Insanity is infectious. New Haven was founded near a gate, a place where the iniquity wafted through the cracks infesting the town. Before the werewolves came, the town was evil. Now the lycanthropic addiction drove the citizens to mutilate men, women, and children, all for the euphoric high of the wolf. As their humanity waned, Darwin Foster discovers his for the first time. The unknown child Se Venire, the gate to Hell and his denied love push Darwin to decide--embrace the blood or renew his own humanity.
