This was a well written and thoughtful little book of God's enduring faithfulness told through the stories of a missionary family. The original book is a great stand alone read but adding the commentaries from the now grown up kids transcended it to this whole new and wonderful thing. It was quite refreshing to hear adult children of missionaries expressing how much they respected and enjoyed their parent's ministry. This thought provoking book made me laugh and cry (sometimes in the same paragraph) and was a great reminder that God provides.
