The story line is different from other Vampire stories I've read, I loved the authors writing style and the characters are amazing. Octavian and Nyla are great together. The have such a strong connection and chemistry and the sex scenes are off the charts HOT! I was not prepared for that ending, and I'm going through withdrawals because I have to wait for the next installment. Why, Why, Why Do I have to wait for the next book! I can't wait that long - I need to know that happens next!!! I LOVED this book, but HATE having to wait! I recently started reading Paranormal Romance/Erotica; and this book... By Dreamraven I recently started reading Paranormal Romance/Erotica; and this book makes me want to read more. The idea behind the donor system, the interaction between the characters, the conflict from those not wanting the system in place...and of course the sex, lead to a creative story and I can't wait until I can read the next installment.

This book was suggested to me by a reading buddy.
This is an interracial Paranormal romance (black woman/white male) Vampires. Nayla and Octavian's story. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the story. Easy flow and I liked the couple and good dialogue between the two. It has been a great change from some of the boring traditional romances I have been reading lately.
I am looking forward to reading book 2.

I will admit I didn't think I was going to like it this much. I am loving this series!

Humans and Vampires n
3.00 stars. This was an okay read with a different take on how to keep a blood supply for vampires with minimal loss of human life. Octavian Korvich is wealthy and the second most powerful vampire alive. Nyla Jordan is a certified donor and has been waiting for several years to be paired with a vampire. Octavian has no donor and is on a mission for his coven that will take almost a week to complete. Because he has not feed in several days, he is having problems concentrating and controlling his temper aka his 'beast'. His friend and companion goes to the local donor data base and sends Octavian to Nyla to be feed. Nyla is a perfect match and meets all his needs emotionally, intellectually, sexually and she calms his 'beast'. He takes her to meet his father and having their union ceremony, the father is against it because Nyla is Black; but, he finally relents and officiates over the proceedings. While Nyla is in their suit waiting for Octavian, his former donor drugs her, ties her up and takes her hostage.

I love it
Where to start..... I never read the Prince's Donor and probably won't but I see it got good reviews. Ms. Lynn revised that book into this, according to the credits and disclaimers, maybe as to reach a broader audience. I enjoyed this book and can't wait for the "sequel" because I have questions. This book roped me in and kept me hooked; and it made me hot. Paranormal BWWM with a vampire element doesn't always work for me but this one did. I'm very happy that I took a chance. Like a McDonald's commercial- I'm loving it.

I want more
Ok I really enjoyed this story. I love interracial paranormal erotica. However I can't usually find good ones. This was good. The main character was curvy dark and thought she was a plain jane, not ugly....just not a super model. I think we all can relate.
