I love love, and I love that Synithia Williams loves love too. I saw this book needed to be reviewed and decided to peek into the lives of the Henderson family and their quest for their one and only. I’m glad I took the chance.

There are three other Henderson family books that have been written as well as other family series that Ms. Willimas has written about. I love a good backlist that I’ll get to devour. Each book is about a different family member and their fall into love. Ms. Williams makes sure that her characters suffer some before things are set to right. The characters need a little angst to make the sweet that much sweeter.

Aaron has no problems with having fun, being footloose and fancy free. He’s a flirt, but he’s not a jerk. He has no interest in hurting women, at least not on purpose. He’s sensitive and a good guy, he just doesn’t know what he wants in a relationship. He’s serious about his work and his business. He has this burning desire to succeed, and make his dreams come true.

Kacey is driven, hard working and sometimes doesn’t know how to balance her work and having some fun. She’s funny, articulate and has a vulnerability buried deep, deep inside where no one can see it.

Both Aaron and Kacey have past situations that have helped shape the adults that they have become. They need each other to help balance those intense feelings and allow each of them to heal and move forward in their lives.

I liked this book because Kacey and Aaron are each such likable characters. I loved the sense of family and sticking together and helping and protecting each other. I loved Kacey’s sense of independence along with her need to help her family any way that she could.

Both Kacey and Aaron changed and grew together as a couple as well as individually and worked hard to become better people by the end of the book.

Give her books a chance. Her books are all about the romance and love and the happy endings that we all want to have happen.

Occasionally more than one reviewer in the RNIC reviewing pool will read and review the same book. It is always interesting to see what sways one reviewer to give a specific rating. Check out Deborah and Selina's review of From One Night to Forever by Synithia Williams.

Review #1
From One Night to Forever is the latest installment in Synithia William’s Henderson family series.  In this segment Trucker Aaron Henderson loves his freedom of the open road and when he agrees to a business opportunity in Resilient, Tennessee.  Upon his arrival he meets a beautiful woman and they mutually agree to one night of passion.  Little does Aaron realize his night of passion is with his potential partner’s sister.

Kacey Randal wanted a quick fling to relieve the steam before entering her last semester of college.  Once she realizes Aaron will be working with her brother and learns of his reputation as a ladies man, Kacey agrees with Aaron to “pretend” their night of passion never occurred.  When attraction is apparent, it is difficult to hide feelings.

Aaron and Kacey try to fight their attraction but as they are now neighbors, neither can forget that night and want to explore their feelings.  Kacey is fearful that Aaron’s reputation and inability to set down roots will not allow her to fully open to him.  Aaron is fighting his need for Kacey against his freedom.  This relationship is off to a rocky start and both will need to learn to trust and allow love to take over.  Readers will need to download From One Night to Forever to find out if love will prevail.

I enjoyed Aaron and Kacey’s story although it was a slow start in the beginning.  Kacey’s brother was very protective of his sisters because of his past events.  Kacey was the more sensible sister that was determine to not follow in her mother’s footsteps and allowed that to keep her from trusting Aaron.  Aaron’s character was fighting his feelings for Kacey because of a past relationship that shaped his overall view.  He fought his feelings but when he finally faces his problem it may prove too late.   Overall this was a good read.

Review #2
From One Night to Forever, by Synithia Williams is the fourth installment in Ms. Williams’ Henderson Family series.  This installment finally tells the story of Aaron.  We have been intrigued by Aaron’s story from the beginning.  He was the sibling that dropped out of college after one year to drive a big rig.  While Kareem was the brother that seemed to have the most trouble, because he spent time in jail, it was always Aaron that made us wonder.

In this book we find that Aaron is ready to take his trucking company to another level. While he has made a success of his own company, he discovers that by joining forces with the company of an old college buddy he can become even more successful.  In the midst of all this he still believes that he is not ready to settle down, like his siblings have.  On his first night in town to settle the merger he goes to dinner at the local restaurant by his hotel and engages in what is meant to be a one night stand.

As you can tell by the title of the book things did not work out as planned and his life is turned upside down.  The man Aaron plans to partner with, Reggie Holmes, has three sisters, all by different fathers.  This situation has made him extremely protective of them, especially his youngest sister Kacey.  Kacey happens to be the woman Aaron hooked up with.  As this description hints at, this makes for an extremely awkward situation as Kacey and Aaron fight against their attraction, as well has against having her overprotective brother find out about them.

This, like all the other books in this series, was extremely well written.  I was hooked to find out the conclusion and see if they got their HEA and how the various situations would resolve themselves.   Ms. Williams’s works are fantastic to read and I cannot wait to read more of her work.

When I started this book, I thought it was just okay but the more I read, the more I liked it. I liked the twist of them meeting and having that immediate attraction right at the start . . . and then discovering who each other was. It was fun watching them try to deny their attraction and keep their initial meeting (and subsequent feelings and desires) secret from everyone else. There was a huge cast of supporting characters but this is the fourth book in the series so most readers probably already knew who they were. And for those like me, meeting them for the first time, it wasn't too hard to keep track of who was who--almost everyone fell into the two categories of her family or his. Williams did a good job of showing them struggling with all the various aspects of a new relationships--it's not just about your feelings for each other but also about your past baggage, your family's thoughts and reactions and expectations, and your internal fears and vulnerabilities. Added to all of that is the challenge of living in different states. But Williams showed them working through it all to reach their happy ending. I sometimes found the dialogue to be a bit stilted but the more I read, the more I got used to it and decided it was just different regionalisms and speech patterns than I'm used to. Overall, it was a sweet, well-paced romance and I would give another of her books a try.

Although I'm sad to see the Henderson Family Series come to an end, Aaron's story was a great way to wrap things up. There was so much to love about this book: from the way that Aaron and Kacey meet and get it on, then have to hide that fact, to Kacey's mom, Sabrina, and her back story (which isn't often seen in novels, but is very real), and to Kacey's introduction to the Hendersons and the craziness that ensues (that brunch scene was CRAZY!!!) - just to name a few things.

Great series. Papa Henderson mentioned his younger brother and his unmarried children, so I've got my fingers crossed that we'll get another set of Hendersons to fall in love with.

I liked this book, though it was not as good as book 3 in the series was. There were a few editing issues and I got a little impatient with some of the repeated phrases that appeared several times in the book. Still enjoyed finishing up the story of the Henderson children, and I am excited that the epilogue set up the possibility for more books. I am still a big Synithia Williams fan, so I look forward to reading more from her.

Great visiting with those Henderson again!

I was pleasantly surprised when this release dropped this week. This time around we get Aaron's story. He has roamed around all over the states in his big rig & one of his one night stands ended up having family ties to his new business partner & past college friend. I enjoyed Aaron's story & catching up with all the Hendersons. I loved meeting Kacey's family as well and I hope we get more from those ladies in the future.

Great ending to a great series! Aaron Henderson has no intention of ever settling down with one woman. As an interstate trucker, he gets to come and go as he pleases. Until he walks into "Momma's Kitchen" and hears the waitress/manager singing her heart out. Will Kacey finally be the one to tempt Aaron to stay put in one town or will the open road persuade him to keep on truckin'?
