...Heart of stone that I have, even I teared up at Chihaya's message: "The last card read was 'Se'." Taken from this site, the whole thing is:

Sutoku In

Se o hayami
Iwa ni sekaruru
Takigawa no
Warete mo sue ni
Awan to zo omou

And the English translation:

Emperor Sutoku

Though a swift stream is
Divided by a boulder
In its headlong flow,
Though divided, on it rushes,
And at last unites again.

As the manga itself says...it's not about missing someone, or being apart. Not really. It's about meeting again.

Beautiful. Just, beautiful.

One tear for every little encouraging pat on the back

“The poem is not about ‘waiting’ nor about ‘missing’. It’s about asking fate for a chance to come across each other one more.”

The new tournament rules confused me a lot just like it did the actual players lol. I’m glad Hokuou won but that’s not good considering Mizusawa is the team we’ve been acquainted with.

Art Style: The art style is still looking good. I still have a bit of whiplash because I did just come from reading Bleach and My Hero Academia, but that doesn’t mean that i’s anything bad. It just takes time to get used to in my case.
Plot: This volume damaged me, and I wasn’t even done reading it! It hurt me to see how Chihaya has matured in matches and how she began emulating Taichi because she thought he wouldn’t ever return. I would pause while reading because it hurt me to see it as well as the team’s reaction to it. And when I thought Mizusawa actually lost, I was silent for a while that when I continued reading, I was almost embarrassed.
Characters: Taichi, come back. You make me frustrated. The rest of the club is so great and lovable, though Tamaru is still on a tightrope. I find it hard to like her. Chihaya, as always, is just great but seeing her mature during the matches made me sad. And Komano is the hero of this final match!
Verdict: This volume is a rollercoaster. It damaged me but repaired me within seconds, it’s almost embarrassing.

This is a great manga that deserves to be read, I started reading after I watched the anime and was happy I did so.
