Crossroads

This is book 2 of 3 in a series and I haven't read book 1.
We are soon introduced to Lance the sexy vsmpire and his bride Leila, to say these are a loved up couple doesn't quire cover it. These two are always saying I love you or showing it and it's sweet, for some it may be too mushy.
They have a baby son, who's a little cutie who is a dhamphur, his half vampire and human, he grows at an unbelievable rate. A pregnancy with a vamp lasts only 36 days, so imagine a little babies development once out at that rate.
I liked learning about there little world and how they all fit in with the human world.
Along with lance and Leilas family life there's is of course danger about and a great selection of characthers that all interact together well.
Lance is fabulous, I really loved him, his so caring and thoughtful let alone sexy. Leila maybe human but she's strong and has a mind of her own. They make a great couple and are enjoyable to read about.
The story line went as expected thank goodness, there was a few times I shouted 'dont' at my kindle.
A great vampire romance read, I look forward to book 3.

This is book 2 in the series. I am reading it as a standalone.
This book was amazing. There is so much going on. We start with a human/vampire wedding and then when they are on their honeymoon they are attacked. Is this an isolated case or a conspiracy? Will he really take the cure? Will they still be in danger? What is she caring now?
Will she find the cure? Will she become a vampire? Will this war end? And who is behind it all?
I received an ARC copy for an honest review.

I had the honour of reading this as a beta read, before anyone else had seen it and LOVED IT! It's just as good as book one, with Lance getting to tell his story, this time around.
I LOVE Lance!! He's so suave and sexy and he can say more with one look or a few words than other guys need pages to say. It doesn't hurt that Sophie's dream casting places Liam Hemsworth as Lance. I mean...swoon!
And, yes! I totally spent the entire book thinking about Liam Hemsworth as Lance. The fit is perfect. Especially in the hot, steamy scenes with Leila. I thought, with them married and baby Jace to take care of, that the heat might die down and the sex would take a back-seat to being parents and married life, but was I wrong or was I wrong? Holy Hotness!
I mean, Sophie's not afraid to pull a rabbit out the hat, when you least expect it. I thought the alley and elevator scenes in book one were hot, but the car scene and the chaise 'quickie' were HAWT!
I'm in love with the new characters, too. Adeline is interesting and I'm really curious as to how she's going to affect the story. I also heard a rumour that the Werewolf Alpha Xander will be getting his own book series. I can only say Hallelujah! I am so intrigued by his character and by the weird but interesting chemistry between him and the “should-be” Alpha Elias and their human girl Kalyssa. They could be something interesting.
But, my heart still belongs to Lance, even if it does drift, occasionally to Kellen, who is still amazing and hot, especially in his new suits. I'd love to see him get more of a story and a HEA of his own, but I don't see it being with Crissy. It just doesn't fit, for me, so I'm interested to see how his story will turn out, in the long term.
I also love how the plot picks up straight from the end of book one. There's no pretense of everything being hunky dory. We're straight in, at the wedding, and then we get a little hotness before the action starts. Of which there is plenty.

That's the great, kick-ass action you can expect from this book. Intense, quick and fiery, but perfectly fitted into the plot and the characters. The action fits in with where they are, what they're doing and keeps the spice alive, in their marriage. It causes fights, arguments and resentment, guilt and all the emotions of any other character. But with these guys, it's suped up to a supernatural level.
The other amazing addition is Jace, himself. Now, as a baby, at the start of the book, he shouldn't be a big character, but he is. He's a dhampir, so his growth rate is ridiculously quick and he's talking before the end of the book. This not only makes sense, for the world Sophie has built, but it makes things interesting. Jace becomes this handful of a toddler and does all the unexpected things that kids do. He grows, learns and he's very much showing off his vampire tendencies in this story. I love that!
The really interesting thing that caught me completely by surprise, was the venture into Lance's past, with flashbacks. I loved seeing how he became a vampire, but also how it still affects him. I spent most of the book thinking that Selestra – a character from the flashback - would make an appearance. But, I'm not going to ruin the story for you, by saying whether or not she does. ;)
It was great to see the witch Raven pop up again. She's a great character and I love the depth that she can add to events and the mystery she provides. I always know that when she makes an appearance, something really bad, but really good, is going to happen.
I totally had a moment, thanks to Raven, where I sat there reading and did a fist bump, while yelling “PLOT TWIST!” in excitement.

