Collection of encounters Dr Kalam had and his undestanding out of it. This series would restore confidence in humanity and make one a better person. I kept hearing Dr.kalams voice when reading each story.
So greedily I savoured each word of this book...I wish it would never end and I could continue reading Kalam Sahab's book forever. There will never be a book from you again but yes, you have left so much for us to read and get inspired from.
I am born with potential. I am born with goodness and trust. I am born with ideas and dreams. I am born with greatness. I am born with confidence. I am born with wings. I am not meant for crawling. I have wings, I will fly. I will fly and fly.
Motivational excerpts from the former President of India. It was emotional and moving. It teaches one to be bold and fearless of failure and to persevere to reach higher goals.
The book enlists various experiences and lessons that ought to be learned. It shows how various incidents helped in shaping up the great man we know APJ Abdul Kalam
I've always admired Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. I was fortunate to meet him a while back when I was a kid. His ideas about free India are so clear and inspiring, and I'd suggest this book to be read by young students who will be shaping our countries future. All the excerpts shared in the book are thought-provoking, and there is a lot to take ahead and apply in our own lives. Being the missile man and the president of India, Dr Kalam has been the epitome of change and scientific development in modern India for which he will always be remembered. If you admire Dr Kalam's Journey, his ideas, his achievements, then recommending this is a no-brainer.
Six virtues of a healthcare giver – generosity, pure ethics, tolerance, perseverance, cultivating pure concentration and intelligence. - My India - Ideas for future
• My review : The book, My India - Ideas for the future is foreword by Srijan Pal Singh in honour of Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam ( 1931-2015 ). Dr Kalam being the most humble yet intelligent person inspires many of us. This book is a small collection of his life stories, giving beautiful perspective towards life. This book consists of numerous speeches delivered by him in various cities in India and abroad inspiring every Indian citizen. .
Ideas for the future, an apt name for the book. New ideas & thoughts have been explored personally. It kindles thoughts that have not occurred once in my lifetime.
The most important thing I learned from this book was that, the ideas are not found in book alone but also by encountering with new people.
How a travelogue or a book about travelling provides a desire for wanderlust, the same way this book made a desire in me to encounter with new people and learn from them.
Its a book combining all the major lectures of Dr Kalam given at various institutions, the book brings forward many of the events, that will inspire the readers and make them to think about the needs of the hour and the compassion for your work, its a short book you can finish in one go and must read to get through some motivation for your desires.
I was biased about this book even before I picked it up. I have great respect for this intellectual kind human. Unparalleled and best President ever.
This book is certainly a good read. Majorly it's a collection of small incidents in Dr. APJs life but also talks about his internal journey of being an extraordinary human.
5/5. High possibility of being biased in rating as I have always been inspired by his work ethics. Earlier, I thought this book will be about the ideas Dr Abdul Kalam has about the future of India. But this book consists of numerous speeches delivered by him in various cities in India and abroad inspiring every Indian citizen. Moreover, he has also visited jammu (my native place) on 3 Feb, 2014.
The book "My India- Ideas for the future" by A.P.J. Abdul Kalam consists of the excerpts from the life of Abdul kalam. He tells about the persons who has inspired and helped him to reach the height he has reached. The book tells us about the importance of having the vision, dedication and the execution of the vision.
A book full of positivity but not written in a manner that would easily hold the reader's interest. I managed to complete this short book only because I am a big fan of Dr. Kalam, but others may struggle to do so.
I would rate this as the second best book by APJ Abdul Kalam sir( among the one's which I have read). Excellent collection short narrations. So many inspiring stories.
Reading Dr. Kalam is always a bliss. Amazing book consisting of experiences, anecdotes and stories by the greatest Indian President & scientist of 21st century.
The people's president keeps whispering in our ears,
You're born with confidence You're born with wings You're not meant for crawling You have wings, you will fly
Empowering & igniting our minds with ideas for the future. We could hear his footsteps and feel his presence by our side as we turn each page of this beautiful book. Every single word is so intriguing & inspiring, giving a glimpse of Kalam's consciousness and his unconditional love for children and nation which is too deep & wide that knows no end.
