I hope you're sitting down as you're reading this because what I'm about to tell you will shock the hell out of you. You ready? IjustreadalovetriangleandIactuallylikedit. Did you get that? Because after all my blustering about never reading it, I think I just died a little inside admitting it. But holy shit, leave it to Carmen Jenner to make me love it. Somewhere right now, my friends, hell is surely freezing over.
I wish I could tell you I was shocked by the fact that it was this author that made it happen, but considering just how much I love her writing, it really isn't all that shocking. Carmen's characters are anything but conventional. Her heroines are sassy, sharp-witted, potty mouthed little hellions. And her heroes are to die for alphas with just that right touch of vulnerability. She's not afraid to go outside the conventional lines with her stories. She thinks outside the box and that's what makes me love her books as much as I do. She'll go there. Where most authors will shy away from certain scenarios, she charges into these things like a bull and knocks it out of the fucking park. I love it! But enough about my fangirling and lets get onto the review, shall we?
If you've read Enjoy Your Stay, then you'll remember Cooper Ryan; the sexy rockstar that lost his girl and his child to man from his woman's past. (And if you haven't read it, no worries because this book and series stands on its own). Left broken hearted and jaded, Cooper never wants to feel that way again. He'll never let himself get that vulnerable again. But when a sexy redhead literary comes stumbling into their meeting he seizes the opportunity to make her one of his contract demands. He wants her as the band's PA, even if she's glaring daggers at him at the mere mention of it.
Ali Jones hasn't exactly had the best year. Her boyfriend cheated on her with their stripper roommate. She's lost her grams and is now living out of her car with her grandmother's cat that clearly hates her guts. As much as she loves the industry and dreams of managing big names one day, the last thing she wants is to get on a tour bus with the too cocky for his own good rockstar. Even if he makes her nether regions go all aflutter.
The banter in this book alone is worth 5 stars. I was laughing like a loon the entire time reading this and couldn't stop. Carmen Jenner really brought her A game with this series. Holy shit! It was hysterical. There was a certain circle jerk incident, then there was a certain waxing incident, and through it all I was laughing so hard I had honest to gawd tears in my eyes.
In case you haven't caught on yet, yes this book is a love triangle. For a reader that avoids the mere mention of LT like a bad case of the clap, believe me when I tell you that it was handled well. Well enough that even this picky bitch loved it. There was no leading the reader around by the nose about who she might pick. There was no leading on of both men and wishy washy twatty heroines. Hell no! If more authors wrote love triangles this way, I'd probably read them a whole lot more.
As much as I loved Cooper, Levi, the rockstar with thegiant cock heart of gold stole my heart just the same. I simply couldn't get enough of him and his BOD. What's BOD you ask? Allow me to clarify
All clear now? Great!
The story is told in alternating POVs from Cooper and Ali and it really allows to fall for these characters, no matter what their faults or quirks may be.
There's plenty of other things that happen aside from the romance between them, but the romance was definitely the focus. It never deviated from it and even though another man was involved, it never took away from the main couple. What it did do, was add an absolutely sizzling touch to an already hot as fuck romance. Did I mention there's some hawt MFM scenes? Oh yes, my pervy friends, this book had it all. The only reason I'm not giving it a full 5 stars was because I wanted just a little bit more from that ending. It's definitely satisfying enough, but I still wanted more. I guess I'm just greedy like that. I'm not sure if their story will continue in the next book or Ali and Coop will just be featured in it, but whatever it is, I'll take it!
If you're looking for your next rockstar romance that's anything but conventional and will keep you laughing hysterically one minute and panting in lust the next, you just found your next read. I'm seriously in love with this series and cannot wait for more on the boys of Taint.

Although I didn’t finish the author’s prior series I do remember and liked the hot rock star Cooper Ryan. This story had a promising start and I liked Ali Jones background, her cat and her bitchy personality. Cooper is crazy attracted to her and gets her to work with his band. He’s nursing a broken heart after the love of his life took his child and left for her own hea with someone else. Their attraction and banter was exciting and I was ready for these two to get hot and heavy with one another.
Once Cooper brings Ali on tour with the group under false pretenses (Ali being capable of being manager someday was SO far-fetched to me – no skills whatsoever.) the direction of the story slipped for me with over the top tour bus shenanigans, druggings, and threesome loving. Cooper enters into a threesome relationship with Ali and Levi Quinn his band mate who sports a 12 inch member whom a reader can’t help but fall for.
However Cooper’s reasons for bringing forth this threesome scenario are pretty transparent.
”This here, bringing Levi into this room with us, is more than just proving a point – it ensures I won’t lose my fucking head. I want her so fucking much my balls tighten every time she walks in the damn room, but I want her on my terms. I want her body, I want to possess every single fucking thought that she has, but I don’t want to fall in love.”
Ali has always had feelings for Cooper but eventfully starts to care for Levi. Loving one just a bit more (or always meant to be) comes into effect when the guys feelings and the paparazzi come into play things fall apart.
"Now, now boys, there's enough of me to go around." Was there though? Or will their constant push and pull wear me too thin? At some point all three of us will have to face the reality of what we're doing here."
The story is a standalone and I liked how the author ended it but wished there was some of the final couple actually being together. ** I also had a hard time with the fact that once she was on tour with the group it never showed what she was actually doing for the band just that she was DOING the band.**
Overall this was for the most part an entertaining read that was steamy and brought the humor just on the relationship side I found it VERY lacking. Truth be told though threesome storylines aren't my thing as one usually is hurt in the end.

