Christmas Babies: Twins

Rate this book
Twin sisters! Two babies.
Double the trouble...and twice the joy! Especially at Christmas...

When Danni Ferris keeps her appointment with a client she barely knows, the last thing she expects him to do is take her into his arms and kiss her passionately. But that's exactly what happens. There can only be one explanation - Danni's twin sister, Kristine!

In Christmas Babies, Ellen James explores the relationship between identical sisters - a relationship that is stretched to the limit when Bryan McKay comes into their lives.

3.5 stars. Well this was an interesting cluster f&*# of a situation. Lots of drama, but not much romance. Our h Danni had great convos with her lying sister, the H's dying mother, and her crying brother in law but didn't really seem to have those great character revealing convos with the poor H. She spent so much time pushing him away there wasn't really a chance IMO to develop a relationship. I liked how the author went outside of the box with this one and despite the lack luster romance, I did enjoy reading this train wreak situation.
*Does contain some cheating triggers for those that need that warning.
* The Christmas components of the story are there in passing, I wouldn't call this a Christmas novel- likewise with the babies (don't be expecting some cute baby happenings).

Danni and Kris are identical twin sisters. Kris is married and her husband can tell her and Danni apart. Apparently Kris and her husband were having difficulties in their marriage. Kris would not share this with Danni. Kris is a little self centered and somewhat of a drama queen. It's got to be all about her.

Danni on the other hand takes up for her sister even when she shouldn't. Really did enjoy the book. Think you will too.

A typical Harlequin, but written by a friend. This time twins fall in love with the same man.

Not my usual genre but was hoping for a light holiday read. The book was annoying. Not awful, just annoying. Also of note, this book was not about Christmas nor babies.

This was terrible.

Don't believe the cover, that it's about those two adores little ones. And It's not a Christmas novel as it only ends on Christmas.

It's about adult twin sisters who will have you wanting to slap them into reality. As I don't have a twin, maybe I don't understand why in the world you would clean up their messes, and put up with one that constantly tries to seduce your bf/love interest and says she is pregnant with his baby when she is in fact pregnant by her own hubby and knows that you are also pregnant with his kid. But that brings up the different aspect of her bf working through the situation and not just leaving.

I think they were all nuts. This story might work for some people.
