Basic

A summarised version of GTD but would highly recommend users actually read GTD. A reasonable overview of OneNote but then a limited combination of the two. Disappointed

Excellent Primer on OneNote

Straightforward, No nonsense presentation of the best productivity app on the market. Who has not sat in a classroom writing in a notebook? OneNote uses the familiar in electronic form to take you to a new, more productive place in note taking, journaling, referencing and much more. Jack Echo presents the bare facts in a simple, empowering manner. Do not simply read this book. Act on it. You will not be disappointed.

WARNING! Don’t buy t!

I wouldn’t call it a book, but just a refresher of the original GTD.

It has 160 pages out of which 100 is the book itself and the another 60 are mediocre bonus material.
Out of those 100, 60 is a about GTD system and only 40 related to OneNote. Swirly, I could pick up only one good idea about OneNote. The majority of the text related of OneNote is just what it can do.

Net net I regret that I spend 4$ for it and didn’t claim Amazon for refund. 1$ is its max price.

So So

I expected a bit more, even though the book was informative, it was not what a I expected from a book with the title.

It helped me review some of he keys points on how to use Onenote. I've been using Evernote for more than 10 years now and I decided to move to Onenote. I like the flexibility, the "white canvas" space that Onenote offers. I learned some useful keyboard shortcuts and hidden option with this book.

Wonderful resource

If you want to use the GTD method and Microsoft one note, this is a very useful read. Do as he says in the beginning of the book and DO things as he teaches you!
