In Book Three of the Billionaire Brotherhood, Ryan Eastham appears to have it all—fame, fortune, and legendary good looks—but injury has ended his high-profile professional football career and he’s at loose ends. After years of living, breathing, and training for football, he’s searching for something meaningful to do with his future. He expects nothing but boredom from the on-air sports announcer job he’s been offered, and his so-called love life is more tabloid fiction than fact.

Due to the shattering betrayal of her late husband, Jenna McCall is wary of men and their meaningless promises. Isolating herself from friends and family while she reexamines her goals and dreams, her one year old daughter is her sole focus. Ryan’s unscheduled intrusion into her life leaves her irritated, edgy, and a little intrigued.

Family commitments throw this pair together as reluctant companions on a cross-country drive from Massachusetts to Missouri. Despite a wrong turn, stolen car, and fussy baby, they find unexpected pleasure in one another’s company. Amid wedding chaos and intense family drama in St. Louis, they each proceed with plans to start new careers in different parts of the country, but their attraction continues to build. When it’s time to say good-bye, Ryan challenges Jenna to remake their lives and plan a future together instead.

From the first time I read a Nancy Drew mystery as a child, I’ve been an avid reader and occasional writer. After marrying the man of my dreams and giving birth to the world’s two best children, I spent many years as a wife and mother with an interesting variety of nine-to-five jobs. Eventually, the desire to create my own stories took over.

As a member of the Romance Writers of America and OVRWA, the local affiliated chapter, I took my time learning my craft, developing my skills, and laboring over every word, sentence, and paragraph of more than eight completed manuscripts. As an unpublished author, it was my great honor to be named a six-time Golden Heart™ Finalist and two-time Golden Heart™ winner by RWA.

Finally giving in to the desire to make my publishing dreams come true, I ditched the full-time job in order to self-publish the kind of stories I like to read and write. What kind is that? Fresh, flirty, and fun contemporaries about strong women who deal with relatable situations in familiar settings. I hope that’s the kind of story you like, too.

Jenna McCall has secluded herself from the outside world for the past year, and has kept minimal contact with her family and friends because she can't stand the thought of seeing the signs of pity they have on their faces. Losing her husband while she was pregnant with their child was almost unbearable, but then to learn that he sought out comfort from other women during their marriage was completely devastating, and has lead her to have little faith in men in general. Taking care of her daughter is her number one priority now, and trying to secure a future for them has been weighing heavy on her mind. Her family would love nothing more than to see her move a little closer to home, and take a job there, but the idea of them learning about her husbands transgressions is something she isn't quite ready to deal with. And staying in her current location has become a lot less desirable since her in-laws have started to become a little overbearing, and more opinionated about what she does in her personal life. She is starting to feel the pressures of life closing in, and isn't real thrilled when her father asks to her help out his wife's football star nephew after his knee surgery. She doesn't have time for his shenanigans, but her obligation to help out family outweighs her personal needs this time... so she reluctantly gives in, comes to his rescue.

Due to a sidelining injury Ryan Eastham's days on the football field are over, and he has now found himself taking a seat in a broadcast booth calling games and feeling a little envious of those who are out of the field still able to play the game. While he enjoys his time in front of the camera, he longs to find something a little more fulfilling to do with his life, something he can be proud of, but finding the right career has proven to be a little difficult. He is hoping he will have time to do some more research while he is recouping from his knee surgery, and maybe find the right option for his future. He is also looking forward to spending a little quality time with his favorite aunt while she comes to nurse him back to good health, but that plan doesn't quite pan out after mother nature ruins her travel plans, leaving him in great need of being rescued from the hospital. He never expected to wake up from surgery and find his beautiful childhood friend Jenna there to save the day and be the one to get him home safely from the hospital. He is excited to see her, but she doesn't share his same excitement, so he figures he'll try winning her over with a little harmless flirting and flashing his pantie dropping smile... but he soon finds out that his playboy alluring ways won't have him scoring with her anytime soon!!

I have been anxiously awaiting for the opportunity to meet Ryan for sometime now, from the very beginning I was intrigued with Ryan's character and wanted to know more about him, and now I can say he was definitely worth the wait!! He was everything I thought he would be, and so much more, Ms. Floyd definitely saved the best for last!! I truly enjoyed every minute I spent reading Jenna and Ryan's story, it warmed my heart, and had me smiling the whole way through!! I absolutely adored Jenna's character, she was bold, inspiring, very relate-able, and not afraid to go for what she wants... and her persistence to find true happiness definitely paid off!!

