A Case of Identity Theft
A not overly attractive young woman seeks the help of Sherlock Holmes. Her husband is missing. Only a few days later the missing husband arrives, breathless, at 221B Baker Street. His wife is missing. England's greatest detective helps them. But then the mothers of both the young husband and the wife come asking for the services of Sherlock Holmes. Both of their children are missing and foul play is suspected. Together with Dr. Watson and with a little help from Mycroft Holmes, our wonderful sleuth must put an end to a strong of murders, recover half a million pounds in stolen securities, and rescue the young couple from certain death at the hands of the evil powers. Fans of Sherlock Holmes will enjoy this new mystery with all the familiar characters and settings, but with a new and intricate plot and a storyline that reaches from the East End of London to Botany Bay and beyond.

Entertaining mystery listening 🎶🔰
Another will written British 🏰 murder mystery family and friends relationships adventure thriller novel by Craig Stephen Copland (New Sherlock Holmes Mysteries book 5. Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson are called to investigate the disappearance of a woman's 🚺 husband. He is found then the two them disappear and then they are murdered. What is going on ? Sherlock and Watson meet with the mothers and discover that it was not their daughter and son that were murdered. They continue the investigation and discover the truth behind everything capturing the criminals and rescuing the couple. A great Sherlock Holmes novel I would recommend this series and author to fans of Sherlock Holmes and readers of mystery novels 👍🔰. Craig Stephen Copland's Sherlock Holmes Mysteries Book A Case of Identity Theft: A New Sherlock Holmes Mystery is a novel that is absolutely full of twists and turns, and I love it. A young woman comes to Sherlock asking for help because her husband is missing. Soon after, the "missing" husband shows up at 221B Baker Street, breathlessly exclaiming that his wife is missing. Later, the young couple's mothers come to Sherlock for help, saying the couple is missing and there is likely foul play involved. From there, the suspense and unexpected twists continue, extremely reminiscent of Conan Doyle's original twists and turns, yet original in their own right. And boy, does it work.

1888, 221B Baker St. Dr. John Hamish Watson (husband, Sherlock's BMF) was asking Mr. William “Sherlock” Scott Holmes (Scotland Yard consulting detective) why he was not helping to try & solve the Jack the Ripper case.
Sherlock was congratulating Mrs. Mary Angel (20+, nee Sutherland) of her article in the Rugby News.
Mr. Hosmer Angel (husband, Thomas Cook’s Travel Service skilled typist) played rugby.
Mary traveled with the team/husband & wrote about the games.
1 trip the Captain of the Oceana (Steamship) checked the passenger list, Mary’s name was on it, but not Hosmer’s.
Mary hired Sherl0ck to find him.
Dr. John Hamish Watson (husband, Sherlock's BMF) asked Sherlock if he solved the case.
Hosmer had returned to Mary.
1-day Billy (young page) answered the front door & it was Bedelia Windibank & Mrs. Gertrude Angel (friend).
They were concerned about their children.
Mrs. Angel is missing.
DI Greg Lestrade (Scotland Yard) stopped by the Sherlock's flat.
A young man/woman were found with their heads chopped off.
They were ID as Mary Angel & Hosmer Angel.
DI Lestrade took Sherlock & Dr. Watson to the crime scene.

An awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very professionally written 19th Century Sherlock Holmes mystery book. It was extremely easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great description list of unique characters, settings, facts etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great 19th Century Sherlock Holmes mystery movie, or better yet a mini-TV series. To be continued. An extremely easy rating of 5 stars.

Could have been a good read if only it had been proofread before publishing. The author is trying to continue in the vein of Arthur Conan Doyle, and would be much more successful if there were not so many grammatical errors, or preferably, none at all. Having read many of Mr. Doyle's books I can assure you, there were no typographical or grammatical errors in any of his books. That is because he took pride in what he published, something Mr. Copland should try to emulate.
It is a shame, because Mr. Copland puts forth Sherlock the same as did Mr. Doyle; i.e. an egotistical, pompous ass. But I really enjoyed Sherlock's take on English people. Had to laugh out loud.
Hopefully Mr. Copland will take heed, as he writes a good story but is his worst enemy when it comes to its presentation.

I used to feel sorry for Watson, it seemed to me that Holmes did nothing but pick on him. I know it was just my perspective, and it was probably self-defense because I was struggling to "keep up" as the stories unfolded. I think I may need to go back and re-read a bunch.

Engaging tale
Sherlock Holmes mysteries have been my reading favorites since I was in elementary school.
This is one of the better descendants and the depths he brings to Watson and Holmes are both consistent and enjoyable

Copland writes a lot of Holmes novels. This is one of his best.
A young wife comes to Holmes about her missing husband. Later the same husband comes to Holmes about his missing wife.
Next the mothers of both come to home about their missing son and daughter.
Loved this story.

A fun read in the Holmes style

A typical Sherlock Holmes tale that is suspenseful and full of surprising twists in the plot.
Sherlock's fine talent of observation aids him as always,in uncovering important clues to solve the case. His faithful companion, Watson is ever present to help him.
The autbor's writing style makes for easy reading as we follow Sherlock step by step as he takes us to the resolution of the case.
I like the way the author interprets the character of Watson. He's intelligent and yet more open to wit than his serious detective friend. Also the typical English mothers in the story gave us an added bit of humor.

Many twist with a great ending!
This book had a lot of twist in it starting with one missing person to two missing people. I loved the two mothers in this book and how they got on Sherlock Holmes nerves. It was quite funny to see Watson and Mrs. Hudson copy their funny nature after they left the room too. The ending was a complete surprise to me and really made me laugh out loud too. It made me wonder how many people would do the same thing?
