Alissa Rose has done it again with her second book in the series. She knows what the readers want to see even if she leaves us hanging in the end. But we get to come up with different scenes in our minds as to what takes place.

Bethany and Jax are deeply in love living in New York City during the winter months. Bethany didn't know what she was getting herself into moving with Jax and seeing the business man instead of the carver. She was confused at first and felt like she wasn't loved until a big conversation took place.

Between the misunderstandings and the attacks this book will have you guessing the whole time. The question is what do you think will take place in the next book in the series. I highly recommend for anyone to take place in this series and see how much these two main characters need to be together.

Bethany and Jax are spending the winter in New York. Their lives are different and Jax is different.
I enjoyed seeing the transformation from Bethany in Fun and Games to Bethany in The Gauging Pointe. She's stronger, more confident.
Jax is struggling with being in the city and not on the road doing what he loves. He's still adjusting to having a partner to share his life with.
There is drama, twists, suspense, and of course sexy time. This is a continuation from Fun and Games, the first book in The Gauging Pointe series, and does have a slight cliffhanger ending.

Ready for book three!

After reading "Fun & Games" this book is the perfect second one to the series. A very quick, and entertaining read just as the first was. I love that this book is about how everything changes once they are in the city and adjusting to the business side of Jack. The ending left me wanting to read the third!!! Alissa is very good at making a story flow and it keeps you wanting more! I am looking forward to more from Alissa and especially more from Bethany and Jax!! This is definitely a hot hot HOT read!!
