I have been a writer from the time I was old enough to recognise that reading was a doorway into my imagination. Poetry was my first foray into the art of the written word. Books were my best friends, my escape, my haven. I am essentially a recluse but this part of my personality is impossible to practise given I have two teenage daughters, who are actually my friends, my tea-makers, my confidantes...

My heart is currently broken in two. One half resides in South Africa where my old roots still remain, and my heart still longs for the endless beaches and the smell of moist soil after a summer downpour. My love for Ma Afrika will never fade. The other half of me has been transplanted to the Land of the Long White Cloud. The land of the Taniwha, beautiful Maraes, and volcanoes. The land of green, pure beauty that truly inspires. And because I am so torn between these two lands - I shall forever remain crosseyed.

Bryn wants the secret to how Loki is hijacking The Bifrost every time she steps on it. Will Odin come back? Can Loki be stopped? What will Bryn do? Your answers await you in Dead Silence.

In this one you have a multiple of things that go on that thrilling is just the tip. Bryn has her hands full but she will do what she can. She is not alone and with her team this author will keep us on the edge in this ending that we have disappeared into. This author though will keep you in suspense not letting it come too easy on events that happen which enriches the reading in this one. This has been a great series from beginning to end.

Ok, this is just a a “quickie” review. Unfortunately, I’m in a hospital and asked my husband to post this since I don’t have the time or ability right now to do better - even though the book definitely deserves it.

Bottom line: five stars. This was one wonderfully fun novel and definitely recommended. It had just what I wanted and was well written and with a great plot and great cast of characters.

Awesome finale!

An awesome finale to this series. I have to say I was no scholar on Norse mythology before reading this series but it makes me want to learn more about it. The final battle was awesomely described. Made me sad about the loss of life on the good guys side and glad to see the evil one was defeated. I also did a happy dance for some of the major characters who would live to see another day. Highly recommend reading this book.

This is the most fantastic conclusion to a wonderful series. All the action building up to this totally pays off. My book hangover is gonna be a long one after this series. This is one of the most original and imaginative series I've read in years. Great for teens and adults alike and a wonderful introduction to Norse Mythology.

Well bring out the tissues again. This is the last Valkyrie book in this series. Though Ms. Ayer wraps everything up in the end, she takes you up and down and twist and turns to get you there. Ragnarok is here and if you're a fan of the Marvel Universe "Thor" movies, you will love this series. Well done T.G. Ayer.
I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is an amazing conclusion to a fantastic series, and while I hate having one of my favorite series end I absolutely loved this book. The action didn't let up in this one. Neither did the surprises. I have been glued to the pages, not wanting to put it down, and now that it is done I have found myself in a book-funk. I highly recommend this series to all mythology lovers.

I enjoyed the conclusion! The whole series has been a roller coaster, but one that I very much enjoyed. I do think sometimes I was distracted by grammar/spelling issues and sometimes the characters acted a little young. But overall I was happy to see where everything ended up with this series!

I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily reviewing.

I’ve really loved reading this series. I’m so sad that this is the end. But maybe she left enough wiggly room to continue the series?? There is another series that I have my eye on. Defiantly good for a few retreads.

Ragnarok finally happened.
But not without great losses and sacrifices.
I dreaded this and now I am sad, like they are.
It’s realistic the survivors will have ptss.
But things can only get better now, I think.

Great series end...

I've loved this series from page 1 of the first book, and was glad to find out this set has a satisfactory ending...well, thus far.

This book is packed with adventure, and contains more mythological ties. I would recommend this book to readers looking for an entertaining book in the YA fantasy realm.

The Valkyrie journey with T.G. Ayer has sadly come to an end. Hours have been spent going on journeys to new lands, developing relationships with fictional characters,  and enjoying great writing.

Most of the Valkyrie series is an epic adventure. As this is the final installment in the series it takes on a dystopian vibe in preparation for the battle of Ragnarok.
There is more action than adventure. There is a lot of emotional angst to overcome as Bryn has not only laid her best friend to rest, but her first boyfriend as well. I truly felt the cloud of darkness that swept away Bryn on this emotional passage. Loki became enemy number one in my book as he caused vast amounts of demise with no qualms over the pain he pushed on everyone.

The ending caught me by total surprise.  It's hard to describe it without giving anything away. In a sense it is more of a short literary twist than plot twist. Venturing through mountains of journeys with fictional characters the norm has become to expect the unexpected and never the prediction.  This final installment is going throw people for a loop. Grab your copy today to find out what all of the hype is about. Want to start this journey?  The first book is free on amazon. A 5 star read!

Dead Silence by T.G. Ayer is the last novel in the Valkyrie Series. I have to say I’m kind of sad to see this great world with fabulous characters coming to an end.

Bryn has had a rouge journey in the last two books. She not only lost her best friend in this battle against Loki, but also her first boyfriend Adrian. But we all know Bryn is a fighter and with the help of her mentors, friends and other gods they will find a way to win this war.

I loved this series, I’ve read the books from the moment they were released and I loved them ever since. Tee has done an amazing job creating this world and their citizens. I knew Bryn was a fighter and was proud to see how she grew into this amazing strong young woman she was at the end.

I really hope Tee will write some more novels in this world with these characters, because somewhere I know there is so much more to tell land adventure.

This is definitely a series you have to check out if you love strong woman, vicious demons and amazing gods.

I am just completely blown away by this series!! From start to finish this was one fantastic ride. Full of action, adventure and heartbreak. The writing the whole way through is fantastic and the story never lags or drags on. I completely fell in love with all the characters and the direction of the story. I am a huge fan and cannot wait to share this series with my friends and followers. I cannot wait for them to experience this fantastic adventure!! I am a huge fan and will definitely be reading more from this author.

An exciting conclusion

While this portion of the story comes to a conclusion, I look forward to a more adult setting for further adventures. The mythology was great and I recommend this series.

Ragnarok is here, despite Bryn' s attempt to fight fate. Loki has been determined to change the prophecy so that he could be the one to kill Odin, but Bryn and her troops deny him that satisfaction. Great plot and characters, very well written, with lots of action and twists. Loved it!
