This living diagram is a consciousness device, capable of transforming the person who uses it. The principles of this symbol are applied to everyday situations to show that the Enneagram is the key to the structure of human intelligence. Includes the Enneagram of the Lord's Prayer.
John Godolphin Bennett (8 June 1897 – 13 December 1974) was a British mathematician, scientist, technologist, industrial research director and author. He is perhaps best known for his many books on psychology and spirituality, particularly on the teachings of G. I. Gurdjieff. Bennett met Gurdjieff in Istanbul in October 1920 and later helped to co-ordinate the work of Gurdjieff in England after Gurdjieff's arrival in Paris. He also was active in starting the British section of the Subud movement, and co-founded its British headquarters.
I have known Gurdjieff since the 70´s, he did not aged well, it is building a theory over nothing really. I read it because a good friend asked me to read it, I read it in 1 hour. The Pythagorean star is very well known, The Divine Proportion by Luca Passioly is far more interesting and geometrically beautiful. JG Bennet definitely does his homework as a diehard of Gurdjieff and Watts. His teachings are very old hat. VS
