Excelente comienzo de la línea Mutopía X, el equivalente en esta realidad de House of M alterada por Scarlet Witch de lo que en el mundo normal era Distrito X, de David Hine.
Al comienzo del número vemos cómo la vida de Ismael Ortega se desmorona por completo, hasta que abre un huevo y una brillante luz blanca lo ciega, cambiando enteramente la realidad. La acción de esta historia transcurre en el Barrio Sapien, donde opera el agente mutante Bishop, previniendo un atentado a un músico mutante, quien luego forma equipo con Ismael para cuidar de un famoso productor de cine. Muy interesante el rol de Lara Kaufman (antes Lara King), una actriz que usa su poderes ilusionistas para transformarse en actrices legendarias y así protagonizar remakes de sus mejores películas (por ejemplo, El ángel azul de Marlene Dietrich).
Durante el estreno de una nueva película irrumpe violentamente la Liga Sapien, atacando y disparando sobre Ismael, Bishop y Lara. Se produce un enfrentamiento y la que parece ser la líder del grupo revolucionario logra escapar. Una vez en su escondite, pone a Ismael en la cima de su lista de los que debe asesinar.
Buena historia, que mezcla barrios bajos y marginales, personajes famosos y corruptos, y todo el conflicto que se produce en esta realidad entre los humanos subyugados y los mutantes que ejercen el control. Muy interesante dupla de personajes principales, que incluye a un humano, Ismael, y un mutante, Bishop, trabajando juntos.

I'm reading the entire House of M event and I loving it so far. This number was so interesting! The attack to the Hip Hop mutant singer kind of reminded of Lennon's murder. The tension between humans and mutants, the resistance human movement; all these things make all these comics very political and I just love that.

The story is super interesting. It's good, we are seeing way more of the world of the House of M than maybe ever!
I am not sure if that's an exaggeration, but we just saw a blue rapper who appeals to the humans by rapping songs that he is human like them!
We just saw a mutant actress that has the power to morph into any other female, and the regulators of acting told her to morph into dead actresses only! So yeah, that pretty girl on the cover is none other than Marylin Monroe!
I was like why the fuck is Marylin Monroe on the cover lol
But you know what? I think what made this interesting was seeing how House of M changed the world and not actually the formula behind District X, so I might still not read it lol
