Great Read
First time reading something from this Author This was a great story, my only problem was when the characters finally told each other how they felt the story ended. I wanted more of them as a couple.

I loved Destiny's character but was a bit irritated with Nikolai's wishy washy attitude on their relationship. It was slightly immature of him to act that way until he came to his decision on committing to her.

Entertaining
Destiny and Nikolai's story is so funny and endearing....I laughed so hard when poor Nik had to change a stinky diaper in a men's room at the mall...these 2 really had amazing chemistry...Sascha and Kendra are featured in the story at an integral part....I thoroughly enjoyed Nik and Destiny romance...didn't get the same from Sascha and Kendra....their relationship seemed contrived...Destiny and Nik on the other hand sizzles from beginning to end.

I really liked the book and the storyline. I wish I knew more about why Yuri the sick dad hired our heroine and the affection and concern between the two. I wanted more background on the couple but they were good together and their chenmistry and the mystery around them was good.

Slow start but overall good
There was a lot of quick-slow progression of the plot but the meaty parts came towards the end when things start wrapping up. There also seemed to be too many plot twists to keep up with: crazy, junkie ex-bf, drug Lord nemesis, ailing grandma, junkie, absentee mother, embezzlement, sexual harassment, rogue FBI agent, etc. and with all of that happening there was romance trying to evolve in the mix of it all. Lol To be honest, all Nikolai and Destiny really had “time” for was sex bc their lives were spinning out of control collectively and individually. Also, I guess I should’ve read the Sacha book #2 since those characters are mentioned in this book. I read Viktor’s story, but totally, accidentally bypassed on Sacha’s take, but they all pane out the same way so no serious mystery. Also, I wish the author would’ve done an epilogue on Nik and Destiny. Would’ve been nice to see how their family evolved.

This was my first book by Susan Westwood I really enjoyed it.
I loved how Destiny is so strong and doesn't let her wear run her, I love how smart she is and taking care of herself an debt grandmother then later her baby brother. Niko he's headstrong and does gets to what he things best for him but ends up falling in love and messing it up all at the same time, but he is shot protecting Destiny and baby that he learns life it not a life without them.
I can't wait to read more by this author.

Fun read!!
The story of Nino and Destiny was very entertaining. Once I started reading the book, I didn't want to put it down. I read it in two seatings. The plot was thick and interesting and she wrapped up all of the lose ends by the end of the book with a happy ending. Very well written! I look forward to reading more from this author!

Highly recommended!
Yeah Niko was a butthead that should known better when it came to his feelings towards Destiny. You have to love Destiny, she is one tough cookie. 🍪 But Niko handled his and more.

There is an editor's note that was not removed in chapter 7. I would advise not reading the note or the rest of the chapter thereafter and restart at chapter 8. After the editor's note is an alternate scene to chapter 8 that never ends up happening in the book and should all be removed. The editor's note gives away things that happen later in the book.

With that said I did enjoy the book. If you have read Viktor and Sasha it follows the same story like, but does differ enough from them not to be the same. Like with the other to book I wish the book would have an epilogue as it just ends though they do have a HEA without cliffhanger.

On another note this is the third book in this series that the main male character was shot in the shoulder while protecting the girl. I wish for a little more creativity than that. I was happy this book seemed to be more of it's own story without following the same story line as Viktor and Sasha's books did. They were almost like reading the same book with different character names.

Best Russion book in along time I love these book d you are great writer enjoyed it very much you need to read the book it's great about a girl worked for his father he was FBI he took over his dad's company because he has cancer she stayed on as his asset. they have a one night stand both come to work next day to find out his the don and she's the asset you need to reed the book so much happens you will enjoy the book so read it and enjoy. Nik...
Nik was a dream besides him being a butt-head from time to time. I liked how protective he was over Destiny even before he figured out he was in love with her. I liked how strong Destiny was and that she stepped up to the plate for her brother. I did wonder what happen to Jamal.

Some parts were funny and others parts were just too unrealistic, giving a baby toa strange with no proof they were connected for example. The murder of her mother by the h ex boyfriend which then seemed to be forgotten about. I wish it had been better I would like to know why these books are not edited properly

I love this author. Her alpha men are stubborn, hardheaded and opinionated but are soft when it comes to the women they love.