I highly recommend you meet the men behind the Billionaire Brotherhood series, they are guaranteed to swoop in and steal your heart, leave you smiling like a fool, and are destined to linger with you long after the last page has turned!!

Jenna McCall was not seasoned when it came to dating but the two men she dated and one of which she married cheated on her. The second one being her husband Matt. When she was two month pregnant she knew he was having an affair so not only was she having to mourn her hero husband but she had to deal with guilt of being angry with him at the same time. Causing herself to close herself and her daughter Elly off to everyone even her family.
Then her father Joel calls and says Abby’s nephew Ryan Eastham, who is like a son to her just had surgery. They were supposed to be coming to stay with him and care for him but there was delay. Could she go until they could get there? She really doesn’t want to. She has Elly and self-pity and anger to work on. She goes anyway.
Now she hasn’t seen Ryan in over a year since Matt’s funeral. That was a blur. You see Ryan was a pro football player sidelined for good, due to this last knee injury. When she gets there he’s like where’s Abby? What are you doing here? She starts to explain when the nurse comes in and she’s like…”Oh goody your ride! You can finally leave!” He’s like, “Yup!” Jenna’s like, “Oh?” when he grabs her hand and pulls her to his chest, saying something like work with me basically.
Jenna springs him but when she ask if he doesn’t live far he says not much. Yet, and hour plus later he is not happy. Especially after just trying to get him in the car. (Comical!) She just about has her fill when he starts ordering her around. She can’t leave him at home it goes against all the paperwork instructions she signed him out on.
While Ryan is staying at the beach house with Jenna he talks to his aunt Abby. She tells him they are all worried that Jenna is dragging her feet about coming to his sister’s wedding. So, she asked that he do all he can to get her there. When she decides to drive to her dad’s for the wedding she has it all planned to come up with an excuse to not make it there. So when Ryan decides to drive with her to help with Elly and to be a tag team for safety she is pissed. She is not a happy camper knowing she will have to use other measures to slow them down. Basically, she doesn’t want all the family to know her business when comes to the truth of her husband’s unfaithfulness and death. She doesn’t want them to know she doesn’t have a job or a home or that it wasn’t her fault her first relationship failed because of the betrayal of her ex and with her best friend. So why would she want to go...
This was a fun book in that here you have this couple that have been circling each other for years. Never truly aware of one another. Yet, when the doo-doo hit the fan they could let each other down. Not to mention the family that brought them in the same orbit to begin with. This is Ryan’s side of the family communicates to well and Jenna’s not so much.
This book comes with twist and turns and they will make you say Hmm? I could understand the questioning and second guessing herself. When you come from a place of betrayal and not foundation of truth it can make you unsure of who and what is real. I give this 5 stars. Provided by netgalley.com.

Remaking Ryan by Jacie Floyd, is the third and final book from her Billionaire Brotherhood series. Each book focuses on one of three wealthy and handsome young men, that due to the 9/11 tragedy become lifelong friends. A road trip across the country to ensure that their respective families are safe, only solidifies their newfound brotherhood.

Ryan Eastham was all about football. He played the sport from the moment he could walk and became very successful all through high school and college. After being injured on the field, his professional career with the Boston Beacons came to an abrupt end. While he recovers physically and mentally from his final knee surgery, he thinks about his career as a sportscaster and how he can do something more fulfilling. In three weeks he will be heading to his hometown of St. Louis for his sister's wedding, and he is looking forward to seeing his family.

With the exception of the birth of her daughter, Jenna McCall has had a horrific year. She found out her husband was having an affair, a short time before he got killed piloting a mission for the military. Jenna lives a reclusive life as she copes with her grief, while residing in her in-law's beach cottage. She has no choice but to pick up Ryan from the surgery center, when his aunt, who is also her stepmom, sprains her ankle. Jenna and Ryan have known each other for a long time, but never became friends. They end up traveling back to St. Louis together and overtime, develop feelings for one another. Once back in their hometown, they explore their desires and end up falling in love.

