Clay is Harley's little son's father, but he was never introduced into their lives because he's been considered to be dead. Clay returns and kidnaps Harley in order to extract from her where she's hiding their son, and protect him from her and their enemies. Clay and Harley had been very much in love, but Harley's betrayal years ago have made Clay pissed off at her. Harley is shocked by Clay's orchestrated death and refuses to tell him where their son is because she loves her son and she's afraid of losing him. The chemistry between them is still strong and the physical attraction is undeniable!
Clay and Harley are living through a wild, raw, thrilling and full of passion love hate relationship. It is stressful and heart wrenching, full of anger and rage. However, rush of love is exhilarating and sex is rough. They can't stand the sight of the other, but there’s no denying the chemistry that lingers when they spot each other. They succumb to raw hate sex because this is the best way to deal with the conflicting emotions. They channel all of their aggression into good and forceful sex. Clay takes out all those years of frustration right where she can feel it the most.

Such a great start to what i hope will be an awesome series. Even though at this point i can't see a reasonable way out of this huge, tangible mess for our power-couple, i really anticipate their next movements and wish for a happy, wild, and sexy ever after.
Harley and Clay share a past, a son and too many secrets. They were in love, passionately so, fiercely devoted to each other and ready to get married, but things between them went terribly wrong. Clay was calm and collected, ready to give his life for her and Harley was bitchy, conniving and calculative.
Fast forward a few years and now, Clay is just a shadow of his previous self, ready to take down in the most gruesome way, the woman he always loved and Harley has her hands full trying to get away from a vicious cartel and keep her son safe and secure away from her damaged life.
Harley became a better person, but Clay doesn't care or want to see that, his first and only priority is to find his son, but can he really turn a blind eye towards his feelings about Harley and move on as he planned? The answer is simply no. With too many hurdles ahead of them and a cartel hot on their trails the revenge is on hold and everything is up for debate.
THOUGHTS ABOUT THE BOOK
- They have passion and tension at spades.
- Every sex scene was hot, even though i didn't particularly cared about their escapades with other partners.
- Harley is a loving and caring mother. I loved the scenes with little Jasper.
- Clay's character is dark but very likeable. He hasn't lost his moral compass.

We met Harley in the Bought by the Billionaire series and I'm glad that Lili is going to give Harley her story. Not gonna lie, I didn't like Harley. But, now that we know more about her and what's she's been through, I have a little compassion for her. Clay, on the other hand, does not. He's so angry that he doesn't even know what he's doing. Since finding out he has a son, he's on a mission to get rid of Harley and raise his son. At the same time Harley is trying to get free of the men she's caught up with. She wants out so she can go somewhere and live her life with her son. Things don't go as planned, and Clay kidnaps Harley. She thought he was dead all these years and because he's the only man she's ever loved, she's confused and upset. Dirty Twisted Love only scratches the surface of this love story. Harley quickly hates Clay, but her body can't stop loving him. Clay just wants to lock her away, but he can't stop wanting her. This is not a nice, sweet story. It's about loving and hating in the most primal way, and it's awesome. I can't wait to see what happens next!

Harley is Hannah's identical sister and we met her at the end of Lili's previous series near the conclusion of Hannah and Jackson's romance.
Harley in the first series looks to still be a fairly cold person especially as she runs the first opportunity she gets leaving her sister behind.
In this part of the series we see a softer side to Harley from the beginning, however seeing Clay for the first time is, understandably, quite a shock.
Harley is still up to her old tricks, however she always makes sure that her son Jasper is safe, whilst Clay has only two things on his mind. Revenge and getting Jasper away from his mother and cared for by himself.
There is a lot of pushing away from each of our main characters, but they cannot deny what initially brought them together, especially as they both were deeply in love with each other when the accident occurred.
I really look forward to finding out how the rest of the series will turn out.

This was ok... Maybe 2.5 Stars but I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt that this series gets better.
This a spin off of Bought By the Billionaire. It says it can be read without reading that series first, but I recommend reading the previous series or you'll be confused. And I really liked the previous series..

Clay is searching for the one woman he loved who ruined his life.
There is a lot of description in this book and not much dialogue, which is a bummer for me. I love dialogue. Hoping the next book has more of that.

Intense!
Harley has a way of getting herself into trouble and this book is no different. Trying to keep her son safe and escape from a drug cartel, Harley runs into the last man she ever expected to see again.
When Clay was told that Harley was killed in an accident that nearly took his life, he thought he had moved on and changed himself. But now face to face with her again his anger about their past is rising to the surface.
The chemistry between these two is explosive and a little dangerous. I can't wait to read the next book to see what happens!

