Chui Vasquez has become a homeless alcoholic and plays his sax on the street corner for tips to buy booze. Someone drops an envelope containing $50,000 into the abandoned doorway where he sleeps at night. Confused about what to do with his new found wealth, he trys to be as normal as possible. He plays his saxophone on his corner as usual that day. An old priest stops and requests a song, which he plays. His tormented life suddenly makes an abrupt change as we learn about his unsettled and incongruous past. As his new friends and family is introduced to the story, we discover some fasinating and amusing characters and long hidden secrets lurking in the surprise ending to Chui's life story.
