“Sworn to protect and serve”, a motto which they only applied to themselves, Cornell and Arnald have been partners on the Atlanta Police Department for seven years. For nearly as long, they have been partners in crime. When one decides to use trickery, deception and betrayal against his partner, tensions form. With his most prized possession now caught in his partner’s web of lies, and the knife of betrayal still lodged in his back, he decides to exact his revenge. His hatred and revenge begin a crescendo which leads to a climactic ending that no one could have predicted.
Calvin Alexander was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He is the youngest of four siblings. He spent his latter teens in Texas where he first became interested in writing, frequenting many poetry readings in the downtown Austin area. He completed his first work, entitled Tales, in 1998 which was abuzz locally. Now, 17 years later, he has completed his first full length novel, Grimy. Calvin currently resides in the Atlanta area and is the proud father of two sons.