There is a lot happening in this novel and Ms. Floyd does a terrific job of keeping the plot fresh and exciting. The author evolves Ryan and Jenna with a genuineness that kept me wanting more. Furthermore, I found many of the secondary characters to be quite engaging, especially Jenna's father. His goodness and love is felt throughout the book. While the actions of Jenna's former mother-in-law are reprehensible. Ryan and Jenna are a unique couple, and they indirectly challenge each other, as they evolve into a family. Overall, this is a well-written series that should not be missed.

First reviewed on: Key Read That

*ARC was provided through NetGalley*

The Why: It was a story about redemption and second chances. It was sweet and lovable. This is the third book in the Billionaire Brotherhood trilogy, but I didn't feel like something missing that I had to read the first two.

Characters:
Ryan: His high profile football career has come to an abrupt stop, because of an injury. So he doesn't know what he is going to do. Football was his life and he doesn't have any inkling of what he wants to do. He is known for being a player and Mr. No Commitment to his friends. So it's a surprise when he is thrown together with Jenna and actually starts to have feelings for her and going on a road trip was not in the plan. Ryan was sweet and patience with her and persistence which helped change her view on men.

Jenna: She has just come from a devastating marriage that has left her a widow. Since the death of her husband she has isolated herself from her family and friends. So when her dad's wedding approaches he wants her to visit. But because of her fear of heights she and Ryan drive cross country to Missouri along with Elly, her young child. Jenna was a force to be reckoned with especially dealing with Ryan, but Ryan was sweet to her and made her perspective change on Ryan.

Final Thoughts: I would love to know about the other guys in the Billionaire Brotherhood. I felt like there should have been more of an ending for Ryan. I mean I would have love an epilogue or something.

Remaking Ryan by Jaci Floyd is the third and final installment in her Billionaire Brotherhood series. In this installment we meet Jenna McCall and Ryan Eastham. Jenna has had one horrendous year. She found out her husband was having an affair, then he was tragically killed in a mission with the military leaving her pregnant and alone. Fearing her family might find out about her husband's affair before his death, Jenna has tried her best to seclude herself from her family but when asked to pick up her step-mom's nephew, Ryan Eastham.

Ryan had a promising career in football until a an injury leaves him sidelined and thinking about a new career. For now all Ryan wants to think about is getting through surgery, healing and going to his sister's wedding in St. Louis. When Jenna shows up to escort Ryan safely home he is excited with a chance to reconnect and win her over. He never had any idea how hard that task would be.

This was a fabulous book! I loved the author's sense of humor and even though this book is part of a series it can definitely be read as a stand alone. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a light and funny romance.

I received an eARC of this book from the publisher for my honest review and opinion. All ratings and opinions stated are my own.

In Remaking Ryan, Ryan is a former professional football player and Jenna is a young mother and widow dealing with her husband's betrayal. They have each had their worlds knocked out from under them with no plans for the future. They're forced to take a good hard look at their lives and decide what they want to do next. Although the two of them have been acquainted for years and know one another's history, their paths haven't crossed often enough for them to get to know one another. Now, on a cross-country drive that turns into the road trip from hell, they get to know one another very well indeed. I loved writing the humorous interactions that arose between them even though they were dealing with serious issues in their lives.

Love this series. I am not ready for the series to end. In fact I was not ready for this book to end when it did. I was hoping for an epilogue or just more at the end, it makes me hopeful for another book.

This story has a lot of laughs and a fun road trip as the h/h and a baby travel from Boston to St. Louis for a wedding. I loved Jenna’s strength and Ryan’s positivity. Baby Elly was a doll. There was a lot of angst but a lot of growth. Fans of contemporary romance will enjoy all the feels. It’s the last of the billionaire series and as good as the other two.

On 911, a road trip from west to east given a chance for three boys being best friend forever, they supported each other, even a decade later, they still there.

All boys maybe rich but they did have their own family. Ryan is the retired NFL player, he is looking for the future, being in the field or create a new one. Because his family, he link with Jenna, a lady with a nine month daughter, also a widow.

Both of them need something to find their future, Jenna, most being hurt by her late cheated husband, and the family in law, they chose the grandson rather than granddaughter, it's a big hit for Jenna.

A road trip to St. Louis, given Ryan a chance to repeated his journey, to met his best, last was two best friends, this time is his soul mate.

Interesting stories n read it as standalone.