COOPER has been introduced in the previous series by this Author, in SUGARTOWN.He is Hollys ex and the father of her baby.She left him heart broken when she chose another man.
ALI is down on her luck,no home,no money,broken relationship and has just got her dream job working for Harbour Records.
LEVI band mate and long time friend of Cooper.
The story starts with the band Taint in a meeting with management when Ali enters the picture.Cooper is instantly attracted to her,not least because of her similarity to his ex Holly.He demands that she becomes their new PA and goes on Tour with them.She is very reluctant but has to agree to keep her job.
While her and Cooper are attracted to each other the situation with Levi is different...she hates him and this is where my niggles began
So their three way relationship starts...
Now I love Menage books but do have a problem with love triangles only because,inevitably someone is going to get left out....
"Now,now,boys,there's enough of me to go around"
Was there though?or will their constant push and pull wear me thin?
I have always loved Cooper but HOLY HELL Levi completely stole my heart,and it's got nothing to do with the 12 inches he's packing down below....Yes 12 inches!!... he's the ultimate Sexy Rock Star but also had a vulnerability to him.
This is definitely not a fluffy Rock Star book,with Alcohol and drug use and the sex....well it pretty much takes up the whole book....
I have to say I enjoyed the SUGARTOWN series more but this is still a great read and I am totally invested in reading more of this series to find out about the other band members..
So what happens with the love triangle?? My lips are definitely sealed.......

This was one hot book and I am definitely a new fan to this Aussie author. Revelry is the first in a new series following the rock band Taint.
Cooper Ryan was first introduced in Enjoy Your Stay when his girlfriend and baby mamma Holly, left him heartbroken. Don't worry though, this is a complete standalone so it is not necessary to have read it prior.
Feeling rejected and bitter, he is now a famous rockstar along with his childhood friends Levi, Zed & Ash. Enjoying semi-fame, they have been scheduled to go on a world tour in order to catapult their status to rock Gods.
When a red haired beauty, resembling Holly literally falls to his feet during a meeting with their record label, Coop decides that he will negotiate her into his demands.
Ali is homeless, after being kicked out of her recently deceased grandmothers house, she is now living in her car with her inherited crazy cat and finds it impossible to refuse to be the band's new PA, even though she hates these cocky bastards on sight.
This is not your regular love story, what appears to be a growing attraction between Ali and Coop, turns into a poly-amorous relationship which promises to deliver some scorching hot sex scenes and delicious sexual tension.
Levi Quinn is Coops band mate, and along with his 12 inch cock, he is never short of women. Ali soon sees behind the mask and finds it hard to resist his charm and sex appeal.
If you aren't into sharing in your books, then this may not be the book for you. But for me, HELL YES.
After a sizzling start however, things don't run smoothly for the sexy threesome. Fame and jealousy soon turn their affair into a hot mess of emotional turmoil and unfortunately for one of the three, a decision has to be made as to the future of their relationship for the good of their hearts and the band.
I loved all of the characters in this book, Ali with her potty mouth, Coop with his all round sweetness and Alpha ways, Levi with his arrogance and the rest of the band were cool too. Oh and lets not forget Coops sister, Debbie who seems to have a soft spot for Zed (I can't wait for that book if my inkling is right)
There were some very LOL moments too, which if you don't mind a bit of juvenile humour every now and again, will definitely have you smiling.
Overall, it was a very witty and sexy book, with a spattering of emosh.

You know this thing we all hate when it comes to books, the insta-love. Well that happened to me with this book. I knew when I first saw the cover and after I read the blurb that I was going to love Revelry. I had this feeling the book would be for me.
At the time, I never read a book by Carmen Jenner. But a few months ago I read Kick and to be honest I didn't enjoy it as much as I wanted. Still it didn't deter the fact I wanted to put my hand on Revelry.

