As a classroom teacher I didn’t find this as illuminating as I hoped. The misconceptions about EL was very basic and the reading strategies described were very vague. I think the checklists in conjunction with descriptions of MTSS (which we are incorporating next year) were very useful. I perhaps was not the intended audience.

The premise is interesting and far some of the chapters had good information, but the last quarter of the book repeated itself and the authors cited themselves incessantly.
