She'd vanished into the raging waters of the Caribbean -- suddenly, shockingly lost to the man who loved her but wouldn't make her his wife. When Reesa Hawke was pulled from the sea, she had lost all memory of her former life. A new identity, a new job, filled her days -- but her nights were restless, haunted by a dream lover she couldn't recall.

Then one night, seven months after the tragic accident, Dake Masters stood before her -- and all the fear and fury returned. Insecurity and pride had torn them asunder before, but a miracle had given them another chance to make it right between them. Could they trade the troubled past for a future filled with all that was newly precious?

Reading between the lines, the H was married to his 'expedient' wife and didn't want to divorce her for his mother-in-law's sake even though he claims to love h and they were living together. He ends up divorcing his wife later after h falls in the lake and is believed dead before his MIL dies. The H is accused of murder and h suffers from amnesia which she immediately loses the minute she meets h. For all his claims of love, I really don't believe H actually loved h considering he didn't want to marry h until she 'dies'.

I couldn't finish this one. Not only was the story ridiculous, but the author insults the readers' intelligence by making both the H and h so multi-talented in whatever they do that she might as well make them a god and goddess!! Whether it's singing, acting, dancing, diving, the world of business, the arts, politics, high society, you name it, they've done it and are the best of the best!!

BALONEY!!!! They're supposed to be human, or had the author forgotten????