I'm so pleased to have this opportunity to review the book. At the end, it was all I wanted and more
My first experience with Revelry was with teasers I received to share on my blog and I was stunned. I didn't expect the kind of teasers I've seen... it was a threesome.
So I re-read the blurb, just to check if there were some menage involved – I didn't seem to find any mention of it – But seriously that's ok. In fact it's more than ok. it's fucking awesome!!
I'm all for the booze, and sex when it comes to rockstars. Yep Revelry is all about that.
Sorry I'm rambling a lot and I didn't even started to talk about the book itself but I have to share my excitement about the whole thing.
I also want everyone to be aware that yes they are more than two people involved.
Is it a love triangle?
In some ways yes
Is it unbearable?
NOT AT ALL
There's one thing I've learn from both books I've read by Carmen Jenner is that she is an author who doesn't write traditional. She goes with the flow, she writes the way she wants, I'm sure the way she likes too and she will certainly take you a little out of your comfort zone BUT in Revelry there's one thing for sure there's only one guy who has the heroine heart and from the start you feel it, you know who it is and how it happens.
“Don’t ever say that again. Don’t ever think that you don’t matter to me, Ali. You do, but I’m ... I’m fucking terrified of letting you in.”
I don't read a lot of love triangle because I'm always left to pick a side or itleft my heart shattered.
Did I fall for the other guy? Yes Did I love him as much as Cooper? Not in this book but only the future will tell.
The conclusion of all this is: Don't let your fear of love triangle stop you to read Revelry
I loved Revelry so much because it gives me some "Sinners on Tour" vibes. I completely loved the series by Olivia Cunning and I was damn ecstatic to go back to rockstars, tour, groupies, tour buses, shows, music and band members.
Taint is a group who has to go in the USA for their tour. When Cooper Ryan set his eyes on Ali he does everything he can to hire her as their PA.
While Ali is not very happy about it, she hasn't got a choice. She lives in her car and she can't afford to refuse.
If you are looking for a nice, cute band, Taint is not for you. Levi, Ash and Zed are all for the party, drugs and booze.
I'm sincerely eager to read more about the three of them.
Levi is going to be a big treat and not because of his twelve inch cock, nope the guy has a giant heart and he doesn't really know it himself
Zed is going to be fun or at least I hope he will. He is the relax guy you want to be friend with.
Ash is quite the mysterious type. I'm wondering what he is hiding
And then there's Cooper Ryan...
Throughout the whole book I wanted to hug him so hard. Being left by his ex was not easy for him especially when his ex left with his kid.
“I think we could learn a lot from one another.”
“And just what do you think I can teach you, Coop?”
“To forget,” he whispers "
With Ali in the picture, he is so reluctant of letting his feeling go. He doesn't want to trust again.
Cooper and Ali's relationship may not be simple at first but they clicked from the moment they met
"I hate you.”
“No, you made it pretty clear last night that you didn’t hate me. And this morning, come to think of it.”
“You’re confusing me with my rabid vagina. Of course she likes you, Coop. You have a penis, and she hasn’t been thoroughly fucked in a long, long time. But me? I really dislike you.”
“Liar,”
Ali can pretend she doesn't like him all she wants, Cooper is never far to remind her what they share
“Sounds like you’ve given a lot of thought to how I look when I wake, Ali-Cat.”
“Oh, I have,” she admits, “I wouldn’t read too much into it, though. I’ve also thought of fifty ways I could murder you in your sleep.”
“Still, that’s fifty ways you were thinking about me.”
But it's because of his fear, that everything will lead him and Ali to experiment something with one of his band mate.
I was never scared for them. The writing is genuinely comforting. The author involves you in a journey of pleasure. And believe me, the sex scenes are perfect, pure, hot, sizzling and most importantly real

It's a wonderful start for her series. I'm dying to get my hand on the others books. Revelry was one of my most anticipated books this year and now I'm adding the whole series!
PS: Carmen Do you think you would write a little more about these two? A novella maybe? The ending was a little too short, don't you think?

Revelry left me a bit underwhelmed. There was just too much sex and too little story here.

2 Disappointing Stars
Working at Harbour Records was supposed to be Ali's first step in turning her life around. She's down on her luck, living out of her car, and now has to deal with a rock star used to getting everything that he wants. And what Cooper wants, is Ali. After she literally falls at his feet when she meets him, Ali is giving an ultimatum. Either tour with Taint or be unemployed once again.
The book started off good, and I was really interested in finding out more about Cooper. But then nothing happened! He met Ali, made her his new PA, she followed around the band and witnessed their drugging and whoring ways, and that was about it for the first half of the book.Despite not keeping my interest for long, it was still an okay story for the first half. I still had an insane need to get more of Coopers history, and Ali was actually kind of funny.
Then the second half of the book happened, and it seemed like a completely different story. It took a really weird direction that I wasn't expecting at all, nor did I understand it. Be prepared for this rant. Ali gets upset that Cooper called her his exes name so she decided so be a complete fuckwit the rest of the night, does some drugs, sleeps with Levi, and then the next morning actually tries to blame Levi for it and say he took advantage of her. Own up to it, bitch! This made me so mad! I didn't understand it AT ALL and then they get into some weird threesome relationship? I'm all for threesomes, don't get me wrong, but this was just weird, didn't seem real at all, and there were no emotions in it.
The second half of the book is what pushed this down from being a meh book to being a get this over with, already! book. There was a lot of sex, a lot of jealousy, tons of drama, and I was SO over it. I never actually got the story about Coopers past, Ali didn't do anything except have sex, and then got mad after she found out and she got so upset and was going to leave and blah blah blah. If I found out someone did that for me I think I would be grateful not a total bitch about it.
I had high hopes that it would get better, and was just waiting for more information to come up about Cooper so I could connect to his character some, but it never did. I never actually got to find out much about any of the characters. The other members were barely mentioned and were just kind of there, I didn't really see them as a band and they didn't seem to connect well.
Overall, this didn't work out for me. If the second half didn't change so drastically I probably wouldn't of had a problem with it. In the beginning I thought it was going to be a totally different book, especially after Ali dissed the band and pointed out what was wrong with them. I thought for sure the rest of the story would be them getting their act together, and Ali being a kick ass manager for them (her dream job). I am curious about the other members and what's going to happen with them, but I don't think I'll continue with this series as it doesn't seem to be my thing.

