Traveler extraordinaire Michael Clinton has returned with a stunning new series that defines sense of place in some of the world's most beautiful locations. Choosing the glories of New York's preeminent summer destination―the Hamptons―as the subject in the first installment, Clinton captures the essence of beachfront life and infuses it with wonder and joy. In THE SNAP THE HAMPTONS, the accomplished photographer uses his unique eye to transform ordinary, everyday moments into insightful and inspiring images. Whether it be a crab hiding in the shadow of the dunes, a farmer's stand, historic windmill, or the unpeopled curve of the early morning beach, these evocative images invite viewers to contemplate and focus on the small, yet telling moments that create a larger sense of beauty and wonder. This book will appeal to anyone who loves the Hamptons, art, or photography.
