These are the adventures of Liam O'Brian in a blatant homage to Star Trek except in a much bleaker universe battling a very Borg-like enemy. It was fun seeing the parallels between Star Trek and these stories as some of the main characters and races were thinly disguised copies of characters we've all known for years.

Did that take away from the stories entertainment value? Not one bit!