First things first, I absolutely adore and love Carmen Jenner. There is no ifs, and, buts about it, I will one-click and read anything Carmen writes. If you are familiar with her books, then you know that she doesn't do the conventional lovey-dovey romance stories. Instead she gives you real, flawed, raw and vulnerable characters whose actions and emotions are the main aspect of the story-line. With her wicked and brilliant story-telling, Carmen douses her readers with pure raw emotions that are tangible and palpable. She allows her readers to FEEL. And in her newest release, REVELRY, I felt every range of emotions from sadness, loneliness, happiness, bliss, pleasure and love.
If you read Carmen's Sugartown series, then you would have met Cooper Ryan, a rocker whose ex left him brokenhearted. Reeling from the heartache that Holly Harris left, Cooper didn't want to fall in love again and give his heart to anyone again that is until he met another fiery sassy mouth red-hair that he craved. Ali Jones was everything that Cooper craved and desired. She didn't back down to him. The chemistry between them was sizzling and palpable. So as the PA of Cooper, she tried to keep her distance and keep it a working relationship that is until a love triangle/menage occurs with Cooper, Ali, and Levi, a fellow band mate of Cooper for his band TAINT. As this rocker love triangle/menage occurs, will Cooper be able to share Ali knowing that he belongs to her the moment she laid her eyes on him?
I usually don't like to read love triangles but for some reason Carmen has bewitched me with REVELRY. This book had a love triangle done right because all parties knew going in on what they were doing and the consequences of their actions. And ultimately the decision on which guy Ali ends up with is her decision alone. What I love about this book is that both men vying for the heart of Ali were able to capture and tug my heartstrings. Though this book might not be everyone since it does contain drug use, M/F/M and love triangles, I will say that Ms. Jenner did this book tastefully. She douses this book with humor, banter, sass, sadness, and passion that you can't help but revel in the pure bliss of love and the matters of the heart.
As always, I am addicted to Carmen's writing and can't wait to see what she has in store for the next installment, Hurt.

This book was so hard for me to rate. SO HARD. To me, it had everything that qualifies as a five star book. There was humor, love, heartbreak and some really (and I mean REALLY) amazing sex. Seriously ladies, just buy a bulk-size container of batteries, because Carmen Jenner has managed to created the hottest and most beautiful literature porn in existence. In existence!! That is no small feat.

Here’s the thing... Carmen Jenner is one of those authors that I know is going to push my book boundaries with every new release, and yet, I couldn’t say no to a book with her name on the cover if I tried. For the record, I’ve never tried, and I never fucking well will. Because in pushing my boundaries, she has repeatedly given me fantastic, unique, funny, sexy, dark and angsty stories, made my heart bleed, made my heart soar and made me curse, loudly. Just like with Revelry.
I seriously want to slap-hug-tackle-lick Carmen Jenner right about now. Revelry was epic; hilarious in places, off the charts HOT at times, and left my poor heart mashed in a little, barely-beating ball of agony. I can’t decide if I love Ali Jones for being the feisty PA of this ridiculously awesome group of men, or if I hate her because she’s not me and I’m not her. She was a great lead character – conflicted, independent, sassy, kinky and indecisive as hell, which I can completely relate to. She just appealed to me, I was invested in her, so clearly her charisma didn’t just affect Cooper and the boys...she got me too.
And speaking of those boys….*sigh* Hot rock stars aren’t something I tend to love often, but here? Here I have mad love. They’re deliciously fucked-up, all of them, and I can see wanting read and read and read about all of them...and then find someone who’s in the same boat and talk about them all night long.
Cooper was someone I never truly got a handle on in the excellent Sugartown series, but I wanted to know him and I was excited to find that he was getting a book. I loved that Ms. Jenner worked his failings with Holly into Revelry – albeit in a way that was unobtrusive and easy to follow for those that haven’t yet caught up with that series. Which, incidentally, they need to. Everyone needs to visit Sugartown.
Revelry put me through the ringer a little. I am more of a hearts-and-flowers girl, but I know by now that Ms. Jenner isn’t going to give me that. No, wait...she’s not going to give me just that. She gives so much more, even if I tell myself I don’t want it; that I don’t want to ride an emotional roller coaster and bleed for those that get hurt. And that I don’t want to tear up at the thought of someone losing and aching and being left behind.
Oh, who am I kidding? Of course I want that, if it’s as well-written and fucking addicting as it is here. I want MORE of it, and I want it right. the fuck. now. ~ Beth, 5 stars

HOLY, HOT DAMN! Revelry is the story of two broken souls, Cooper and Ali, who find a way to each other… And let’s not forget the hardcore rockers, who make girls want to drop their panties at every turn.
Now, let’s move on to the fun stuff. While reading this book, I had to fan myself from the smokin’ HOT love scenes. Then, less than two seconds later, I was laughing so hard, people were turning their heads and staring. These are both marks of an amazing book in my world.
Make sure to keep a change of panties close by, they will come in handy! From the beginning, you’ll wonder where this is going and what is going to happen. Each time I thought I had something figured out, I didn’t.
Revelry pushed my boundaries of “appropriate” on some level, because I know I’m a bit uptight, but it never made me want to stop reading (and it’s not what anyone will think). I recognized that it was part of the story and needed to be told. I’m hoping for more of the bands’ stories, including Zedd, Levi and Ash! ~ Heather, 5 stars

Well, I am hungover after reading this book. But in a great way.
Revelry is an “in your face” romance, one you won’t be able to put down. It is gritty and raw, but at the same time, full of love, devotion, and hope.
This book made me giggle, made me hot, and gutted me over and over. For anyone who is a fan of Carmen’s books, this one is a no-brainer for you. Honestly, this is one of the best books in my opinion. It’s fantasy (for most of us) but real enough that we can all relate to one part or another.
There are parts that will be tough for some readers, and I understand that this will not be everyone’s cup of tea. After all, there is drug use, M/F/M scenes, broken hearts, an evil pussy, and enough drama to fill a soap opera.

