This was cute and I think my daughter will love it because she loves to look at books with faces of real children more than she likes to look at illustrations. It goes through the alphabet and gives emotions and pictures for each letter, such as "A is for angry, when I'm having a bad day" with a little angry baby face. It's pretty informative because you get different colors and the alphabet and different emotions...so much to teach with. Good job!

I really enjoyed this story yes its cute and sweet and very original. This book can help your child understand feeling and their ABC. My daughter really enjoyed the story and she got to sing her ABC in the end. My child was able to relate to all the feelings and explain a time she felt that way to, now grant it she is 5. This book is a great way to enter act with your child and help them learn at the same time.

Cute book, good to read to siblings. If you want to, make the faces with the kid you're reading it to. They'll love it!

I'm not sure what it means by it being a 'lift and learn' book as the pages are double thickness so small hands can turn them with no problem. My granddaughter received this when she was 10 mths old from the Dolly Parton Imagination Library monthly club she's a member of. It's perfect for babies or toddlers as each letter of the alphabet has a baby's face and an emotion we feel. So helps teach them the importance of reading emotions (the faces of the babies) and learning the alphabet too.

I thought the real pictures were cute, but the book was so much like other abc books, that it wasn't as exciting as I'd hoped. (abc book)

This book had a nice way of displaying different emotions in a fun and educational way. I love how neat the book was organized and that it rhymed. The book went through different feelings for every letter of the alphabet from A – Z. It had four letters on each page and an image of a child expressing the feeling that started with that particular letter in the alphabet. I love how diverse the images were of each child displayed in the book. Any child reading this book would feel seen and appreciated because there was representation for a variety of races and genders. I like how the book not only displayed a feeling for each letter along with an image of that feeling but it also explained what the feeling meant in simple language to make it easy to be understood by young readers. I would recommend this book for teachers and parents to help children identify emotions.

Cute, educational, fun book on emotions. Fun to read to toddlers- getting them to copy the faces, and for the older children this would be a great visual tool to talk about different emotions and recognizing their own. This book has a permanent spot in my library. 😄💙

Our kid loved looking at other babies in this book since he was 7-8 months old. This book will be continuously useful as we teach him about various emotions. I like how the pictures are real photos of babies, and not cartoons!

As we go through the alphabet we see a picture of a baby's expression that corresponds to the letter on that page. For instance A is for angry, b is for bashful. My granddaughter got bored with looking at the faces of other babies and would turn the pages of the book to the last page where all of the alphabet letters are printed out. Here I would point to each letter as I sang the alphabet song. This she absolutely loved!

We received this through Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, when our son was very young. I recommend this for infants and also children that fall within the autism spectrum. Toddlers outgrow this pretty fast I think it helps to have a mirror to reflect there mood to them and reference the book when they are feeling a certain way and see if they can point at a match.

One of my daughters favorite books when she was a baby. Since she would only sit still to read this book, it gets 5 stars! Babies love looking at other babies and faces so it kept her attention when other books couldn't. The rhymes were cute and easy to follow.

My daughter loves this book. There is a photo of a child expressing some kind of emotion for every letter of the alphabet. She loves seeing the pictures of other "babies" and I love talking to her about emotions.

I love this book! This book is a great interactive alphabet book for toddlers and preschoolers. Each letter has a word (usually a feeling) and picture to go with it. This is a great tool for teaching children their ABC's and emotional words. Definitely a classroom staple for any preschool room.

This is very cute ABC book that depicts different emotions or actions that start with the letters of the alphabet. It can obviously be used with preschool or kindergarten age students. This book is a cute and interesting way to help children start learning their ABCs.
