A beautiful book, full of wonderful images of a splendid animal. Each short section examines the work of a British printmaker, including the techniques they use and the inspiration for their artwork (which turns out to be somewhat repetitive). The informative introduction includes useful comments on the various printing techniques.

I found the standard of the chosen artworks a bit uneven - the best are marvellous but some were possibly a bit of a disappointment to the compiler. Overall, though, this is a splendid collection, either for casual browsing or more prolonged study.
