Sophie Sinora’s BFF, AJ Dawson, is trying to break Sophie and her boyfriend apart. Sophie’s other BFF, Krysta Richards, wants to die so she can talk to her mother’s ghost. The crooked cop hunting Krysta wants her dead, too. But he’s not half as scary as the vengeful succubus who’s threatening to steal their souls. Sophie just wants all her problems to go away. Since that’s not going to happen any time soon, she’d like it if she and her friends could survive another year of high school.

Needless to say, I loved this series so much, and I feel a bit of shock that it is actually over. It doesn't feel like it should be over, but I kind of like the way that it ended (minus the whole flash forward 10 years into the future thing; I don't like those, tbh!) with just enough to finish the story but without telling us every single detail of everyone's life and dragging the story out for ever and ever until we all get sick of it and give up. I can definitely see myself reading more from this author, as this story definitely grabbed my attention and held it for 7 books straight!
An amazing ending to an amazing series. This is the series that got me addicted to Tara. It's bitter sweet to see it end but well worth the journey to get here. Sophie, Krysta and AJ learn more about their powers with surprises that will make you happy, heartbreak that will have you wanting to reach in and slap someone and laughter that will have you rolling.
The end of an era :-( Thank you Tara for taking us on this journey. I have enjoyed all seven of the Whispers books and will recommend them to anyone, children and adults alike.
