This book is about two youth with emotional disturbances. The reader follows them through their daily life. At the end of each chapter, there is a section of explanation of what is happening to Sheila and Trent, why it is happening and what can be done about it.

The book is geared toward adolescent audiences, but I really got a lot out of it. It is part of a special education series. I will be reading more from this series now that I have finished this one.