This book utterly charmed me. These boys were ruthlessly crass and completely oversexed and I fell in love with every last one of them. Their overgrown man-child antics had me laughing out loud and their boisterous camaraderie was heartwarming. But, what? You say this wasn’t actually a book about a bunch of dudes hanging out?
Oh yeah, the romance.
The romance was brutal.
Fucking sexy as all get out. I mean, supplies you may want to have on hand when reading this book include: extra panties, a we-vibe, batteries, and privacy. The physical chemistry in this book is off the charts and it’s safe to say that I felt it. Everywhere. *fans self*
“His hand brushes my waist as he walks away and I practically have to tame my vagina with a whip and chair to keep her back.”
That was pretty much me, during every sex scene in this book.
Crazy, sexy, steamy times aside, the romance actually was, as I said, kind of brutal. It seemed to take these people forever to pull themselves together. When my heart wasn’t beating in overtime during the sexy times, it was often breaking for the confusion and hurt they were inflicting on each other. In between all that there’s some swoony affection and banter. I loved these and hated these characters in almost equal measure, which I think is a sign of a well-written book.
In the end, I was satisfied. The rollercoaster ended on a high and while not everyone got a happy ending, there was enough of a happy ending to keep me satisfied (er…pun intended?), and looking forward to the next one.
If you like crazy, dirty, emotional rollercoaster rides that make you laugh out loud one minute and want to throw your Kindle across the room the next, you’re not going to want to miss this one! ~ Shelly, 4 stars

Now, let’s move on to the fun stuff. While reading this book, I had to fan myself from the smokin’ HOT love scenes. Then, less than two seconds later, I was laughing so hard, people were turning their heads and staring. These are both marks of an amazing book in my world.
Make sure to keep a change of panties close by, they will come in handy! From the beginning, you’ll wonder where this is going and what is going to happen. Each time I thought I had something figured out, I didn’t.
Revelry pushed my boundaries of “appropriate” on some level, because I know I’m a bit uptight, but it never made me want to stop reading (and it’s not what anyone will think). I recognized that it was part of the story and needed to be told. I’m hoping for more of the bands’ stories, including Zedd, Levi and Ash! ~ Heather, 5 stars

Well, I am hungover after reading this book. But in a great way.
Revelry is an “in your face” romance, one you won’t be able to put down. It is gritty and raw, but at the same time, full of love, devotion, and hope.
This book made me giggle, made me hot, and gutted me over and over. For anyone who is a fan of Carmen’s books, this one is a no-brainer for you. Honestly, this is one of the best books in my opinion. It’s fantasy (for most of us) but real enough that we can all relate to one part or another.
There are parts that will be tough for some readers, and I understand that this will not be everyone’s cup of tea. After all, there is drug use, M/F/M scenes, broken hearts, an evil pussy, and enough drama to fill a soap opera.

This book utterly charmed me. These boys were ruthlessly crass and completely oversexed and I fell in love with every last one of them. Their overgrown man-child antics had me laughing out loud and their boisterous camaraderie was heartwarming. But, what? You say this wasn’t actually a book about a bunch of dudes hanging out?
Oh yeah, the romance.
The romance was brutal.
Fucking sexy as all get out. I mean, supplies you may want to have on hand when reading this book include: extra panties, a we-vibe, batteries, and privacy. The physical chemistry in this book is off the charts and it’s safe to say that I felt it. Everywhere. *fans self*

That was pretty much me, during every sex scene in this book.
Crazy, sexy, steamy times aside, the romance actually was, as I said, kind of brutal. It seemed to take these people forever to pull themselves together. When my heart wasn’t beating in overtime during the sexy times, it was often breaking for the confusion and hurt they were inflicting on each other. In between all that there’s some swoony affection and banter. I loved these and hated these characters in almost equal measure, which I think is a sign of a well-written book.
In the end, I was satisfied. The rollercoaster ended on a high and while not everyone got a happy ending, there was enough of a happy ending to keep me satisfied (er…pun intended?), and looking forward to the next one.
If you like crazy, dirty, emotional rollercoaster rides that make you laugh out loud one minute and want to throw your Kindle across the room the next, you’re not going to want to miss this one! ~ Shelly, 4 stars

Which is exactly what these spoiled rock stars need. Ali may have some animosity due to Cooper's demanding ways, but she can't deny the feelings she has for him. Underneath his cockiness is a sensitive guy. A caring guy, still harboring feelings for a different redhead.
Cooper isn't the only rockstar falling for Ali's smart ass and snarky mouth, though.
Levi also has his eyes on her. And one night of too much drinking and hurt feelings starts a sexy lust triangle.
Ali, after spending so much time lonely, rolls with the punches. Until she becomes the punching bag and a band once built on family and friendship is cracking from rivalry, jealousy and mistrust. Hard decisions have to be made and hearts will undoubtedly be broken.
Taint is a little more lighthearted and fun then the last couple of Jenner's novels. It's not all fun and games, this is still a romance between two people so afraid to love again they'll fall into sexual chemistry with abandon to keep it from happening again. You feel for Cooper's confusing emotions, you fall in love with Levi's way of hiding behind a huge labido. You hope for them all to find some sort of happiness.
But this is really Cooper's story and it's one I was very glad to read.
Jenner has created a great cast of characters with the Taint boys and the take-no-punches girls who love them. I'm excited to see where the series goes and how these unique guys end up finding love.
In the effort of being transparent, this book was dedicated to me. Carmen is a good friend and I adore her and what she gave to me in Revelry. I'm telling you I loved it but maybe I'm biased. However, if you're a fan of Jenner's, I think you'll love this start to what promises to be a fun series.

