This was a great follow-up to Sidewalk Flower. We meet Lily again as she is pulling up to Trista and Lucky’s house. Though Lily is fearful of her sister’s rejection she really had nothing to feel. She is welcomed into her sister life with open arms. After five months of living with her sister and her husband Lily realizes that something is missing in Trista’s life. She sees the excitement that her best friend’s daughter’s visit gives her but she sees that it is her best friend, Jaxon that she truly misses. Lily decides to take it upon herself to try to go to California and convince Jaxon that Trista needs to see him as much as he needs to see her. What she doesn’t expect is to find a man who begins to win her heart. Lily is unsuccessful in her trip to California but with a bit of pushing from his Sin Pointe band mates Jaxon flies out to Tennessee for the holiday. Jaxon knows Lily is off-limits but her influence alone continues to brighten his days. Will Jaxon and Lily follow their hearts or will the outside pressures destroy each others chance at real happiness?

I loved Jaxon in the first book but this brought him to a whole new level. Jaxon and Lily’s love affair is just that its much more focused on love than on sex. I enjoyed that since you almost expected his story to revolve around sex. With that being said they did have some very steamy sex scenes that had my nook almost at melting point. The story itself was emotional and touching. The two of them both have haunted pasts and that really made their love seem more genuine. It wasn’t painted as if they were just filling an emotional need but they were really building something. I think the one thing I do wish I had more closure on what Lily’s past. We see bits of it coming back but in the end I expected something to happen but it just kind of vanished from the story. Maybe this will be brought up again in a future novel but I would say that was the only little bit of a loose end. I am extremely excited that Ben’s story is next. I love him and think he deserves a wonderful story. I can’t wait to get my hands on that. Overall, Carlene Love Flores produced yet another awesome story that I enjoyed. I would suggest that readers read these books sequentially. There was a lot of information in the first book that pops up in the second. So, if you’re looking for a romance story with a rock star instead of a rock star with a love story then you need to pick up this series!

I really enjoy Carlene Love Flores' books. The characters are perfectly tormented souls and they always find their way to what they deserve most: love.

I love Jaxon's character and being able to look beyond his rock star, cool exterior and see the soft spots for his daughter, his family and his friends. I would have like to have seen though, more character development of Lily.

Overall, I really enjoyed this story and I genuinely felt a connection with the characters. I recommend reading Sidewalk Flower prior to Sin's Flower but they both can be read without the other.

This book was very well written and had a lot of action and drama. I didn't read the first book, but I got to meet Lucky and Trista in this book. They were a great couple! Jaxon and Lily seemed to be doomed from the start. Jaxon thought he wasn't good enough for any woman and Lily was running from her past. I loved Benny! He was a funny and great friend to everyone. Jaxon had to face his past and let Lily in and tell her about it before he could move on. I really liked these two tortured souls.