Spoiler Ahead This was a pretty good short dark twisted read. Harley Mason has a secret she has been hiding. Clay Hart fell for Harley and she nearly killed him he won't let his heart get in the way again when he finds out about her secret he will do anything including kidnapping to get what he wants. Since finding out he has a son, he's on a mission to get rid of Harley and raise his son. At the same time Harley is trying to get free of the men she's caught up with. She wants out so she can go somewhere and live her life with her son. Things don't go as planned, and Clay kidnaps Harley. She thought he was dead all these years and because he's the only man she's ever loved, she's confused and upset. I didn't know that when I started reading this book it was connected to another series by this author and I do I have the first book of the other series. Clay and Harley hate each other but can't stop wanting each other. This was a well written book with no errors in grammar or spelling. This was my first time reading this author also and although this book ended with a cliffhanger I think I am going to read this other series before I read the next book in this one.

Good read
Dirty Twisted Love was an interesting short read. It was intriguing, fairly fast-paced and set it up well for the rest of Harley and Clay's story, though I food fell that there were a lot of points that could have been introduced into this story to make it make more sense like explaining the accident in more detail and how he came to hear that she was dead and vice versa (did she run after the accident? How did the hospital come to the conclusion that she was dead?). I feel these points would be very valuable in this story since it's the start of their story. Otherwise, it was an enjoyable read.

Becoming reacquainted with Clay all of these long years later is a major kink in her plan, and promises to ratchet up the intrigue and angst. Adding in the smoldering and unwelcome hate passion that Clay is carrying towards Harley is going to make this one hot series indeed.
Lili is the consummate Queen of the Cliffy, and ends this read with the proverbial bang. It's danger, passion, intrigue, oh, my, netting DIRTY TWISTED LOVE 5+ hotter than heck stars. We first met Harley in Lili Valente's Bought by the Billionaire series and to be completely honest, I didn't like her at all. In fact, I didn’t care much about her and felt that anything bad that happened to her was definitely deserved. But as soon as I learned Lili was going to give Harley and Clay a story of their own, I knew she was going to write something astonishing and was going to completely alter the way I felt. Well, Dirty Twisted Love definitely did not disappoint and to be truthful, is so much more than I could have hoped for.
Harley isn’t the same evil, twisted and devious person she used to be, her life changing with the nurturing love she has for her son. With her priorities now focused on him, she will stop at nothing to keep her son safe from the past mistakes she made. Harley is determined to break free of that dangerous life and is prepared to do anything to protect him. But her plans are thwarted when Clay kidnaps her, intent on forcing Harley to tell him where his son is and to make her pay for her past. Clay, the father of Harley’s son, can never forgive her for the deceitful and malicious things she has done. He has his mind set on destroying the monster he always knew Harley to be and take the son which she has kept hidden from him for six years. Harley sees that Clay is definitely not the man she had always loved and will stop at nothing to escape his captivity. But neither of them ever anticipates the hot-blooded awakening of undeniable desire which remains between them despite the separation of years, nor are they prepared for the common enemy they share.
To be honest, I had a little difficulty putting this review together. As I sat down to write it and the words flowed down through my fingers to my laptop, I had to keep backspacing as I struggled trying desperately not to give too much away. There were just so many things I wanted to say to express how capturing and powerful this story is but I just kept spoiling too much. So let me just finish off by saying…

Harley and Clay's story is replete with explosive interactions between them interspersed with the flame of their scorching passion fanned by their undeniable and unrelenting mutual attraction. As always, Lili Valente continued to keep my rapt attention from beginning to end. She has once again written and outstandingly intriguing story and as expected left me dangling with great anticipation of what is in store next for Harley and Clay.

I read the Bought by a Billionaire serial series and loved it so I was so excited when Lili announced there was going to be a spin-off series! You do not need to read The Bought by A billionaire series to understand this one, I would recommend reading it as some point though...it's a hot ride! Ok...back to Clay and Harley.
Clay and Harley have history. They were in love once and it all ended with a car crash leaving them to believe that the other died. What really happened was they parted ways, Harley with a baby and on the run and Clay joining the CIA.
After six years of running around the world and shady dealings, Harley wants out. It's easier said than done but she wants what is best for her son. First, she needs a plan. She thought she the perfect set up until she was kidnapped by the only man she ever loved...
Clay wants his son and he wants Harley to pay for what she has done to him and his best friend Jackson. He doesn't want her dead but needs her to suffer, to be locked up and to never see her son again. The problem? The love and hate relationship he feels towards her. He can't trust her but he craves her body and soul. He can also see that her body is is not listening to her mind, she wants him too.
Can one hate as much as they can love? Will one way win out over the other when it comes to both Clay and Harley?