Revelry was like watching a Jim Carey movie. You know...so stupid it's funny!
Ali's job was to be an assistant for the band. They pushed her to go on tour with them. While on tour the only thing she assisted was to screw two members of the band. lol Not one time after they went on tour did she do anything to get paid...job wise.
This book is funny as hell! I laughed so hard at the stupidness I had tears streaming.
It also had some pretty smoking hot sex. M/F/M and F/M.
Levi and his 12 inches! Whew!
I hated the ending!
Did she fall in love with them both or did she break one of their hearts?
You will have to tackle this one to find out!

Awh, mi sono totalmente innamorata di Cooper Ryan e dei suoi sorrisetti. Sono proprio cotta gente. Nonostante volessi leggere Closer, ignorando completamente Revelry, ho deciso comunque di dare una chance a quest'ultimo, dal momento che ho scoperto che i due libri sono praticamente collegati, nonostante trattano due coppie differenti.
Perchè sono collegati, vi chiederete? Beh, questa non è solo la storia di Coop e Ali, ma è anche la storia di Levi e Ali. Si, qui c'è un po' di MFM, giusto tre/quattro scene, e io non essendo una fan dei menage ho voluto comunque provarci, ma sinceramente non c'entrava proprio niente con la storia, l'ho trovato alquanto inutile. Ma partiamo con ordine.
Ali è una ragazza squattrinata che lavora per la casa discografica in cui lavorano i Taint, una rock band che sta spopolando in tutto il mondo. Decidono di assumerla come PA e parte quindi per un tour mondiale insieme a loro. Inizialmente l'attrazione che si respira fra Coop e Ali è talmente alta che bisogna accendere il condizionatore, poi lui è davvero sexy e adorabile, non si puo resistergli. Ma c'è un problema. Anche Levi è attratto da Ali e farebbe di tutto per averla. E dal momento che anche Ali capisce di essere attratta da entrambi gli uomini, la soluzione è una sola. Farseli entrambi, e insieme. Iniziano così una sorta di relazione a tre (niente M/M, non preoccupatevi, a loro piacciono le donne). Come ho scritto sopra, l'ho trovata una cosa senza senso. Innanzitutto, Ali è davvero una cretina, e onestamente non capivo cosa ci trovassero di così affascinante in lei, forse i capelli rossi? Anche io sono stata una red-head e devo ammettere che facevo colpo, quindi puo anche darsi, chi lo sa! Ma io proprio non ci vedevo niente di bello e di decente in questa ragazza. Era chiaro sin dall'inizio che a lei piaceva Cooper ma ha deciso di complicare tutto semplicemente perchè Levi le faceva sangue, ed è proprio quest'ultimo infatti, alla fine, a finire con il cuore spezzato. Ora capite perchè ho detto inutile.
Se non fosse stato per una protagonista così antipatica e sgrezza, che dice parolacce in ogni frase anche quando non servono, probabilmente la lettura sarebbe anche stata perfetta. Togliendo sempre quel menage insignificamente, ovviamente.
Ora sono curiosa di leggere Closer, perchè ovviamente anche Levi merita di essere felice, quel povero cucciolo disgraziato.

Coop’s book. Okay so I do admit that Mr. Ryan had to win me over a bit, I was not a fan of his from his Sugartown days ( #TeamJackson all the way! ), but I can say without a doubt that I was easily won over. Cooper Ryan was downright delicious!
Cooper Ryan’s life was in a downward spiral. After being left by Holly (with his child) for another man, he was slowly drowning in the booze and the fame. But all that was about to change when one daring outburst tosses another red head into his path. Ali.
Ali was on the brink of being swallowed alive by life. Alone, living in her car and having her dream job threatened if she refuses to become the personal assistant for one Mr. Cooper Ryan. Saying no to going on tour isn’t an option, at least not when Cooper Ryan is insisting you go.
Off the charts chemistry, sexual tension and a little bit of hate fuels this relationship into something explosive and utterly unexpected.
So, Ms. Jenner.... where do I even begin. What the heck did I just read? I’ll tell you – one hot as f*ck read, that is what I read. I never in a million years would have guessed this story was heading in THAT direction. But holy-h*ll did it veer off into a fantastical fantasy world where, this girl was wishing on every star to live the life of this destitute girl for just ten minutes.

Again, we get a solid read that is filled with some of the hottest sex scenes that I’ve read in a while and such humor that I could not keep the laughs to a reasonable level. If you have not read this author, you are missing out. Her humor is quirky and witty, a complete stand out from others in this genre. Where so many attempt, Ms. Jenner succeeds. Able to make her books not only humorous and sexy, but intense and oh-so-emotional when needed. She pulls you through the low times and catapults you during the high times. There is no room for just okay in these stories, it is just brilliant.
Another stunningly sexy, hysterical, witty and emotional read from Carmen Jenner. I can’t not wait for Levi’s book. Like, I might die if she does not hit publish like right now.

Oh man where do I even try to begin to explain this book because oh my lawd it was pure hotness on a freaking stick! Carmen Jenner has this uncanny ability to make her characters likable and you can’t help but to fall in love with them. Its official I’m a Taint Groupie and proud of it. I love all those boys le sigh.
Before I begin, two words: Love Triangle. And I've read love triangle stories before but this one will tug at your heart strings a bit and just like the heroine you’ll fall head over heels for both men.

