If Cleo isn't writing (or reading!) erotica, she's probably sitting on her balcony, watching the wind blow through the trees. She loves snowstorms, horses, and piña coladas. If she won the lottery, she would hire an assistant to take care of the technical side of e-publishing so that she could write all day.

Some random facts about Cleo:
1. Thinks life's too short to forgo HEAs and HFNs.
2. Sprained an ankle joining the mile-high club. (Never again!)
3. Favorite writers include Cormac McCarthy, Junot Diaz and Rachel Caine.
4. Gets weak-kneed for bookish guys who know how to fix things with their hands. *swoons*

Emmalina & her sister Angelina recently suffered the loss of their guardian & the primary household income. In her grief Angelina has turned to drugs becoming an addict. Unbeknownst to Emmalina her sister Angelina has taken out a $10,000 loan from the Wolfpack using the family farm as collateral. Emmalina is a waitress & lives well below the poverty line the farm makes enough to pay taxes & she rents a trailer as added income. Needless to say she can't cover the loan to the local Wolfpack & will be losing the family farm. Desperate to save the only asset she owns she makes an spur or the moment decision to "lure the pack". Unfortunately she has absolutely no knowledge of what that entails.

I listened to the audible version of this & the narrator sucked. That's not to say it's the reason for the 1 star review. I hated the writing, thought the h TSTL & made absolutely no connection to any of the cardboard characters. My interest in the survival of the drug addicted sister or the likelihood of the h keeping her home was exactly nil. In fact while reading the original luring scene I kept hoping a giant bear would eat her. I hated the h she was weak & air headed. Throughout the book I thought "Oh Poor little poor girl needs someone to hold her hand, think for her, & make everything better." I was in serious danger of rolling my eyes straight out of their sockets. The sex scenes were dull as fuck. I'm sure I've made my extreme dislike of this story clear. You may be asking why'd I finish the story? Honestly the story was a train wreck & like most rubberneckers I couldn't help but attempt to make out every gruesome detail of the accident. 1 star rating no I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone. Worse book (that I finished) this year.

I love a well written book that has you panting for more, l love it when a Author keeps you on the edge, trying to anticipate what will happen next. When they keep you hanging, where the tension builds and you just want to jump into the book, or you feel your there with them. This is how CLEO writes.
The story is enticing and draws us along to such a wonderful panty twisting ending. The shifters in this book are exciting, dominate, powerful and very sexy. It has just the right amount of tension and mystic. I loved it.
