This book covers a very basic area of server installation, server upgrade, configuring an IP address, adding a user, adding a user to a group, and enabling remote desktop. It is designed to give someone a brief, basic look into the world of Microsoft server administration. This book will not cover any networking concepts, active directory, group policy, roles, or any advanced features of Windows Server. The Basic 411 Series of books is made to cover only a beginner's area of skills and knowledge. It isn't designed for any in-depth or detailed look.
