The third book in the Gator McBumpypants series introduces another character into Gator's life, which creates a social situation that places him in an uncomfortable position, something our children face and can identify with on a daily basis. The author, Maria Berg, continues to delight children with more tales of Gator using her creative storytelling and whimsical presentation, as every turn of a page reveals a new color photograph of the characters as they "live" the story, a unique and highly engaging medium in a children's book.

"DeeDee Makes Three" is highly readable by parents and children alike, whether for the fun photographs or as a night time tale that leaves everyone feeling good. Great work, Ms. Berg!

After the first two, my daughter was really looking forward to this one. It did not disappoint, and was filled with more antics of Gator and Herman, this time with their new friend. The duck is my daughter's favorite animal, so her enthusiasm when she saw the cover of this book was fantastic! Great, fun story, and as with the first two, it receives my daughter's definitive seal of approval. Enjoy!

I greeted this book with great expectations of continuing my enjoyment of characters that have become delightful friends. Through my life I have enjoyed children's stories as they helped me get through very bad times. These books are a continuance of that comfortability that I strive to maintain. Bravo (3 of them) and encore (many of them).