From that moment on Coop becomes jaded and heart broken. He doesn't know how he’ll make it through until the moment he meets Ali Jones. And in that instant he knows he has to have her, so he makes her a part of his contract demands. He wants her as the band’s PA no matter the cost. Let’s just say things get a whole lot interesting.

As always Carmen knows how to make her heroines sassy, witty, feisty, and funny as all hell. She did not disappoint with Ali. Her dialogue always had me laughing out loud. She may hate Coop’s guts but she can’t help being attracted to his smirk and his arrogant swag. Seriously, I don’t blame her at all. Coop is one beautiful sexy man who’s vulnerable and sweet yet a total alpha.
Holy banter and sexual tension. Ugh the threesome is what makes this book bloody vajayjay-fanning worthy because ladies not only is Coop hot but there’s also Levi, Zed, and Ash. Yummy. I love them all!!!
So let’s take a moment to appreciate Levi Quinn. He’s got a heart of gold and a massive c*ck. He’s also vulnerable and he protects himself by being the manwhore and the jokester. Like Coop, he’s attracted to Ali and ultimately it comes down to who does Ali stay with at the end?

Or maybe it was the heroine and her over-the-top sarcastic personality ? Sassy and sarcastic characters are my absolute favorite, but the way she was acting was so unnatural it made me wanna punch her.

I make it a point not to make assumptions about books before diving into them, I tried and failed hopelessly with Revelry however, from reading and re reading the Sugartown series more times than I can count over the last two years I'd built up an image of Cooper in my head, when Ms Jenner started alluding to his novel over a year ago and I read the ️blurb I was instantly smitten. I never disliked Cooper, he was never a bad guy as such, in another place and another time he could of been perfect with Holly, but unfortunately in Enjoy Your Stay (SUGARTOWN #2) he just wasn't Jackson, he was never really even competition, you know that old adage that the heart wants what the heart wants... well that rings true for me when I think of Holly and Cooper, and sadly Holly's heart always laid with Jackson.
For new readers to Carmen Jenner you're probably wondering what I'm talking about, have no fear though, Revelry is a stand alone, it forms the first book in the new Taint series, a rough and tumble look at a band of Aussie rockers as they take on the world wide music scene.
From reading the blurb all those months ago, Cooper wasn't the only one I had pigeon holed a certain way, I had even envisioned Ali, our new heroine in such as way that the more I read the more I had to reconcile the way I imagined her with the way Ms Jenner wrote her, and there lies the authors talent for taking something you think you know and flipping it upside down, leaving you standing there, staring at you kindle, mind blown, completely flabbergasted.
Revelry is a departure from Jenner's other works, she had said before I began beta reading this book that it would be different, I was expecting the sizzling heat I'd come to expect from her while being lighter, less gut wrenching emotion while still maintain her trademark wit and homor, I was right and yet so completely wrong, because despite having a decidedly lighter feel, Revelry still captured my heart and took me on a journey in such a way that I was both lost and found in her words, in the world she created.
Carmen Jenner likes to push the envelope, with a history of dark and brooding bikers, cutters, fiery redheads and smooth talking country boys, I've gotten used to being challenged when I pick up one of her books, but I found myself wildly blushing in parts of Revelry in ways I wasn't expecting. Ali has had a year from hell, losing her grandmother, to finding her boyfriend in bed with their skanky stripper roommate, to her apartment to being left with nothing but her older than Jesus car and ornery cat and the clothes on her back things can't get much worse... Until a chance run in with Cooper Ryan and the members of Taint sets her life on a course she could of never anticipated.
Ali isn't the only one who's had a rough year, Cooper found out the woman he loved was carrying his child and despite having the financial trappings to buy Holly a new life away from Sugartown he wasn't enough, and it's left him drowning himself in fast women and alcohol, leaving him a shadow of the man he once was. He doesn't want to look at another the woman the way he once did Holly but when a snarky red head falls at his feet and he feels more spark towards a woman than he has since the day Holly walked out of his life he sets a plan in motion to have Ali on his tour bus and hopefully in his bed. You know the saying... what happens on tour stays on tour... With four Aussie rockers, a tour across America, cramped living conditions, the kind of magnetic chemistry that could cause your panties to self combust and an urban legend about a 12in .... monster.... things are about to get real for Taint.
Even with all of this taking place, Ali and Cooper aren't the only ones experiencing growing pains as it were, unbeknownst to Cooper, his band member and brother from another mother Levi is also lost in a world of fame and groupies, never one to want anything more than one night Levi has set his sights of the fiery red head as well. Ali intrigues him, she's sexy as hell, but her snarky demeanor has him interested in more than just a roll in the hay.
When a series of events find Ali using Levi to make her feel not so alone, he realises there's more to his connection to her then just the physical. The further down the rabbit hole this sexual awakening takes Cooper, Ali and Levi the more apparent it becomes that the tenuous line they are all walking will become blurred, feelings will be hurt and this house of cards they've built will come crashing down. The sexual chemistry blooming between these three is omnipotent, it's raw and the more I read the more it seeped through the pages lighting my blood on fire. I felt every reverent touch, every dirty, naughty word, every caress across my skin. I wanted these three to find their own kind of happy, but the more these three connected on a physical level the more I could feel the distance growing on an emotional one. The precarious balance they had built was slowly crumbling and the world that had brought them more pleasure then they had ever known would soon become collateral damage.
What I was expecting with Revelry was to lose myself for a couple of hours, and I did no question, what I wasn't prepared for was the sheer beauty of being transported to a tour bus, and living this journey with Ali and Cooper, Levi and Ash, Zed and Deb like a fly on the wall to every crazy part of their adventure. RockStar MARATHON
So, up to the point where the h fucks Levi (OM/H2/rockstar) for the first time...before H1/h even get it on...5 stars.
Count them...1.2.3.4.5.
Even though the sex was off page, I'm still pleased as fuck it was the h that fucked another when shit went south and not the tried and true H/rockstar and OW/groupie scenario...I mean talk about a 180* plot device ;)
But then it tumbles into creepy-hot m/f/m scenes that turn the ménage into an emotional and sexual triangle, while, you guessed it, they keep the m/f/m going. (*eye-roll*)
Although, the waxing scene...OMG.
It totally made up for the circle jerk.
I'm 3 staring this just because I can. It was still better than some of my last 2 star reads and, although I hated pretty much all of the characters, it kept me reading. I didn't care for the h anymore at one point, H1 shoulda stopped this shit from even happening, and H2 kinda pissed me off by the end and I really questioned his motives for being in the threesome. I liked the plot dynamic of a ménage gone wrong. I loved the angst of the fireworks...but not liking the characters or having any type of investment in their HEA...yeah, that's why it stays at 3 stars.

