"The Thoughts: The World of My Heart and Soul. The Favorites" is a collection of poetic works and stories written by Alexandr Iscenco during the period of 2002 - 2006. The book features poems on different topics: philosophical reflections, animals and natural phenomena, dedications beautiful ladies, ancient mythology, etc. They are presented in Russian, Romanian, and English languages. Besides poems the book includes two short stories: "Black Hole" and "Road to Happiness." "Black Hole" is a science fiction story written by Alexander Iscenco about people's first journey through hyperspace to the distant worlds. "Road to Happiness" is a beautiful legend, written by Alexandr Iscenco in Ancient Greece style, that tells you about how Good can heal even the most deep-rooted Evil.

My name is Alexandr Iscenco, but I am also known as Shurik the Creator. I am an environmental researcher, professional trainer, and business consultant, who empowers people to create and enjoy a sustainable future. I can also be considered as a knowledge-sharing science-fiction writer, electronics-using visual artist, and experimenting nature photographer, who helps people enjoy the beauty and wisdom of nature.
As an author, I write poems, short stories, and science fiction novels. The dominant topic of my works is the nature and its interrelations with humans. So far, I have written more than 170 poems. Some of them are published in my first book “The Thoughts: The World of My Heart and Soul”, along with two short stories: “The Black Hole” and “Road to Happiness”. My largest and most bestselling book so far is the novel "The Monster: Blade of Darkness" (www.themonster.info). It represents the first part of "The Monster" trilogy, in which I reflect on possible relations between people and the natural environment in the future.

Hope you will enjoy reading the first anthology of my early poems and short novels, as I enjoyed writing it back in 2002 - 2006.