A Review of Dirty Twisted Love (Book 1) by Lili Valente
Secrets and desires - 5++ stars
This series covers the story of Harley and Clay. Harley is the twin sister of Hannah, who we met in Lili's second series. I am excited to see where this story goes and hopefully we will get to see Hannah and Jackson along the way as well. Definitely recommended if you can handle the dark romance of enemies back to lovers.

Oh Geez!!! Talk about HOT as F!!! We met Harley in her sister Hannah's series (Bought by the Billionaire Series).
Now Harley is the girl you love to hate (and for very good reason), but now we are learning what makes Harley tic and what she will and will not do to protect her son Jasper from the man who she loved and thought had died.
We met Clay (who we met briefly in the Bought By the Billionaire series) who was Jackson's best friend (Hannah's now husband).... even though Clay was sleeping with Harley even though she was dating Jackson. Clay is not dead as Harley thought, but he is also not the same man she loved before.
While this is the first book in the series and does leave off on a cliffhanger..... Lili has written it in such a way that you will be begging for book 2 to come out asap. Clay and Harley are characters that will not leave you. This isn't a funny sweet laughter filled book. It is a dangerous dirty and HOT book and if you loved the Bought by the Billionaire series you will not be disappointed in Harley's story.

This was a great read. The story was filled with suspense. The enemies-to-lovers concept is very intriguing. The characters are great. I really like Clay, he is the alpha male in this story and man is he possessive. Harley is a great character. She seems more broken to me. I hope to see more of a growth in their characters. Clay is a CIA agent who fell in love with Harley six years prior to the book. He is also Harley's son, Jasper's father. He found out that Harley betrayed him and now is seeking revenge for that betrayal. He was considered to be dead after a car crash that involved Harley. Harley is a heiress and artist who is now trying to make money to provide for her son, Jasper. She has loved only one man, but now that man is pissed at her. This is a great story about hating the one you love. Although, it seems to me, like this trend won't last long as they still truly do love each other. Overall, a thrilling read.

We met Harley in Bought by a Billionaire. She's not a truly likable character because she's evil at heart. Makes a great villain, or at least she did. Now we have her story, that shows what happens when you find love, in her case her son.
But as history teaches us, our sins are bound to catch up with us.
This story has some rough sex, violence, passion and plenty of game changers. It ends on a cliff hanger waiting for part two. it is very helpful to have read all of bought by the billionaire first, so you know all the players and back story. Lili does give some but I tend to think if I hadn't read the other I'd be missing a piece.

We'll talk about an adventurous love....Harley and Clay really have that down to a science. I can't wait to read them fall in love with each other all over agin and for Clay to get to know Jasper. I hope Clay can help Harley get out of her trouble with Marlow. I love these very tense very dark stories where it's a struggle of love and passion......I can't wait till the rest of the story!!!

Ok, so this is definitely worth the anticipation and one of the best cashing in the HEA after the first series about Hannah has already been established. However, without first hand experience or extensive research the high speed chases and unfeasible scenarios were a let down. And let me be the one to say "What does this series have anything to do with Billionaire?" There are no billionaires ANYWHERE in this setting. Sure makes it easy for the soccer moms to search up this book genre though, so thank you for that. And it's terribly kinky of Clay, a veteran CIA agent to come up with "fucking the information" out of his ex, you're simply amazing Clay. But I enjoyed this book as I did the previous series, there is a lot of empathy and unique descriptive juiciness in this author's sex scenes that I love.

This is the first of a 4 novella series. I give the author and her publisher credit for being up front about exactly what this free novella is. It's a tease, a taste to get you to purchase the entire series. Problem for me is I'm still undecided as to whether I'm into it enough to do that. It's dark and violent as well as sexy and suspenseful. Among all the things she is or was, Harley Mason is an extremely sexual woman whose body has no problems achieving overwhelming orgasms whether its during emotionless sex with the man she knows would rather be fucking her twin sister or angry, violent sex with Clay, the man she once loved who now hates her and she now hates for kidnapping her and trying to keep her from their son. Oh hell, I'm hooked. I'll read the rest of this series because I want to see these two and their son get their happily ever after.

Prequel to the Kidnapped by the Billionaire series which is a spinoff of the Bought by the Billionaire series that is about Harley's sister.
Action packed but also packed with backstory to kinda catch us up/inform us of how we got here. It seems like all of it is pretty complex and like you'd probably have to read the first series to fully appreciate this series. But it is a good set up and seems like it's going to be an intriguing and exciting series.
As warned in the description, because it is only a prequel, it is a cliffhanger intro to the story. Also, this is a serial so the other books will end in cliffhangers as well up to its conclusion.

Harley has done the most vengeful things for what she thought were the right reasons, but her son has changed the person she once was. Harley would first have to explain her wrong doings to a man that she shared a life, an accident, and a son. Clay was alive and he wasn't pleased with Harley. This is book number one of Harley and Clay's story.
