Good things come to those who wait!
I had the pleasure of reading the ARC for the first book, and was greatly looking forward and fortunate enough to read this ARC. Stumbling Backward takes place directly after the first book, so if you haven't read it yet I highly suggest you read it first before diving into this one.
ST is sweet, and raw, and real. Alisha does a good job at displaying a real, authentic romance between two flawed yet put together characters. The H and h both have their own personal issues to deal through, but somehow they manage to work through their issues by themselves and with each other. I loved it!
The only downside (for me) is that it's not as steamy as I normally like my novels, but after gentle encouragement from me (aka WRITE MORE SEXY TIMES ALISHA!!) I'm thinking she may have added some..."let's play doctor" times for your (my) enjoyment ;)
Besides that, SB is filled with humor, angst, self-discovery and a not so small dash of suspense. I can't wait for book three!
