A chance encounter brings these two together and things get hot, fast! The two sneak out to get the know each other better. To share a night of passion that will take their breath away.

I can't wait to see how Eve will tell the story of these two fascinating people. And one thing for sure, this is going to be a risqué adventure that can't be missed.

I'll keep this short and to the point. I became an instant fan of Eve Jagger and her Sexy Bastards series after loving Cash. I couldn't wait for the next installment in this sexy series, so I jumped at the chance to get my grabby little hands on this one. In my haste to do that, I missed that this is simply a prequel novella leading up to the actual book, A Night with Knox. That being said, I was a bit caught unawares when I read it in a couple short hours to be left with a bit of a cliffhanger.
A Night With Knox is exactly what the title implies; ONE night with Knox. It introduces the silent partner of the bar; the baseball stud and starting pitcher for the NY Yankees, Cooper Knox. It also introduces us to the heroine, Shelby, who's also the sister of Knox's partner and best friend, Jackson. It has them meeting and sharing one sweaty night between the sheets together, but Knox has no idea who Shelby is.
This was a sexy little romp, but it just failed to really grab me. In all fairness, I'm simply not a fan of the prequel novella thing and I rarely read it. This is mainly because it's usually much too short to offer anything aside from a physical connection between the MCs as it did here. I suppose I wanted something....more. But that's really a personal preference more so than anything to do with the book. Had I known what it was, I probably would have waited until the release of the actual book to read it. While it was hot, there was nothing really that piqued my interest just yet. But I'm holding off judgement until I finally get my hands on Knox's full story.

I came across this little novella via Facebook, brother's best friend and I was sold. I didn't realize it was a novella and when it ended I couldn't wait to jump into the whole story.
Knox is Jackson's best friend, Shelby is Jackson's sister. This story is about their one night stand, Shelby seduces Knox and Knox has no clue the sassy, sexy girl is his best friend's little sister. I love a brother's best friend story and this sexy little novella had me dying for more.

3 1/2 stars. This is a really good story....or should I say a really good start to a story! It ends in a cliffhanger. I hate that, at least I do when I'm unaware it ends like that...hence the 3 1/2 stars.

Shelby hasn't had much luck with men so having a one night stand isn’t something that she envisions ever happening to her. Until .. the handsome stranger says everything she wants to hear.
I think we are in for a treat once the full length novel is released. Knox is tired of the ladies gunning for him based on his status and wants something more in his life. Shelby is a very strong female character. She is successful in work but in love not so much. Im pretty sure Shelby is going to give Knox a dose of reality. I cant wait to read all about it.

Unbeknownst to me, this book was a prequel, to Knox's story and so I was a bit blindsided when it ended.
As can be inferred from the above sentence, it is quite short, however it is still enjoyable and details the encounter between Knox and his mystery girl at The Library on New Year's eve.
Given that Cash is a sexy bastard, he does know what he's doing in the bedroom and displays his prowess multiple times. And, of course, just as we know that it takes only special ladies to tame our sexy bastards, Knox's mystery girl is funky, talented, accomplished, and has a good head on her shoulders. She knows what she wants and goes for it. No time for hesitation.
As for their interactions and banter, I did enjoy them - especially how their "first date" went. It was sweet, romantic, and just what you'd expect from a sexy bastard who's a pro-baseball player. He he :)
I'm definitely looking forward to Knox's full story and I can definitely assure you that heads are going to fucking roll when the boys know who his mystery girl is. I'm definitely getting front row seats to the show when it goes down.

So, this is basically an extended teaser for Knox's story. I'm calling him Bastard #3 out of his four other friends and business partners. Shelby is Jackson's (one of the five friends) sister. She knows who Cooper Knox is but he has no idea that she's related to one of the five. They meet on the roof of his new nightclub "The Library" during a New Years party. After cussing his brother out for ruining another dating opportunity away, she decides to have a one nighter with the Yankee pitcher. Baseball practice, running from security guard, having great sex, and being traded to a different team happens all in twenty-four hours. Think of this story as a Prologue with a major cliffhanger. Mungkin aku bukan penggemar kisah one night stand. Tapi aku berubah pikiran setelah membaca novelas ini. Eve Jagger tidak memberikan kisah one night stand kosong tanpa arti.
Pertemuan pertama Knox dan Shelby di malam Tahun Baru bak fairy tale. Chemistry mereka terasa nyata dan bisa dipercaya walaupun instan. Jangan lupakan skill Eve untuk menciptakan karakter menawan, banter smart dan scene seksi yang membangun tensi sebelum mencapai scene hore-hore utama yang super duper hot.
Di novelas ini Jackson jelas atlet beken menawan yang agak standar hero novel romantis. Tapi aku jatuh cinta pada sosok Shelby yang easy going, free dan percaya diri pada sisi seksualnya. Novelas ini seperti makanan pembuka panas yang menggoda untuk masuk ke menu utama hubungan mereka di buku 3, Knox.

