A very easy, cosy read. It made me chuckle a few times and painted a clear picture of the sixties, and expat life in Africa. My only criticism is that it irritated me that he wrote in the third person when it is a memoir.

Another totally enthralling book by Billy Hopkins. From a struggle in Manchester to the wide expanse of Kenya this book holds the readers' attention all the way. A great read and highly recommended

Great read

Enjoyed this one just like previous. Love following families through their experiences. Looking forward to reading the next one in the series.
