to tell him- the night of their wedding- about her previous life dreams and then when she was just trying to say she wanted to wait for kids instead of right off the bat, he gets angry at her and storms off.. He's a spoiled brat who has always had his way and is use to forcing those around him into doing what he wants. i did not like him. I think Lily should have ended up with Alorn. HE at least cared about her the whole way. Instead of the forced feeling we get from Tharin (and Lily back to him- they are suppose to love each other so they do. we dont ever see them bonding over something.) And don't even get me started on Tharin almost forcing Lily to do things she wasn't comfortable with- until others stepped in. AARRRGGHH

As final installment of the Veliesi Trilogy, unanswered questions are finally answered. I finally managed to finish the book, and have to say is wasn't let down at all! Since it had been a while since I read the first two books, I went back to read them again. When a book series has enough capability to keep my attention the second time around, it's a testament to how good the series is. The final book starts off with Lily yet again in danger, but this time she is back a
In the human realm without her Prince to help her find Julia, who ran off from the one she loves. once back in Veliesi everything comes to a boiling point. Weather or not everyone is able to pull together to save the realm and their home, well I'll just let you read it to come to that conclusion. I am highly looking forward to a spin off series with the other lovable characters in this series, so please hurry with those!!!!

What a wonderful conclusion to Tharin & Lily's story. I laughed, I cryer and was held at the edge of my seat with worry for all my characters.
Logo, hands off to you and ur amazing creativity. I feel like I have walked in Velesi and experienced the emotions of the beautiful characters thanks to ur genious creativity. This has got to be my new very favorite series.
I'm glad that you'll be writting about our supporting characters because I have to admit to a crush on my funny elf Mellis (love him); I'm hoping to not wait a WHOLE year for one of your new stories.
In conclusion The Whispering does not disappoint. Its a sweet success to a magnificant series that will keep you satisfied from beginning to end with lots of action, romance, adventure.

What a bittersweet goodbye to all the characters of Velesi and Pathen. I've enjoyed everyone in this series and I'm hoping to see more, I mean the author did leave it so we may see other character's story in the future. I am rating this one as 4/5 because I found that there were too many things going on in the book and it felt like the whole story was rushed. I think it would have helped if there was an extra book in the series. I didn't feel as emotionally attached to this one compared to the first 2 books. Some areas were quite confusing that I had to re-read it a second time to figure out what was going on. I also wish there was more emotional angst. It was still an enjoyable read and I will truly miss this series.

*sigh* Why oh why is it over? Once again, I couldn't put the book down. Around 7pm, I remembered that it had finally been published around and stayed up until midnight finishing it. Again, I have no idea what it is about this series that I love so much. I absolutely love all the descriptions of nature and the dryads. Guess I do have a little bit of a Flower Child in me. I enjoyed following Lily and gang back and forth between realms as they struggle to save the realms from complete destruction. The romance in this one was getting a teensy bit irritating, but it was still completely manageable for my tastes. I would definitely recommend this whole series to those who love fantasy and nature.

Through out this book I was happy and sad. As I was getting to the end i put the book down and said i don't want this trilogy to be over. One of my favorite series of ALL TIME. Read all books way to much to be normal. I cried at the end, my mom came up to me and said did somebody die in the book, But nope it was just over. i will always love this series and Mellis of course. Maybe i will reread them for a 5th time in a year or 2.

Spoilers

Stupid Alorn for liking lily and then had to move away because he couldn't take seeing lily and Tharin stupid. And damn Mellis for following him. l. Filloon better right more on these charters!!!!!

Mellis is my boyfriend. I choose him.
Really the only thing I have left to say is I wish Lily had a better answer for Harlu about why she loved Tharin. She just got mad is all. That's not an answer. She didn't even need to say it, I just wanted her to internally realize it.
The world building was pretty great here and there were intricate little details that were all fulfilled and I loved all the characters, they seemed so real.
I always love it when the conclusion talks about their babies. Yay babies.
This was a good, good series. The kind where my husband gets mad because I wouldn't put my kindle down for consecutive days...and nights. (so he had to sleep on the couch because, light.)