This book is the prequel to Knox's upcoming book in the new addition to the Sexy Bastards series. This book was short and hella hot. Definitely should come with a wet panty warning!
Knox and Shelby have an unforgettable meeting and one sexy tryst that shakes Knox to his core. But this is a prequel so warning that there is a bit of a cliffhanger and definitely more to come.
I cannot wait to delve deeper into these two. They definitely have tons of chemistry and the sparks were zinging all over the place so I am on pins and needles for more of the story.
I highly recommend this book!

Short and sexy intro into Cooper Knox's story. Cooper Knox is looking for a New Year's hook up, and not the same old baseball groupie chicks will do. He meets a beautiful brunette named Shelby and they hit it off immediately and hit the sheets almost as quickly! Their chemistry is off the charts but she is a PA for the Falcons and he is a New York Yankee, so it's hopeless right? And add to that, Shelby has a little secret, one Knox is not going to be happy about when he finds out.
Fast and fun read. Not much angst, just two people with insane chemistry hooking up for a night. I think the next book is going to be really good, I can't wait to see what happens between these two!

Oh boy. This was a fun read. I've been waiting for Knox. Eve Jagger has raised the bar. Those Sexy Bastards are making waves.
Shelby is a hot blooded woman. She is smart and knows her business. She needs an equal. I barely had my hands around it... I'll be waiting.
Knox. Mmmmhmmm. He is making an impression. Circumstances have changed and that may mean a new basis. He is in for a legitimate fight. I hope so!
Eve Jagger is developing characters and stories! I love them! I can't wait to see where they go. This is an exciting addition to the series. Maybe the best. I'm super excited!!!

It was so great diving back in with the sexy bastards even if it was just for a little taste of the mouth watering Cooper Knox and his first meeting with the feisty Shelby. They are witty, funny, and ready for action this New Year's Eve and it was so much fun to watch the fireworks explode both with their words and their bodies.
Cooper Knox, a New York Yankee, is in Atlanta on a much needed vacation to catch up with friends at their business venture club, Liberty. He is looking forward to a night of fun, debauchery, and alcohol. If only he could find a woman who wasn't a baseball groupie, he would be set. When he meets the beautiful Shelby on the rooftop and she is less than impressed by his illustrious career, he plans on showing her how he can hit it out of the park.
Shelby is tired of her brother Jackson, another sexy bastard, interfering in all aspects of her life including her love life or her lack there of. Shelby has been striking out lately, men never seem to make it to the third date with her. When Jackson sticks his nose where it doesn't belong once again and Shelby meets a handsome stranger on the roof, she plans on taking it all the way. Even if he is a Yankee.

A NIGHT WITH KNOW by Eve Jagger was a teasingly fast read, which I could not put down,I think Knox is going to be my most favorite sexy bastard of them all.
This author has a way with words and characters that will never disappoint you, she will suck you right into the world of the sexy bastards and place you right in the middle of all the goings on. The characters in this book are amazing, Knox and Shelby have set off sparks that would top any fireworks show, and this was after only one night together, can you imagine what is to come in the next book (which I cannot wait for).

A NIGHT WITH KNOX by Eve Jagger (one of my favorite and go to authors) is a must read, be prepared for the jaw dropping ending that will leave you wishing it was the end of December so that we could have Knox's full story. There are no other words that can be used to describe how amazing this tease of a book was. I would give A NIGHT WITH KNOX 5/5 baseballs.
This author has a way with words and characters that will never disappoint you, she will suck you right into the world of the sexy bastards and place you right in the middle of all the goings on. The characters in this book are amazing, Knox and Shelby have set off sparks that would top any fireworks show, and this was after only one night together, can you imagine what is to come in the next book (which I cannot wait for).

What a tantalizing tease! Eve delivers a fast ball that’s knocked out of the park. Seriously sexy and unbearably too short, A Night With Knox solidified my new years eve fantasies.
Knox is the ever silent partner in the Sexy Bastards’ bars. He’s a professional baseball player who’s getting a little tired of the bat bunny game. When Shelby doesn’t fall into his usual charms and is otherwise unimpressed over his baseball prowess, he may just have met his match.
In pure Jagger style, the heat level rises from the pages. I may have read a few passages of this one aloud and was informed that it was ‘raunchy’ ‘hot’ and ‘SEXY!!’ from the listeners. So even if you don’t take my word for it – take theirs.

A Night with Knox is a novella in the Sexy Bastard Series but it's also the first of the series I have read. It's a prequel to the next novel in the series, Knox. It definitely had me wanting more...
Knox is a starting pitcher for the New York Yankees and after a crazy season he is back in his hometown of Atlanta for one night only, the last day of the year. He wants to hang out with his friends and let loose but he is tired of the baseball groupies, he wants someone that doesn't want to just bag a player and his wish comes true when he needs some air...
Shelby was looking forward to a great New Year's Eve with a third date but when that fell through she needed to get away from the bar and everyone in it. She needed some air and what she got was a whole lot more. She ended up meeting eyes with a gorgeous man and when the ball dropped at midnight, she knew her new year would start out with a bang or even two or three...
One hot night. That is all it was suppose to be. Knox was going back to New York and she was okay with that. She didn't want her little secret to ruin their night of passion and fun.
Knox and Shelby are both witty and damn sexy, a great combo if you ask me. I can't wait to read more of their story in Knox!

