The firefighters are too scared to slid down the pole, and they are supposed to be demonstrating how to put out a fire. Never be too scared to do new things.

Daisy Meadows and her fairies are my childhood. I collected so many in my youth, knowing all the fairies and their importance, and sticking with the two special girls who go to be a part of the magic.
Years ago I had to give my beautiful collection away, now still part of my childhood school where little girls are picking their favourite fairies and playing pretend. It's fun to hear stories from my old teachers telling me how over the years so many students have grabbed these books and fallen in love with the tales of two girls, Jack Frost and the fabulous glittering magic that is the fairies.
On Christmas last year, my sister surprised me with a boxset of these books, but cause you cannot collect these darlings as easily anymore. I was over the moon!
If anyone has a little one who needs a little magic in their life, wants to read and needs a big creation to be hooked on...it is Daisy Meadows!

Rachel and Kirsty must help get the golden helmet back and restore confidence in the local fire brigade before an emergency happens that's not just the classic tale of a cat stuck up a tree, but can they get it back off the goblins in time?

A fun quick read which is magical while teaching children the importance of the jobs fire fighters do.

A standard Rainbow Fairy story. Not one of the worst, it’s a simple story, a bit stupid at times but not offensively bad. My seven year old liked the fact that the girls actually did something to help, not just getting a magic item back.

The book is quite good. It felt a little heavy on backstory and building to the conflict, but it got there. There were some great parts to the book, particularly when the fire truck left the station and when everybody was happy at the end. I won't spoil those parts, but it wraps up well.

Read dozens of these to my daughters. You can finish them in 1-2 days. They’re formulaic but the kids still love them.
