K. Elliott aka The Well Fed Black Writer, published his first novel, Entangled, in 2003. Although he was offered multiple signing deals, Elliott decided he had what it took to self-publish. With that, he founded Urban Lifestyle Press, printed his own books and went to work. Bookstore by bookstore, street vendor by street vendor, Elliott took to the road selling his story. His work did not go unnoticed as he sold 50,000 units in his first year and made the Essence Magazine Bestsellers list. Since Entangled, Elliott has published five titles of his own and two on behalf of authors signed to Urban Lifestyle Press. For one book, The Ski Mask Way, Elliott was selected to co-author with hip-hop superstar 50 Cent. Along the way, he has continued to look for innovative ways to push his books to his fans while keeping down his overhead. Not wanting to keep the finding of such valuable experiences to himself, Elliott did two things. First, in 2010 he forged his vision of low-cost publishing by founding 21 Black Street, an eBookstore to mirror a traditional African-American themed book store - accept it could totally cuts out printing costs. Not stopping there, Elliott created the Well-Fed Black Writer, a blog for authors to find life-hacking tips for more efficient, effective self-publishing. Now through podcasts, video and blog posts, Elliott is able to reach anyone interested tips that lead to efficient, cost effective self-publishing success.
I read this book in one day. This book was good like the rest of the series. I'm ready for part 7 now . I'm still waiting for Shamari to get out and find out who Starr baby daddy is lol. And I bet they gone find Craig watch . I think miss America deserve that so do fy-head but it she ain't dead yet..
Omg this series is getting better and better.I swear I love Starr and Q's relationship. But I can't believe that secret that Q has been hiding back and hasn't told Starr yet about it.And then Jada I swear she ain't never gonna change with her many men lol.But Black I feel for him he is always in some stuff and sometimes he don't even be trying to be in it.TeTe she is one crazy women I can say that I don't know wat Black sees on her lol.But that ending was so crazy my jaw was on the floor I can't wait to get into the last part of season two
What I like most about this book is characters story line, no two people are the same, every one have a unique situation. It's realistic and keep you wanting more. The characters you love the most you identify with and the ones you dislike means the author did a good job depicting the character. Yes, I would recommend this book to all book lovers who know there's no such thing as happy ever after, but life comes with obstacles, and it's our choice to get through it are let it consume us.
I read Season 1 & Season 2 in 2 weeks mainly weekends but today I finished this book and boy can I say that it was a page turner. I could not put my tablet down. I was hoping that Q and Starr would get it together but after Starr revealed to Q, sleeping with Terrell I don't it's to go over to well. Now she's prego and not sure he's the father but I know that's gone not going to be the deal in the next book she is going to be at least 9-12 weeks; that's hwy she been so moody. lead me to have second thoughts.
So much unexpected twists I can't wait for the next chapter I was impressed with the intertwining of the characters and the individuality they possessed in the same rhythm.
Love the story line from the 1st book of the first season right through this book, none were boring not a chapter or paragraph
I choose this rating because your books always have a good plot to them, and it keeps my attention, I'm ready for the next series. I would recommend this series to my friends that like to read a good book
