Rate this book
As the Scary Tales saga continues, Grouchy the dwarf and his motley crew of survivors find the human village of Abundance overrun with Snow's zombies. Grouchy gains an unlikely partner in the treacherous Queen Adara, who gave his beloved Snow that wicked apple. Adara agrees to help Grouchy in his quest to find a cure, but only to serve her own devious plans. The apple that transformed Snow into a zombie has now grown into a cursed tree. Destroying it may be Grouchy's only chance to cure his true love. But first, he must escape Abundance and face the resurrected Prince Mikael, who thanks to Snow is now more powerful than ever. Except the Prince, Snow, and her apple are only the beginning. Grouchy and Adara soon learn that Snow isn't merely a rabid monster. Grouchy's beloved Snowflake is controlling her fellow zombies and manipulating them for her own dark ends. To make matters worse, the curse that empowers Snow continues to grow stronger-and more unpredictable.

Warning! Like the first book in the series... this one doesn't end. From the reviews of the next two, neither do the next two books.

This book read better than the first one. The writing was smoother and I was less distracted with the odd descriptions and similes. maybe there were less of them, maybe I was simply desensitized. With the story flowing as well as it did, I was hoping for a thrilling climax since the next book was supposed to be about Red Riding Hood. No thrilling climax. Another cliffhanger.

Once this series is complete, I will probably finish it, but until it is, I won't purchase another.

I loved the first book better. But this is still good such a great contuation to the story so far. Can't wait to read the rest of them. If you like snow white, zombies, and twisted fairy tales this is a book to read. Started Aug 4 finished Aug 7.

I absolutely loved this book! I was so excited to read the second book in the this series that Rob E. Boley is working on. It was even better than expected. I love fairy tales and how the author puts a dark twist on them. I couldn't put the book down! I would definitely recommend this book. The writing is so fluid and brilliant. Love it!

Was waiting to read this because I didn't want to get burnt out on the story but now I can say I wish I hadn't waited. My god what a great story! This book fills in a lot of holes that left you asking questions. Very fast paced little bit of gore some humor, and action. It has it all. Can't wait to read the third one!!!!

A fast paced and quick read. A continuation of the series. Book is most assuredly veering into shades of grey with certain characters. More characters are lost to the zombies and there is a twist. Gotta read it to find out what I'm talking about.

After the first book I wondered if the second one could be as good. Now that I'm used to the little things that bugged me in the first one I actually enjoyed this one more.

I really enjoyed this book. I couldn't stop reading it, but I didn't want to finish so quick either. I will definitely be buying the next one. Gruesome and dark with a fun fairy tale twist.

Part 2 to That Risen Snow was just as enjoyable as the first. If you love fairy tales, but crave a little twist, this is the series to read! Loved it!

I'm really disappointed that there is yet another cliff hanger. I understand making money but a 192 page story with no ending shouldn't cost more than 99 cents.
