This Book Is Also One Of My Childhood Collection Book From Scholastic Book Fairs That Used To Happen In Our School. I Was In 5th Standard When I Had Bought This Book And It Was Published In 2005. This Book Has Some Great Illustrations Of The Solar System And The Galaxies And The Descriptions Of All The Planets, Comets, Stars, And Asteroids Have Been Given Nicely. I Feel Even An Adult Will Enjoy Reading This Book. In Short I Really Enjoyed Reading This Book Once Again And Reliving My Childhood Days.😊🙏💫

I liked this book because it's very kid friendly. The words are larger and grouped together in different colored boxes based on its subtitles and its not overly wordy like some informational books tend to be. I also like how the author tried to make the enormous sizes of objects in space easier to comprehend by comparing them to everyday objects. For example, "About one million planets the size of Earth could fit inside [the sun]! If you drew the sun the size of a quarter, the earth would be the size of a period at the end of this sentence." The author used a lot of examples similar to this through out the book.

I would use this book during a unit about the solar system as well as when we discuss comparisons (mostly size.)