Eve Jagger has hit a home run with "A Night With Knox"! I loved this novella sample of what's to come in the next book "Knox" out Dec 30th, 2015 which is book 3 of the Sexy Bastards Series. This short spicy story is told over New Years Eve night in Atlanta.
Cooper Knox, professional baseball player with the NY Yankees, is part owner in the Sexy Bastards bars. Coop heads home to spend some much need time with his friends and meets a mystery girl who catches his attention immediately. Shelby hasn't had much luck with men lately, pretty much striking out on all fronts. When a hot, sexy stranger saying all the right things comes into the picture - a one night stand might be just what she needs even if he's a Yankee.
Coop & Shelby are perfect together! I found myself smiling through this entire story. Loved Cooper's character - I want to know more about him! I love that he's a baseball star and old enough to know the fan girls are tiring and he's looking for something different. Shelby is a strong female character, successful in her job but unable to find a man that can match her. I haven't read anything by Eve Jagger up till now but when I saw the synopsis of this short story, it intrigued me and I decided that I have to check it out. Well, I was definitely not disappointed. This is a really interesting prequel to Knox and Shelby's story full with humor and hotness.
Knox is definitely one delicious hottie that you simply must meet. With his incredible physique, easy banter and sexy voice, he will melt your panties with just a smile :) And when you add to that that he definitely knows what he is doing in the bedroom or out of it, you simply have a winner ;) I have to say that I would definitely want to ring the New Year with him in bed. That would be probably the best start of it :D
As for Shelby, she is Knox's perfect counter part. She is strong and independent, sassy and funny. She counters Knox at every corner and makes him work on every step. Because as she says, she cannot leave his ego suffocate him :)
I don't think I can say much more about the book, considering it is a short story. But I can honestly say that it intrigued me and I can't wait to read more about Knox and Shelby. And I am definitely checking the other books in the Sexy Bastard series :)

Night with Knox is the introduction to Knox (Sexy Bastards Book 3. Knox Copper is home for New Years and visiting his friends/business partners at their newly opened bar, The Library. Knox is a silent partner and also has a full time career as an All Star pitcher for the NY Yankees. He’s take a break to celebrate and hopes to find a woman who isn’t a fan to join him.
Shelby once again can’t get past a second date, this time she has been date blocked by her brother Jackson. She’s done with his overprotectiveness.
Knox has met his match on the roof top of the library when he meets Shelby. Shelby is a Football PR agent with little respect for baseball. “Baseball, for me, is just a slight step above golf.” Their attraction leads to one crazy night. Shelby knows that it can’t go any further. She’s keeping a secret and doesn’t worry because Knox will be heading back to NY.
Knox’s plans change and Shelby doesn’t know it yet but she's headed for a wild ride. I loved the introduction. It’s a great holiday set-up and I can’t wait for more Shelby and Knox.

I didn't realize that this is just an intro into a new series. I usually don't read those just because they lack the length and seem too rushed for me to really get the feel for the plot and characters.
And as usual this is the case for this short story.
However, A Night With Knox gives us a sexy ball player and a sweet girl who just wants to make it on her own and have her older brother let her live her life.
Shelby is old enough to live, work and breathe on her own. But as with most older brothers- her's is a pain and trying to make her live a monks life.
What better way to make the bully realize she's a big girl than to mess with one of his friends.
Knox thinks he's got his world by the tail, but what he doesn't know is that the sweet, sexy little fireball that he's planning on taking to bed is his friends little sister. (Going to have to wait and see what happens there.)
And his professional life is about to change in a big way.
I'm withholding judgement until I can read the whole book. But it's looking like maybe this book might not be your typical Best Friends Little Sister kind of book.

He doesn’t expect to meet a girl with whom he feels connected to. She’s funny, and doesn’t let him get away with anything. Little does he knows that she is keeping something from him, one that could separate them. Their time together leads to a one-night stand, but they have to part ways, but a surprise awaits.

What a great beginning to Knox and Shelby's story! This next installment in the Sexy Bastard's series has it all, 2 strong and sexy characters with smokin' hot chemistry, fun banter and a captivating story line. It is New Years eve and NY Yankee starting pitcher, Knox, is looking for more than the usual baseball groupie for the night. Shelby had her date runoff by her overprotective brother, Cash, so she is looking for some purely anonymous fun. When they meet by chance on the roof of the bar they are instantly attracted and are intrigued by the way they challenge each other. So begins a night of surprise activities, witty banter and steamy sex. The story is short but satisfying and also open ended. It left me excited to read more about these two in the next book Knox (Sexy Bastard #3) coming out next month!

Everything you have come to love about this author is present in this book- perfect dialog, pristine character development, and sexy men!
