Falling in Love is something everyone dreams about. Just the thought of being in love is enough to immerse a person in happiness. The genuineness and feelings involved in a loving relationship has the tendency to take over your whole body, but there’s one thing. Is it forever? Like most people Layah never planned to fall in love, but when she did, she couldn’t stop it. Falling head first into this passionate relationship with Nassir Jordan, is anything but promising. Being from two totally different worlds brings about more complications than either of them are prepared for. Nassir is everything Layah could have ever dreamed of plus more. Those two things are a part of his everyday life. That is until he gives in to the feelings he’s grown for this upper-class beauty from the suburbs. Having grown up in the hood, Nassir believes in anything but happy endings. He’s learned the hard way that you must work for the things you want. Nassir had to become a man at a young age. How can a father leave his son like that knowing he had nobody else. Layah came into his life at the right time. That Forever kind of love it what everyone dreams of glad they found it. Amir and Mariah need their own story
Wow, I've been meaning to read one of the books by this author for sometime now and I finally picked this one and I couldn't put it down. It was beautifully written and it's a stand alone so that was an extra plus!!! The storyline was amazing and I loved all the main characters, it makes you think how special love can be!! Bravo to this author, you did an amazing job and I will be reading your other books
I enjoyed the story but the formatting was so bad I got irritated with trying to read it and put down several times. Nonetheless, the love story was great.
it was just okay the only think that I didn't like about this book was that the authors didn't really have a lot of details when it came to the character I just wish that they went into depth when it came to the characters but they didn't. As for nassir I felt sorry for him because as a child he had went threw a lot and had to grow up fast he basically had to raise himself because his father walked out on him and his mother died. As for Layah she had a lot of growing up to do I also understood her a little bit because she was so much shelter than her new found friends but must of all I am just glad that nassir life was turned around. And as for Mariah I don't blame her for moving own from Amir. P.S. This book was just only okay it had some good parts in the book that why I gave it a 3 stars.
One of my top 5 reads. Oh how I wish for a love like this. Nas and layaha were an amazing couple from the beginning to the end. Need i say more? (Review overdue)
This was a cute story about how teenage love turned into adult love. Nassir and Layla had their fair share of obstacles but they made it work. This was a real good read.
A must read book no doubt. Nas and layah meeting was fate it changed their lives. Nas and his best friend Amir are stick up kids trying to get by. Layah family moves from California and she has to adjust to a new school but hitting nas with her car was an accident. A budding friendship forms between the two over the years they manage to be close. Mariah and Amir getting together was hilarious, both crazy and quick at the mouth. Layah and nas go through college on different paths but can't seem to stay away from each other. A family secrets shocks both nas and layah, but finding out the truth they stick it out. Go read no more spoilers. A forever kind of love is definitely a hit.
This was a very refreshing change from the usual urban fiction I read. It was nice to have a love story that did not revolve around drug dealing and killing. The love between Layah and Nassir was special from the beginning and couldn't be denied. I would have loved to find out what became of Mariah and Amir and if they worked out their issues. Maybe we'll see their story was well in the future.
This was definitely a passionate love story of growing up,forgiveness and letting go.This is a well written story on growing love and them growing up and figuring out that sometimes love is really all you need. This is definitely not what you would expect first out the gate you get young drama and then you get wonderful imagination and creativity. This is one for the book club.
A different type of love story written here. This story was about two people from different worlds, however in reality Layah was actually in the same boat as Nassir. Without the type of lifestyle her parents were living without it Layah could have been struggling also and living on the same side of the tracks as Nassir. After all the back and forward these two went through I glad they finally got it together. I loved that this ended with a happy ending.
Good Love story I enjoyed Nassir and Layah's story I was upset it took them so long to get it together. All the secrets came toward the end of the book and seemed rushed. However it didn't take away from their love story. Mariah and Amir would be great story as well.
I so enjoyed this book, first time reading one of the author's books and I really got into the friendship between these two. Finally an urban book not based on him being a drug dealer and her running a hair salon!! Kudos to you ladies this was by far a 5 star read....
There are no words to describe how much I fell in love with this book. From beginning to end I was captivated by Layah and Nas' story. This isn't your typical hood dope boy novel, but it has some street tendencies. I think the story line is very much relatable with teenage and young love. I highly recommend this book!!
I really enjoyed this read, i really liked how Lay had money but never once was stuck up n was really feeling Nas, she ain't care if he was rich or poor she was feeling him, love conquers all n wen that chemistry is dere u know that person is for u n they had that foreva kinda love
The author did a real good job with this book. It was really a relaxing book that wasn't so full of drama. This book was a really good love story that took you from high school years to their life as adults . Who would have known all that they went th was because of their parents that they found true love. Great book and it was a complete book.
This story starts when Nas and Layah meet while in High School. They are each other's first love. This story goes through college and adulthood. They realize early on that they were meant to be together. Their love story transcends through life's ups and downs. I recommend this book.
I enjoyed this book, so many surprises. I loved how nassir and layah relationship grew. I felt sorry for the way nassir had to come up but I'm glad he made something of his self. It was a perfect ending. I would recommend this book to anyone. Very little violence in it also.
This was a Decent read but not my favorite by this author. The story began around 2014 and it ended in 2015. This was off putting because during this year the main characters graduated high school, graduated college, married, began professional careers and started a family. The timeline being so off was distracting.
Entertaining, hilarious, romantic and thrilling are just some of the words to describe this great book. the authors wrote this book beautifully, everything one would wish for in a great book...it's written in this. I'm such a fan of A'Zayler previous books and this story did not disappoint. If you haven't read it already...then what are you waiting for?
Manning this book was a page turner! When I sErve authors to th his book I had to read it and you both never disappoint. This s was such guidebook and I'm soon christian lad th his was a stand alone ed and not a cliffhanger. Keep them coming cause you all's writing skill are are on.point
I loves that this was a complete novel. I would definitely recommend this book. There were a few mistakes like names in the wrong spot but not so much you were confused. Nassir and Layah had a happily ever after type of love. These two were meant for one another. Thank you A'Zayler for putting the whole story in one book.
Nas and Layla, started off as teens in love and grew to adults in love. Ms. Thais did an excellent job telling this story. Great detail and an interesting read. One lick this book, you won't be disappointed.
This was such an amazing book. I loved it from beginning to end. I just wish Amir had gotten himself together so him and Mariah could have that happy ever after like Nassir and Layah. All in all AMAZING!!!!
I love this book so much, I couldn't put it down until I finished and yes this was a forever type of love story. I love layah and nas love for each other. I wish it could have been more about Amir and Mariah relationship too.
Now this was a good book! It was a full novel and had a great storyline. I really enjoyed every bit of this book! I fell in love with the characters as well. Great read!
I liked the story, was happy to see an author not write about drug dealers, violence, and sex. I like all the characters in the story especially Mariah. It also was a complete book, not a series, which was a huge plus.
Omg I loved, loved, loved this book. It was off the hooked, I now see why it received all those five stars. This Author did a great job and the book was long, well written and well worth the purchase.