Three is a party...
Cooper Ryan is a rock star, living the dream between booze and groupies. If only he could get over his girlfriend leaving him for another guy and taking his baby with her. And then he meets Ali, who looks too much like Holly...
Ali Jones life is no dream: her boyfriend cheated, her grandmother died and she's left without a home and money. And her dream Job turns into a nightmare when rockstar Cooper Ryan demands her as his bands PA and she has to hit the road with four rockers acting pubescend.
Throw in a night full of alcohol and drugs, another uber-hot band mate and his 12 inches and this turns into a mess of feelings, fame and jealousy.
While this steamy triangle might not be everyone's cup of tea, it's full of irrational intense feelings and different from so many rockstar stories out there. And I didn't feel to much angst, which is strange with all these emotions going on. Like Cooper inviting Levi into bed with them to not lose his head and heart and Levi falling for the first time and then ending up in a toxic triangle, where they're all in too deep to save anyone...
It's also a lot of fun and often awkward. Like walking into a circle jerk, seriously? And the waxing tragedy? How is all that plus the whole band knowing what's going on from the very first encounter in the plane not awkward for Ali? She says it is a few times but then she walks around all touchy and flirty with both guys in front of everyone.
The characters are anything but conventional and how they get carried away with their tangled feelings, jealousy and lust - it's not at all relatable but I can see where they're coming from.
And I also don't always need relatable to enjoy a story. Cooper and Levi being really hot rock stars helped me to get comfortable with the story, same as Coopers confessions about being selfish and helping her with her situation, Levi all the time staying withing some boundaries I wondered he knew about and some other surprises I didn't see coming.
There's a lot of wrong on so many levels but it's a good story and I like to be pushed out of my comfort-zone-romances. I still can't get over Levi calling her while with someone and that I needed one week past reading this to realize what a big deal Connor flying in actually was.
Now I really want Levi and a steamy happy end for him.

Fucking phenomenal! I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review, and that's my honest opinion. This was my very first book to read by Carmen Jenner and I can't believe I've deprived myself of her writing skills all this time.
I don't know the correct literary/writing terminology to use, but just know her writing style is unique. You feel like you're experiencing everything the characters are. The language is totally informal, quirky and funny as hell. Since I don't know how to describe it correctly, here's an example: "but the universe is a cock-sucking bitch that needs to choke on a rotten whale's vagina." I shit you not....it says that. I was laughing so hard I was afraid I would awaken my family at two in the morning. Why two in the morning? Because no way in hell was I stopping this bitch before finishing it!
The story is based around a rock band named Taint. They hire a new assistant named Ali who ends up going on tour with them. Poor Ali is now homeless as the result of walking in on her live-in boyfriend giving their stripper roommate (right...I know...) a ride ON HIS FACE!! Needless to say that relationship is over.
Cooper is the bands lead singer and was recently dumped by his pregnant girlfriend after she left him for another man. He's spent all his time since being horribly drunk and depressed.
Levi is....well, no one is sure how Levi really benefits the band, but what he does do is fuck every groupie who is willing, and they're ALL willing. Rumor has it that he has a twelve inch cock...and knows how to use it. Yum.
There are other band members- Zed, Ash, and Coop's sister Deb who acts as an assistant of sorts. They're all fascinating and well developed supporting characters but the plot revolves around the single most messed up love triangle ever- Ali, Coop and Levi.
I was anxiously awaiting the sex in this book and it did not disappoint. These men know what they're doing and enjoy doing it. Lucky, lucky Ali. But it can't ever stay just about sex, can it? Humans were created with feelings, and dammit- they hurt sometimes. Sometimes they hurt a whole hell of a lot for everyone involved.
No details will be revealed here because I want you to enjoy this fucked up crazy ride just as much as I did. Have no fear, there is an HEA, but not for everyone and I can't wait for the next book in the series to read about the aftermath of the decisions made in this one. Congrats Carmen Jenner, you've gained a new loyal fan....now excuse my while I go off and by the rest of her books!!
