Betrayed, Alex awakens to find himself in greater danger than he has ever before experienced. His ability to turn into the Demon could prove to be mankind's greatest threat. Alex has to decide if he commands the Demon, or if the Demon rules him. Tormented by the past, Alex finds peace in a place he had never thought to look. Torn between duty and the danger that hounds his footsteps, Alex also finds a way to fill the void in his life, family. But living for others also means having more to lose. When Drogan's threat extends beyond the werewolves, Alex has to decide whether he is willing to put his life, and the lives of the other werewolf students, on the line in order to save the humans.
Cheree Alsop is an award-winning, best-selling author and the mother of a beautiful, talented daughter and amazing twin sons who fill every day with joy and laughter. She is married to her best friend, Michael, the light of her life and her soulmate who shares her dreams and inspires her by reading the first drafts of each book. Cheree is a fulltime author and mother, which is much more fun than work! She enjoys reading, riding her motorcycle on warm nights, and playing with her twins while planning her next book. She is also a bass player for their rock band, Alien Landslide.
Cheree and Michael live in Utah where they rock out, enjoy the outdoors, plan great adventures, and never stop dreaming.
Vengeance is often claimed, but not often sussessful.
When summer is over and the Academy starts back up, Alex is even more in love with his fiance and surfing. He wants to change the world for the better and do it soon.
But already committed to another year of school, a world wide wedding, returning to Greyton next year for surfing and summer vacation, and bringing peace to the fear between humans and werewolves, it is not going to be easy.
Vengeance, Book 6 of Alsop’s Werewolf Academy series is another quick and exciting read especially for teens and young adults. Well written and an enjoyable read.
I look forward to continuing to read the remaining books in this series and recommend it to anyone who prefers their paranormal stories clean and suspenseful.
Vengeance is the penultimate book in the Werewolf Academy series and it shows no signs of slowing down. After being betrayed, Alex is held by Extremists who want to drain him of his blood. Surprisingly, Drogan is there too and not in the way he wants to be. He is being held against his will as a backup in case Alex doesn't turn. That's right, Drogan is a werewolf too and the reasons given for why he hates them so much are heartbreaking. Doesn't stop me from completely loathing the man, but at least I understand more about him now.
On the plus side, Alex has a summer by the sea learning to surf. Okay, so actually he's there to escape Drogan but, you know, silver linings and all that. He learns more about himself and Siale, and what makes him tick and undertake the things he does.
There is nothing too obvious in this book, but I can tell it is building up. I know the big climax will come in the next book, and I am dreading it as much as I can't wait for it. I've been burnt by Ms. Alsop before! This really is a fantastic series that I am thoroughly enjoying. The characters are likeable, sometimes foolhardy, but always trying their best. Absolutely brilliant.

Mutant Werewolves? Drogan's a werewolf? It's all too much, just too much! Jaze sends to kids (Cassie Tennison and Alex) on a summer vacation at Siale and Red's place. A converted warehouse that is a safe place for werewolves. Jaze just wants them to relax and be teenagers. Alex can't stop his mind from stressing and then he finds surfing. Even though it all can't be fun and games, they are having a great time. Then the news stories start. "Mutant werewolves attack!" Drogan is killing everyone that betrayed him, his own people and he is in control of the mutants. Lucien, the alpha of the mutants, has been trained to do one thing, Kill. Only Alex is strong enough to fight him. While this book was as good as the others, I had to downgrade my stars because of all the errors I found in this book. They all had proofreading error but this book was kind of bad. Mouse's wife is Lyra, not Nyra. I hate when they don't keep track of the characters. This has happened before but it was only here and there, but this book was a little worse.
I don’t know how many boxes of tissues I’ve been through reading theses stories. Alex barely get through each fight and at one point we thought he had lost, stuck in a lab being tortured to try to make him turn and if it wasn’t for one of the assistants he might just have been killed. And his step brother actually revived him at one point. On the bright side he asked Siale to marry him and she said yes and Cassie got engaged to Tennison but the fight is nit over and so you must read what happened so I don’t soul the story I recommend this book as part of the ongoing saga
This installment gets really intense. Alex must fight his half brother and his pack of mutants to protect those he cares for. He has to figure out his live life, and learn to surf. Altogether a very exciting year.
This book really brought it up a notch. Alex has let the beast out and shown the world that werewolves and humans can coexist but it's the ending that seals the deal. I can't wait to start reading the final book in this tantalizing series.
This book really had me turning pages, I jyst didn't want to put it down. Alex has let the beast out and shown the world that werewolves and humans can coexist but it's the ending that seals the deal. I can't wait to start reading the final book in this tantalizing series.
I am thoroughly enjoying this series and this latest book doesn't disappoint. We have a kidnapping, an escape, a suumer holiday, two engagements and a trap. What more could you want?
Alex savings the citizens of Greystone bring him notary and friends with the humans, so when Drogan and his curs go on a rampage across the nation they want to help. But what will the rambunctions be?
Werewolves hiding in plain sight and surfing along people. Playing football and losing. Winning and losing is not the game. The game is living and taking care of one another.
Wow just wow. I can hardly believe and keep up with what's going on. It's an amazing read and I can't wait till I start book seven. Happy reading everyone :)
Resisting new threats while old ones ramp up fast!
Starts off with a bang and keeps racing ahead! Great character development in the first part; I especially liked the debates in the cage. But even after some definite plot wallops, I loved getting to see Alex trying to be normal in this book. I know that he's been traumatized by everything that's happened so far in the series, but the contrast from the werewolf academy to his "vacation" away from it all really struck me. It built on what he'd learned helping the humans in the previous book, and I think this is really where he turned into the figure he's been headed for since the series started. I loved the parallels drawn at different points, but I don't want to spoil any of the plot twists... I'll just say it was a rollercoaster ride that I loved every minute of.
I received a free beta-reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I have one book left in the series and I can't wait to read it. I do hate though that its the last book. I have read all her other books. Can't wait till she releases her new 'Seven' series.
