The completionist in me sometimes wins and this was one of these times. Not my jam but it might be the jam for your toast but not my crumpets.

I recommend for those needing a retelling that you think you know the story but it's really just the inspiration for the beginning and not the ending.

This promised to be decent and I could ignore the weird talk of chastity, purity and deflowering (yep, those words are all used rather often in this story), until the problems with consent became to much for me: The protagonist first makes a big deal about standing up for herself when she was portraying this world's version of Snow White in a stage play and that it would be gross to kiss somebody unconscious (she even slaps the dude who portrays the prince, even though he told her before, that they would only pretend to kiss for the play's sake), but then she has no problems kissing and even groping an unconscious and previously severly wounded man... and this scene was even supposed to be the start of the love story between the two. Yeah no, I'm out
