An excellent read that brings about the reality of negligence and accident. I recommend this to hunter education students, not to scare them away from hunting, but to make them think about their decisions in the field. Even non-hunters have an appreciation for this book and the thoughts and legal ramifications behind each story.

If you are a hunter, know a hunter, or are interested in criminal investigation, this book is CSI in the woods. The stories range from amusing to tragic to "what the heck!" When a story opens with "The second time I was shot..." you can imagine what's next.
