About the author

Heath Stallcup was born in Salinas, California and relocated to Tupelo, Oklahoma in his tween years. He joined the US Navy and was stationed in Charleston, SC and Bangor, WA shortly after junior college. After his second tour he attended East Central University where he obtained BS degrees in Biology and Chemistry. He then served ten years with the State of Oklahoma as a Compliance and Enforcement Officer while moonlighting nights and weekends with his local Sheriff’s Office. He still lives in the small township of Tupelo, Oklahoma with his wife and three of his seven children. He steals time to write between household duties, going to ballgames, being a grandfather and the pet of numerous animals that have taken over his home. great story, poor proof reading

I’ve read 8 books thus far and I’ve given them 5 stars because these characters have grown on me. But there are many errors in this book. Whoever was tasked with reading this and providing edits did a crappy job. There are two characters with similar names, Azazel and Azrael and the author miser these up in various chapters. Something that could’ve been caught with proper proof reading and editing. And there are other slip ups similarly. It’s a minor annoyance that taints a great story and great cast of characters. I’ve completely invested in these guys and it stings when one of them dies and you cheer when the bad guys die. Looking forward to reading Book 9.

Excellent Closing Chapter

This was truly an excellent ending to the first Monster Squad saga. A great story with tremendous main characters that you could truly care about. If you interested in this type of genre I highly recommend this series!
One thing that I do ask of Mr Stallcup is please don't make part 2 of this saga quite as long as the first chapter. I personally would like closure after a few more books for now.

“Time to make the doughnuts.”

Well written and entertaining series. His continual use of the expression “Time to make the doughnuts.” over and over is irritating.

A GRAND TALE OF THE MONSTER SQUAD IT IS...

Hello, this is a great story. I didn't like the death of a certain female Hunter. Surprising little bit of information at the end. Can't wait for the next one. Damn fine stuff. Thanks.
