I bought this because my wife wanted to include me in one of her favorite series. Usually I attack a writer, I like to read their books in publication order, because you see the writer’s growth, and the stories get better as they become more familiar with the world and characters, but also more comfortable with their own style of craft.
I like this book because it breaks her books down into publication order or also chronological order. Separating the different series, but then combining them as well and how the books overlap and link the two series together.
I’ve chosen to approach her books in Chronological order for future reviews, at this time I’m also reading “Voyager” volume 3 of the Outlander series, I will start the Lord John Grey series next to bridge into Outlander volume 4.
Highly recommend this for those wanting to know where to begin these established series, when you are late to the bandwagon.
I absolutely loved this series. Was so entranced that could not put the books down. The reader really gives every character their own personality. The history and description of places they went was so wonderful. I went to scotland and I felt like I had steped right into the books. I would thoughly recommend this series . I didn't want the adventure to finish . An excellent read
This book is a must for any Diana Gabaldon fan. It is a useful tool to make sure all her books are read in the correct order. Now that I have entered The Outlander series, I am excited to read all her books!!
This is very helpful to us who know nothing about the series
i am excited to read the series. It sounds very interesting. Can't wait! One of my sister's and her daughter have read many of the books till they got tired and have up on finishing. I am still looking forward to it.
You can get a list from anywhere...not worth turning pgs.
This was comprehensive but I just needed a list of the Outlander series in order. I had started with book 4 in the series because it was available and decided to begin again with Outlander.
I’ve seen list floating around before — but always seem seem a tad confusing. This, though! Definitely recommend for major clarity on the series reading!
Do not buy. Waste of money! Not updated, the chronological order of the books is not correct and you can get the correct information on www.dianagabaldon.com. Really sorry that I wasted my money on this book, if you can actually consider it a book.
This story is so gripping! I got sucked in reading the first book and I’m not looking back! The characters just come to life on the page. I don’t want to put it down!
This is a useful book for Diana Gabaldon's fans since it contains valuable information about her books. It is a reference book and does not contain any of her novels.
Like the various sorts of the lists. However I'd still like to see one that is completely sorted by the dates in the books so that I can read the entire universe in the order that things happen.
Overall, the lists are complete; however, there are formatting issues that make the lists difficult to navigate. I hope the compiler updates with a fix.
