Great read. This book dealt with forgiving people, a special needs baby, the desertion of a father and the effect it had on a young boy, and more. Loved the characters, and enjoyed the book a lot

I thought this book was fascinating.... I found the creative characters were vivid and I could easily relate to their strengths and weaknesses.

Rebecca Michaels was surely an unbelievable dedicated Mom and caregiver. She had to take care of her Special Need son, Josh, her other son, Peter and grandma, Rose, after her ex-husband, Craig, left her. She stop believing in God because she felt that he let her down. She was having a hard time trying to manage and take care of her small family but Rose helped her, quite often and spiritually, too.

Peter, a 9 year old boy, was having a difficult time cope with his family moving from Dallas, Texas to Oakview, Oklahoma. He kept running away until Gabriel Stone return him home, every time.

When Gabriel met Rebecca, he was instantly attracted to her...but he wanted a family desperately because his 7 months pregnant wife, Judy, was killed by a drunk driver, George McCall. (Gabriel couldn't remove his wedding ring because he felt God gave up on him).

Gabriel assisted Rebecca with Peter (he got him on the baseball team, involved with a senior citizen home and even church). He help Rebecca get a job, help taking care of Josh, joining the church choir and meeting the other people in the community!

Together, their friendship and love continues to grow with the help and support of her family and extend family (Mabel, Rose, Bess, Samuel...)

I'm looking forward to reading more literature by Ms. Daley. I highly recommend this book...