Lance Steel is a vampire,he is the owner of two clubs,is rich beyond his wildest dreams hes also a husband and a father his wife Leila is human and their child is half vamp/half human.Lance wants to be able to live a human life along side his wife and son.Leila wanting to help her husband and also being a doctor as well a a scientist invents a sunlight serum which enables her and friends to try and find a cure.But as the time draws closer Lance has a change of heart will he continue in his quest to live a normal human life or will he change his mind and remain a vampire and if he does at what cost…to him,his family and the coven.
Sophie does it again I loved this book its hard to put down once you start reading,her writing is flawless,action packed,exciting and sexy as hell!!!The steam element between Leila and Lance is off the charts.I cant wait for book three in this fantastic hot sexy vampire series

This is a steamy-adult erotic tale that holds nothing back. The writing is superb. Vivid characters and a twisting story plot drive this colorful cast forward to an ending that immensely satisfies but leaves you wanting more. As far the vampire romance genre, this is one of the most entertaining books I’ve read in years.

This is the second book in the series and book one has to be read first!
Lance and Leila have just gotten married after the birth of their son Jase but soon they discover that trouble has followed them on their holidays. There is a group of Vampires called The Outsiders and they believe that Lance and Leila have the means of becoming human again.
As Lance forms an alliance with Xander Reed and the werewolves it is clear that they all must work together to face this new enemy and discover who is at the bottom of it.
Lance believes that to protect his family best he must become a human and Leila believes that she must become a vampire to protect her family. Will the two be able to come to an agreement before it is too late for both of them?
This book has romance, mystery and lots of para-normal! I think it's funny how Leila gets so wrapped up in sex while she is pregnant and is almost insatiable! Luckily she has a husband who is very eager to make her happy. I really enjoyed how the two both had opposite views on how they would stay safe and to be honest I couldn't see how Lance would be able to protect his family when he was a human when I saw what they were up against.
I really enjoyed all of the para-normal groups working together to protect Lance, Leila and Jase for the greater good! I can't wait to see what happens in the next book as Lance's history comes back to haunt his future!

I’m a fan of the vampire genre but I haven’t read a vampire book for a while, so I was really looking forward to reading Crossroads, especially after reading the synopsis. I’m pleased to say that Sophie Slade did not disappoint me.
As soon as I started reading Crossroads, I was hooked and wanted to keep reading and I wanted to keep reading until the end. I loved the world that the author created. There were some elements that we familiar, but there were also a few differences which, I think, made this book even more interesting. I loved the flashbacks and I loved the characters. (Except the ‘bad’ ones.)
There was only one thing that annoyed me. Crossroads is the second book in the Eternally Yours series, “but can be read as a standalone”. While that is true to a certain extent, I found myself confused at times and I felt like I didn’t know what was going on, so I suggest you read the first book in the series before starting Crossroads.
I won’t be going back to read book one, Touched by a Vampire, but I definitely want to read the next book in this series and that’s not just because this book ends in a cliff hanger.

Leila is a human doctor and marrieds to a vampire named Lance. They have a son. Lance is rich, he owns two clubs . Lance says he wants to be human again so Leila tries to find a cure for vampires,But as time goes by Lance wonders if he really wants to change back. Especially as Leila is pregnant again and they had been attacked while on their honeymoon.

This being book 2 in a 3 books series, it can also be a stand alone just as I have read it! I have not read the first book, but this book was a good paranormal read! It has the hot vampire/human sex, the crazy danger and the love of many sides! But most of all it has the betrayal of others that hold trust within the coven!
Lance is a very old, very rich, very sexy and very very very much in love with his wife and child! So when they get pregnant with another one on the way, he's also very protective! But someone from his past is watching his every move and this person wants revenge!
Can La cow keep his wife and children safe or will he turn before he can save them!

This really is a very good series. This author keeps you on your toes. The plot and the characters are good and she never loses momentum. This is a love story and Lance is a hot alpha male vampire. Who said chivalry is dead? The way he takes care of his woman and treats her like a queen. What is not to like! The scenes are smoking hot! Will definitely be reading the rest of this series!

Crossroads is the second book in the Eternally Yours series. I am really a high fan of Paranormal & any romance books. I really love this book because Lance will do anything to save his family and his "pack" from the evil "Outsiders". This book shows how loyalty lies between them the consequences for disloyalty. If you haven't read this book, you are missing out. Can't wait for the third book
